We were charged with a dolly that was not there, there was garbage in the van at pickup and we asked 3 times for an adjustment to the charge but had not been made as yet. Poor service and no follow up. Will not recommend.

I was not impressed with the extraordinary amount of time it took for the paperwork to be processed both at check-in and check-out. Also, I had to wait for the cargo area to be swept out and the fuel tank was less than half full. I will never use a private (in this case auto glass) business that acts as a U-Haul agent again. Also, the final bill was not what I expected. If the base price for a 9' van is $19.95 and the cost per km. is 0.79c., then my 82 km. should have cost $64.78 + $19.95 = $84.73 plus taxes. Instead, I was charged $109.00 plus taxes. The cashier could not explain the difference and he could not contact anyone at U-Haul to get an answer. Very disappointing.

They charged us for a furniture dolly that we never recieved and we broke our backs. The van was disgusting inside when we received it and they were late so we had to leave and come back. When they were ready they rushed us out. He parked it outside in the middle of an extreamly busy and cramped work/driveway already running and opened the door and left. So no preinspection was done. We took our own pictures and did our own walk around. We tried to call them about the dolly but no one answered we just got a weird answering machine asking us for a code? We only had the van for 2 hrs and drove less than 10km. When we returned the van (cleaner than when we got it as we had to wipe things down because they were visably sticky with various crud and smelled of cigarettes) we told them the gas gauge was the same, which it was, and we were charged for a dolly we didn't receive. He said it was no problem and we wouldn't be charged for either. Then we got the $65 bill today we were charged for the dolly and $21 of gas!!!!??? Unbelievably shady bad service. We have had subpar service form Uhaul in the past but this took the cake! Never again.
