I had a 10:00 am pick up time and the office did not open until 10:30. The truck did not have gas . I had to stop and fill it up. The phone charger outlet did not work and the tire monitoring system indicated it needed service.

There was an error with the Uhaul system when I was returning the truck, but the rep at People's Storage was able to sort the issue out quickly and was super friendly and happy to fix it.

I dropped off after hours and had to use the app. It was NOT an easy process. I took a picture of the mileage at least 10 times and it didn't save. I had to start the process over before a picture would save. Then, after I took pictures of the truck the app shut down and I had to start over again. It took 20 minutes when it should have been 5. The location itself is not in a good area of town and is very tiny. Hard to find a spot for the truck.

First, business hours show opening at 10:00 a,m. and no one was there and office was closed. After calling number on door they were out running errands. They arrived close to 10:30 a.m. Second when we asked about an inspection sheet to check off damages they said there was none and was in computer. Asked for a printout and said it couldn't be provided. Ended up it was sent to us on the cell phone. This dealer should have known and told us about it. Finally, I feel we were given an unsafe truck to drive. Once I fueled the truck noticed the right rear tires looked low. Attempted to add air to the inner right tire which was low when pushing in tire and discovered I couldn't add air as the valve extension was missing. Was able to add air to the outer right tire. On the way from Tampa to Rockledge FL broke down a few times as truck lost power on the middle of the freeway. Pulled over and got in started on continued on. While on SR520 entering the Cocoa area the engine light came on and pulled over again. Truck was hesitating and loosing power. Called U-Haul fro roadside assistance which took about 1 hour for National Truck and Tire Center to respond after being on hold for 30 minutes with U-Haul. Once National Truck and Tire Center arrived they troubleshot and found the truck was misfiring. Truck would need a tune-up and may need to be towed. Technician called U-Haul and was on hold about 45 minutes. We all decided to operate truck in a crippled state to get to my home about 10 miles away. Technician followed me to the house to make sure I got home.

1) The gate was locked with a pass-code, and I wasn't provided a pass-code to enter the gate. Luckily someone (who I think was an employee) pulled up behind my truck and entered his code & helped put it away. 2) There was a sign taped to the pole by the pass-code box that said "UHaul Reservations Full - Call ___" So I didn't even think I was allowed to enter there to return it. Plus, the paper didn't have any kind of protection, and it was rained on so it was really hard to read. If the employee didn't pull up behind me, then there was no way I was going to be able to drop the U-haul off there. I was considering pulling out to drop it off somewhere else

The owner was dishonest about the amount of fuel in the tank when we picked the truck. He said it was 1/2 and it was actually 1/4. When we went to change the contract, he was not in the office.

Make sure the vehicle is in top condition (no holes in the roof) prior to renting. I have put in an insurance claim due to water damage to my contents. In addition, I have put in a claim to get my rental fee returned based on the poor experience and issue with the vehicle.

I left the tank at 7/8 full when I picked it up at 3/4. I was charged for more gas. I uploaded a picture of the tank when I checked it back in. Also, the Uhaul was dirty when I picked it up. Before returning, I wiped it down and swept out the back. I completely disagree with these charges. If the person working at the place where I dropped it off filled this in, then it is absolutely unacceptable. He was extremely disgruntled by the fact that I had to return it there. He told me to return it to a different location that was not listed on the contract. I called Uhaul and a customer service representative told me to leave it where my contract indicated. Then, the employee at the location was yelling at me and telling me he was going to charge me for parking it at the location. I called Uhaul again and they ensured I was fine. This is completely unacceptable and I want these charges dropped because they are false. I received a second email with less gas and an additional .9 miles. The employee was not wearing a uniform, had headphones in and did not appear to even work there. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

I ordered and was charged for a dolly and a cart. There was neither in the uhaul when I got to the moving site. I am aware that I should've checked before I took the truck, but even after calling the location, no one picked up and no one helped. Upon returning the truck an hour after mg scheduled time, I received a notification via email from equipment recovery that the truck had not been returned, indicating I would be charged extra. The service counter guy was inept and had to retrieve his manager to process my payment. There is nowhere to park. 0 out of 10 would not recommend to a friend.

I was charged for fueling the truck even though I returned the truck with 1/4 tank which exactly what it was when I received it. The guy who brought the truck around told me it was $10 to rent a dolly when it was actually only supposed to be $7. The facility does not answer the phone when I call to sort it out so I have to drive all the way back. The receipt that was emailed to me states that the tank was at 1/8 of a tank which is not true at all. Obviously this is just what I get for returning the truck after hours so now its my word against theirs. The truck felt like it needed an alignment really bad. Not only will I never use this location again, I will never be a customer of u-haul again. Absolutely terrible.

Let me start off by saying that I originally had a reservation with the Earthship Inc. location also on 56th street and they were simply despicable. I arrived to my reservation 30 minutes early only to find that no one was at the establishment. I called 3 times and i went to voicemail. When i finally got tired of banging on their door I called the 12225 56th location where the owner informed me that he had a truck for me rent . When I arrived he metme with an apologetic and helpful spirit after hearing about my predicament with their sister location. He was quick and effecient with filling out my information for the rental as well as adding a fuel credit for my trouble. I will recommend this location to my fellow college students in need of a U-Haul. Thank you so much!

The lady that works here lives in the office with her cats. Very unprofessional work ethic and environment. Apparently she has to pay for the internet. Why is that a problem? And why is she the only one working there? I want my refund!

Nothing! In fact the corporate stores, can learn something from the site manager over at People's Storage!! ??. Manager has a positive attitude with all the customers as I was waiting to be seen! Just impressed with his abilities to handle every situation that was presented to him! Very professional and humble! Skip the big stores! This place still handles customers like a pop & mom store! Love it! Thanks Tony will be using you again! And not just Uhauls. Possibly a Storage and your New moving Company! Been a pleasure!

Improve your reservation system. I reserved a car hauler 1 month in advance and confirmed it 1 week in advance with local Punta Gorda uhaul store. Had plans to pick it up Monday and drive to Michigan that afternoon. I got a call that Monday morning from local store saying he didn't have a car hauler for me. WTF? He gave me uhaul traffic number and I spent 45 minutes on the phone while they tried to locate a car Hauler for me Closest one they could find was 2 hours away in Tampa but I had no choice but to drive up there and get it. Total breakdown on UHAUL's part. Very disappointing. At least the guy that ran the Tampa store took care of me.

The staff was completely incompetent. They told me I could pick up my truck an hour early, but when I arrived no one was there. I ended up having to wait the full hour to get my truck. When they arrived they sounded like they weren't expecting me. Then to top it off they gave me the wrong truck.
