The truck was what we needed and worked fine however the cab was filthy and I had to clean it before we could even begin our trip. People worry about masks and Covid but there are way worse germs and diseases that occur from filth and shared spaces.Trina Z.

Alisha & husband were just wonderful. We had to cancel and then reschedule and it was no problem to them. They also upgraded us to a larger truck for no additional charge because the one assigned to us was not returned. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Tom was great. He and his wife did a wonderful job at getting me situated. However, when he asked where the return would be, he stated that if I brought it back to a specific location I would receive $100 reimbursement. That did not happen. I was told by the drop off place that it was supposed to have been taken off from the pick up place. So I am out the $100 as it was not discounted off my invoice.RITA K.

Tom and his wife were professional and very good to work with. One thing they mentioned was that if we returned the equipment to a specific location in CT, then we would get a $100 reimbursement on the cost. However, when we returned the equipment to that specific location, they would not reimburse the $100. They said it should have been taken off the initial cost, which it wasn'tRITA K.

In my opinion nothing could be done to improve the customer service at that location. They were extremely helpful and great to work with. Terrific experience, I had an issue with the blinkers on my trailer hook up and Tony was Very helpful and patient while I figured the fuse issue out. First of all the app says I can pay later, but that is not true for 24/7 and that should be immediately corrected. I wasted 20 minutes trying to figure that out, because when I called the number listed if i have problems the person who answered said wrong number and hung up. Also the quality of trucks uHaul uses are garbage. They are dangerous because of a lack of blue tooth and a governor that is stupid. I doubt I will ever use Uhaul again.Eric H.

Just keep doing what you're doing especially at this location. The attendant, Tony, was to me what every service provider should model. The guy is the bomb and very personable! He has an unmatched upbeat attitude. I would recommend you have a personal experience with Tony and rent from his location. My rental was immaculate and that's coming from one who has rented quite a few vehicles over the years. Please go to rent from Tony; you will enjoy the experience!!John A.

This is the second time in recent months I have rented from this location and probably the 10th or more overall. I tried the last two times to do 'contactless' where I don't have to go inside and both times your system won't allow my to complete. This is VERY frustrating and wastes my time as they require me to start all over once inside. I brought this to the attention of the manager and their inside computer system was also down. They tried to take care of my reservation via their phone and kept complaining about it and U-haul overall. I didn't need to hear this and it just made me more anxious to get my truck and get out. They wanted ME to file a complaint (more of MY time!!) Rather than them addressing this issue, which they said is a very reoccuring issue), this was a husband and wife team that doesn't have the proper ediquite to be public facing. They expressed their frustration out loud in front of me and had disagreements in view of the public..not a good look, it was uncomfortable to be involved in. So I finally got my truck more than 30 minutes after I arrived, did my business and brought the truck back early and with more gas than I left with. ( I got NO paperwork when I left with the truck). When I got back, the man greeted me and checked in my truck, he was pleasant at this point. He handed me my bill and it was much higher than I anticipated..he said that I'll have to go inside for a detailed receipt. After I got it, there was a charge for Safe move, which on my reservation, I declined along with every other offering. The woman said that I didn't tell her that I didn't want it. But she never asked me about any extras... safe move, boxes, locked, if I need storage...nothing. So why did she purposefully check the box adding that item to my bill and none of the others?? I asked and then they both started getting irate with me saying it was my responsibility and quote 'the customer is not always right' (man). I said it wasn't about right or wrong, simply it was done on purpose to drive up my bill or it was a mistake..I did not know either way and was not accusing them, but I didn't check the box and opt in for the $14.00 extra charge. The conversation got more heated and the woman asked the man to leave the office and she would handle. She said it was taken care of and I asked for a revised receipt..yet another under the breath comment about me! She wound up calling a supervisor or someone to fix it, but she had to be walked thru every single step and kept sighing like it was such a burden. Pathetic customer service and they both let it be known they were upset with me. This is absolutely unexceptable. I let them know I owned and managed restaurants for over 25 years and knew quite a bit about customer service and how to handle difficult situations and now as a customer, I still have a low bar as far as my personal expectations, but this was one of the worse ones I had in many years. I hope that they get help or can be taught how to handle problems when they arise. I have 6 Uhaul rental places within my town that come up on YOUR map, so they are all within a 10 minute drive I'm assuming. I know exactly where each one is and will absolutely not be going back to this one again even it is the closest. You can search for other reviews by me, to make sure I'm not a serial complainer, but you will find zero of them as I value my time too much, but this one had to be put out there.Shawn M.
