The night before our pick up, it was stated our reservation was confirmed. However when we arrived at the pick up location both the website and app did not allow us to begin the pick up process. We waited almost 2 hours until a customer service rep stated the agent the night before forgot to confirm our pick up and therefore we could not see the pick up button on either application.

I was charged for an additional day when I shouldn't have which included an additional insurance charge. Both charges totaling $54 deducted from my $100 deposit. I called Decatur and complained and was told I would get a call back which never happened.

When you rent a truck of a certain size and are told YES it will be available and then they turn around a few days later and tell you it's NOT available. Had this happen twice. I had to rent the second time because 1st truck wasnt big enough so had to go 3 hours north to finish up. Not counting an hour extra to pick the truck up. Woman told me it would be cheaper to go the extra distance to get it because of miles. OH REALLY. Plus gas added to all this. Alls I want is some compensation for my headache.

Not the pickup location fault but when I rented this U-Haul I rented it for Galesburg, IL. I ended up being contacted the day prior that I would have to pick up the U-Haul an hour away. So when we set our time for moving we didn't factor in 2 hours spent driving to pick up the truck and then back to start loading the truck. Very frustrating. I've now had 2 unfortunate experiences with U-Haul.
