Truck was scheduled to be dropped off at 4p on 7/2. I arrive at 4p on 7/2 at the drop off location to a closed business. Not the end of the world as I place the keys in the drop off box and complete online check out on my phone. I received a call from a UHaul representative on 7/3 around 4p inquiring about the late truck drop off. I explained to the representative I had dropped the truck off 24 hours prior at the designated location, had checked out on my phone and left the keys in the deposit box. They said this was all they needed to know and "I was good" at that point. I receive an invoice via email on 7/4 at 12:46p showing I had been charged for two extra days by the drop off location. I had not been contacted or notified in any way they were alleging the truck was late, especially since I had completed the drop off check list on the date it was due back and spoken to a representative when they called the next day to confirm the truck had been dropped off.ADAM D.
