This comment doesn't necessarily reflect this location but I didn't see a place to put an overall comment. We had problems from the start it took us nearly two hours to rent a truck and vehicle trailer. When we left my husband didn't really look at the gas gauge but we drove about 25 miles and had to fill it with $75 of gasoline. The next morning we loaded a vehicle on the trailer and it appeared the brakes locked and was smoking so we had to leave it at Texas Creek. We did get good roadside service to get us a hotel but the truck had to travel 150 miles to it's destination without us to be there when it unloaded. We were never compensated for the trailer we did not get to use or the gas mileage for a total of $150 with should not have happened. I don't think we would ever use Uhaul again.Ben K.

Tire blown out and had a accident in the highway that could be fatal. Cargo got damaged and hurt my back in the process. The road side assistance pointed out the tires were in really bad shape, lights weren't functional and trailer looked bent.DANIEL M.

The location was dirty, had not been cleaned in years. The process went very slowly even with early check in having been done. The truck we rented hadn't been washed in years, The interior was clean but the driver's seat was stuck close to the steering wheel and and provided a very uncomfortable trip for my husband who did all the driving. Unless you're desperate getting a truck as we were, choose a different location.David R.
First off you have to wait for someone to get there to pick up the uhaul usually have to call someone and wait atheist 30 mins for them to get there then their internet doesn't work so it takes another 30-45 minutes to for them to check the usual out to ypu.Lacey B.

We had our move set up with the U-Haul facility in Pueblo CO. At the last moment,, we were informed that we had to pick up your truck in Penrose CO, which added another 30 miles to our trip mileage, plus our extra fuel. Then we found out, in Penrose, they weren't set up to accept cash, only a credit card. Our credit limit wasn't enough to pay the total amount, so we had to ask for help from our daughter and her husband. If it weren't for them, our move to South Dakota would have had to have been canceled. Then, the picture on our contract form showed that the gas tank was full. When we got in the truck, the gas gage indicator was on the 1st mark, not on the "F" mark. When we returned the truck, we filled it up to that same 1st mark, but we had to pay them an extra $15, to top it off to the "F" mark. We have used your services before, and never had all this trouble picking up your truck, or returning it. We were never informed that there would be a different pickup location, or that they wouldn't accept cash. So, because of all the problems we had, we will choose a different facility, for our next move.Janet H.

When we arrived, an employee was not there yet but arrived about 3 minutes later which was fine. The office was dark, cold and a bit dirty. The employee was incredibly nice but the office was not well maintained. I felt like the truck was not as clean as it could be. There was debris left in the back which we had to sweep out and the cab needed a deep wipe down. The seats were pretty dirty and the steering wheel needed to be cleaned as well. I felt like the truck could have been a bit more clean for the distance we were about to travel ( we spent about 15 hours in the truck).GRACE F.
The place was more of a mechanic shop, which wasn't a big deal. But, the U-Haul rep was no where to be found to inspect the drop off. I left the vehicle with the mechanics. Also, my $100 deposit was not fully returned to me. Why??? Because I picked up the U-Haul at 8:50am and was to return on May 1st after moving into the home that was available on May 1st. Apparently, U-Haul doesn't recognize the date of drop off, just the time. So, I was picking up the keys and unloading the truck when I was supposed to be turning it in. So, I got charged an additional day for turning in 7 and a half hours past the 8:50am pick up time. That pissed me off.Bernice L.

Trying to contact U Haul is impossible! No live person and this is the second bad experience with U Haul that I've had. Phone menu is NOT helpful and neither is website. Contract is still in error and I was overcharged despite the local agent trying to dispute the charges.BARBARA M.
