Clean the vehicle. The inside was incredibly dirty and poorly maintained. Upgrade the vehicles for better tech. No rear view camera is a must have for vehicles now days. Especially for such a large truck. Make sure the tires have air pressure and the wheels are aligned before anyone rents it. Keep the location that I ordered the Uhaul from!! Telling me I have to go to another location the morning of is unacceptable. This location in West Jordan is extremely hard to find and is poorly run.Tim B.

The truck had items in it when I picked it up which I left and I was charged a cleaning fee. There was no one there when I dropped the truck off an hour ahead of schedule. I could not access the online check in after 30 min of trying, I was charged an extra day rental.John J.
Fire up. Location is sloppy and kinda sketchy with very unclear location and procedures. No one is on site during open hours until they feel like it. Wasted an hour trying to figure out truck pick up. Wasted an hour trying to return my vehicle. I'll never go there again and I'll recommend people avoid it.Joel N.

No marking/signs on the office, had to call them to find where their office was located - not obvious. Reserved trailer wiring connections were broken/not working for lights, had to move to another trailer (took about 45 minutes of them calling HQ to get the reservation changed). Trailer I did take had a slow leak in one tire - had to fill it twice during the time I had it. Was low when I took it. Returning trailer was fast and easy, however.Richard J.

It was very difficult to find the office where we picked up the Uhaul trailer. The trailer had graffiti all over the side. The drop off instructions were not clear and there wasn't a way for us to document that we had dropped off the trailer.William W.

Communication on how to pick up and drop off equipment, worked out well but I had to call when I got there but only had to wait a few minutes, just wasn't sure of the process prior to. Drop off, I just left it and called the next day due to no answer and uhaul system was down. Equipment was great, clean, and worked perfect.David B.

I had to drive 30 miles out of the way to get a truck. I only needed it for maybe 20 total miles but had to way overpay on miles because of availability. Don't let me book it if it isn't available. I usually choose Uhaul but will probably use another service next time.Chris B.

Having completed everything online, there was some discrepancies between what the app said and what was done. Disputing cleaning charges I was lead to believe that I would have been contacted by a representative within 24-48 hours, which was not the case. Repeated attempts to contact U-Haul to adjust these issues has yet to be met with any contact from them whatsoever. Location-wise this location needs a lockbox as the app directed me to leave the keys in a lockbox that wasn't there and the truck wasn't clean before rental (broken glass in the back of the truck, trash all around the cab).Roy E.

The drop off location was quite hard to find and once I found it (after calling and being walked through where to return the truck) I was basically just told to park it in a return lane and leave the keys inside and they would take care of it all. That sounds nice off the bat, but honestly I was hesitant as the truck was still technically in my possession until I got a reciept that it was returned and there was no staff nearby. I have rented multiple uhauls before and this was just an odd way to do a drop off.BRYCE M.

It was a great check in - terrible check out. Charged over $400 for a truck that only cost $71.60. Still messed up 2 days later. Charges nobody actually "did", except it says Pendleton's on my bank statement. Hmmmmm. NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE! Worst kind of scam artists!Audra C.

Several days before moving, we tried to find a 12- or 15-ft truck but none were available at any Uhaul location, which we found difficult to believe. We had to waste money and space for a 20-ft truck. We filled out several forms online for the rental, scheduling the pickup for 09:30. We arrived at 09:30 but no one was there, as the location did not open until 10:00am. The attendant did not arrive until 10:15am (another customer was there who had the same issue). The attendant then had to repeat the online forms and had problems with the program so it took over 30 minutes to get the truck. The 24-hour period should then have begun at 10:45am but the time began at 09:30 so we were shorted 1 hr, 15 min of our paid time.HILLARI G.

The guys who answer the phone are extremely rude and not helpful in any way. I had issues with the return process with the mileage and the guy I spoke too told me he doesn't know how to help in anyway at all. Told me he wasn't a 24/7 call center and he couldn't help me. Very rude. Will never rent or recommend this location ever again. I only rented from this location because there wasn't any others available in a different location when I needed the uhaul.Taylor W.

