The whole process for getting a uhaul was really simple. You can put in a reservation online and once you get there, you go through a few things with the associate like license and emergency contact. You get the keys and before you take off, you do a walk through of the vehicle. You can upload photos of any previous damages made on the car so you don't get put at fault for them and confirm the miles of the vehicle. Once that's all done you're all set. Singh was amazing. He had a great personality and was incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend the location I went to based off the customer service I received.

I have several issues with my experience that I feel were not only dissatisfactory but also threatened my life. 1. The passenger end of the truck was not clean, primarily because of the dirt that permeates the entire lot where trucks are located. There was an errant bag in the back as well. when I came in. 2. I was not provided the two dollies that I needed for a successful move which made the moving process take longer and caused undue stress and increased fatigue. 3. When we drove for 10 minutes on the road, we had a message alert us to an issue with the air in the tire. When going to a gas station to fill it, the cap on the front right tire was missing. When trying to refill the dashboard said, "Service needed, monitor system" which we didn't know what it meant but were limited on time, so we powered through thinking we had addressed the tire issue and it could be checked later. After loading and heading back on the road, the truck in frequent intervals began to shake violently because of the location, we tried to just get to the location and get off the road as soon as possible. This limited our ability as well to fill the tank as we were supposed to. 4. When trying to deliver the truck and keys, the lock box was locked and no one had the code. We called uhaul and they did not have the code, When using the check-in and the check-out in the app, no code was provided. The proprietor called at 11ish pm to ask when we would deliver the keys and the truck and then were told to not worry about it and to "take our time." I was told as well by the operator on the phone when I tried to deliver the keys that i should just deliver when they opened because there was no box to leave the key. At 10ish am, I received a frantic call that somehow "20 people were waiting for the truck" and that it was urgently necessarily that I come as soon as possible to deliver the keys. I mentioned the earlier conversation about no rush and that this could have been alleviated if I had a code and could deliver the keys the previous evening. No acknowledge that their process is inefficient and the true cause of this problem.

The Truck I rented was not available. I drove half hour to get to that location and they did not tell me before. I had no chance at 4PM at night to find another truck. They gave me a van that was not clean. I had to hand load my cargo because I could not use a forklift. When I returned the van they said sorry. This increase my labor cost and material cost because I had to leave two pallet at the airport. I have rented there many times before but not again.

No one was available to remove the trailer, the yard is so small it was difficult to put the trailer in the available space. it is a close convenient location for me to drop off.

Only suggestion I would make would be to maybe give the option for the renter to register themselves/license before arriving at the actual site so that you can cut down a little bit how long it takes you from the time you arrive to pick up the vehicle to when you can actually drive off the lot. Otherwise great experience and efficient process, just a little annoying that I plan to pick my vehicle up at 10am and it takes me almost 30 minutes to leave, even having gone through this all before and being familiar. Or perhaps just suggest that renters show up 20-30 min early/ are prepared to allow that amount of time would be a helpful alternative as well.

Improve the pick up process and the guy who gives the keys. It was such a long and disastrous process. Returning was terrible too. I gave back the keys and realize that the app requested to put in the odometer. I went back to the guy and asked for the keys for a quick 1 minute just to switch the truck on to check the odometer and he refused and said to call U Haul which will take a long process and I was in a rush. Terrible terrible experience, never booking from U Haul again

Your system/personnel has an issue of double booking for the same truck. I had intended to pick up my rental at 7am but was told my rental was else where and the location didn't open till 10am. It would have been nice to have gotten an email confirmation at least a day before rather than a phone call the day of telling me that I was at the wrong pick up location and three hours later. Over all this has been a total hassle and an inconvenience as I had movers waiting 3 hours doing nothing while waiting for a truck. This in turn also delayed the movers at the terminal location accruing extra chargers on my part for this delay.

Make sure they have all the equipment at one location. We scheduled our truck and trailer 2 months out and had to go to 3 locations to get the truck, trailer and enough blankets. The movers we hired through U-Haul Were professional and did an amaizing job wrapping all the furniture and loading the truck.

Easy experience & friendly customer service. I would note that the call to the friend/relative to confirm your identity is coming from an 800 number. The owner of the bodega came out to ask if we needed any help, which was very nice of him. A U-Haul rep also happened to be there and did a quick check-up on the truck before we took it out.

I returned my truck 30 minutes late and was charged a complete second day. I thought maybe there would be a minor late fee, but I did not realize there would be a 100% fee. If this is the policy, it should be more clearly stated.

The representative asked to get the van back with 3/4 tank full. However the tank was not at 3/4 and have a time stamped photo to prove it. I used the cargo van for 5 miles, I put two gallons of gas in it and was barely at 3/4. I gave the receipt to the rep. Surprisingly I was charged for CDW which I did not request and had no choice to accept or waive. Is this how U-Haul operates?

Train your staff to Charge correct payments, I was over charged therefore draining my bank account leaving me stranded at a gas station because my card declined because your service charged me 3 times the amount that was owed. Customer service stated they would contact me within 72 hours from corporate to clear up the mess and discount me. I demand a discount because it has been over two weeks now and I still have not been contacted and I still insufficient funds in my account. This is the last time I am ever using U-Haul your sevice is very disappointing and I feel that I have not had the proper assistance needed to get refunded my money.

Very unprofessional location. I've never had aU-Haul experience quite like this. First of all, there was no paperwork, no signatures, no selection of insurance coverage, etc. They also only have two trucks. The employees were kind on a personal level, but the unprofessionalism was a bit too much to handle. They added insurance coverage I did not ask for and charged me a very high mileage rate, and refused to accept my U-Haul VIP Credit. They did not do an inspection on drop off, and did not give me the form or ask me to do an inspection. No paperwork was received whatsoever. I took pictures of every part of the truck to document all of the existing damage, since I was worried about the lack of ability to do an inspection. Go to a proper larger location for more professional service—it's not UHaul's fault, just this franchise.

Hidden fees, van smelled like cats really badly. For what I paid for the van I could have had the furniture delivered. The man was kind and helpful, and I don't think he has control of the prices and fees, but will not rent from U-haul again.

I reserved a 10 foot truck and gave payment and information. When I arrived, the man behind the counter said they only had vans. I asked why they accepted my rsvp and money for a truck if they didn't have any. He said the rsvp was only a "request" or "suggestion" not an actual rsvp. He also insulted me and said all you americans want fast food service and don't want to wait. I rented the van because we were moving house. Had to leave some stuff behind that didn't fit in the van. Belongings of previous renters left in the van...obviously not cleaned. REALLY POOR SERVICE. Never rent from them again.

Cashier had no idea what was going on. I told him I am dropping off my rental and calls his boss. Boss tells me to park it in the back. Cashier refuses to give me the key stating boss has to tell me. Call boss again and he once again states to park it in the back. After getting off the phone cashier still refuses to give me key. Left the uhaul on the side.