I completed the online checkout and deposited the keys in the clearly marked drop box at the end as instructed, and still got a phone call and texts asking where the keys were, so I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding on my part or if that process could be cleaned up a bit? We stood outside in the hot sun, the workers tablet that he was using kept crashing and I had to input mu info several times. The 2 guys were nice and apologetic about the issue. When I made the reservation I requested a toll dolly when I arrived at the location I was told the only dolly they had was broke, therefore we had to get a vehicle transport unit which Im sure was more money. I was also charged $25 for some insurance that I was not aware of until I looked at the receipt. This should have been told to me verbaly so that I would have been aware of the charge. I went after hours and checked in via the app. Some worker yelled at me that I was doing it wrong, that I needed to check in with him, even though I had been there for 20 minutes and he didn't say anything until I was done. Lame.Lynn W.
The individual at the location did the best he could. The owner wasn't there and failed to leave keys for the person working to access the lot where the trailers were stored. The location where the uhaul sign is and where Google maps directs you was not correct. I arrived at my scheduled pick up time and the door was locked. The sign said that due to COVID-19, it was by appointment only and to call a number. I called the number and the person that answered didn't respond to me after I explained I was there for my trailer reservation. I said â€œhello?â€ And he confirmed he was there, so I explained again that I was there to get the trailer and he hung up on me. I finally happened upon the person handling the uhaul rentals (45 minutes after my scheduled pick up time) while I was walking around this strip mall and on hold with uhaul customer service. This was a horrible experience. I would not recommend uhaul based on this experience. I had no idea if it was legitimate or legal and uhaul needs to do a better job to ensure the people they're contracting are at their locations for people to get their rented equipment.Nickolis S.

First off, U-Haul changed my pickup location the day before it was scheduled. I received an email saying 9:00am at Pendleton's Towing for a 24/7 rental. I got there at 8:45am, logged into my account to try to do the 24/7 mobile verification, and it said I was scheduled for in-person key handoff (even though the reservation SAID 24/7). It also showed on the web that the location opened at 10:00am... even though my email confirmation from U-haul told me to be there at 9:00am. I called U-haul and sat on hold for 45 minutes only to find out there was nothing to be done. Stood in the parking lot until 10:00am, nobody was there yet. Finally a guy showed up but he said he couldn't help and another guy was on the way. Long story short, the other guy showed up ~10 mins later with no apologies, communication, or urgency. After inexplicably waiting around even longer I FINALLY got into a truck and was told "these came in last night and we haven't gotten to clean them." Anyway, by about 10:50am I had keys in hand. I've rented plenty of trucks in the past and this was by far the worst experience I've had. Disappointed and frustrated with both U-haul AND Pendleton's.DANIEL R.

I had signed in on the virtual app. I declined the additional coverage. The rep came out and did something on a tablet....which apparently included signing us up for safemove for $90 of unauthorized chArges. He drew a line through signature, neither me nor my husband signed. Now I am battling uhaul to refund the unauthorized charges and Pendleton just shrugged and said not sure what happened and we have to fix with uhaul.JAMES E.
It said 19.99 a day, I ended up paying 173.00. I filled the tank to half where I found it and they said it was more. They stacked fee after fee after fee. Next time I will take everything in my car. Never again.ROBERT S.

the 24/7 checkout and return was awful. It took more than 2 hours just to get the key to the truck and get going. Of that 2 hours, more than 1 1/2 hours was spent on the phone with customer support, who had enormous difficulty with their own system. The local pickup company also could not make the system work. Very frustrating. The customer service rep and all the people were great, the truck was great, but the pickup system was awful. We probably had to try to log into it 30 times, only about 15 of which worked. Once in, could not figure out what we needed to do, and system just did not work, period.
