During these times of COVID, perhaps the business could put something in the vehicle stating that they sanitized the inside of the vehicle after every use. I had to wipe the inside of the vehicle just so that I felt safe.

I opened an online account; filled out the type of vehicle I wanted, filled out my personal and credit card information, and your website prompted for me to enter a Verification Code which was being sent to my email address. After five minutes I hit the button to send me another verification code. After receiving no code, I just logged out of my account. The rental at the location went smoothly. Just now logging in to my email account I see that two verification codes were sent to me via email ALMOST FOUR HOURS after your website system asked me to enter the verification code which was being sent to me. There seems to be a bug in your system you may want to fix.....Regards, Ken

Not much improvement needed here. My experience was exceptional. The staff were professional and courteous. I was in and out in no time both coming and going. No hassle. No fuss. I highly recommend this establishment for U-haul rental. Well done!

Past experiences with uhaul at other locations have been pure aggravation. This time was flawless. The rep was friendly and got everything done quickly. I would definitely use this location again.

The trailer I was supposed to rent to pull my truck lacked the straps to tie down the front wheels. As they did not have replacement straps nor another carrier, I was told to call roadside assistance. Though the representative on the other end of the phone was helpful, she couldn't solve this problem and directed me to another U Haul store a few towns over and for this store to reverse the contract. Upon arrival at the U haul store in Glenn Bernie, I was pleased to find they had three trailers. Assessing the time I had lost, I still assessed I could on with my plans. Then the young lady lowered the boom and said she had made an error and that the trailers she did have were only for local hire, not one way. At this point I proclaimed three tours in Iraq were less stressful than this U-Haul experience. I sought out the manager and common sense prevailed—he gave me the trailer and I was on my way, but had missed/lost an entire day of packing. Sorry, not a big fan right now. Doug Farris

Pickup was a little slow with the cashier assisting other customers at the same time he was trying to finalize paperwork for me to take the truck. Truck's air conditioning was non-functional, which was somewhat painful given the temperature that day, and the padlock on the back of the truck did not open. The key provided went into the lock and turned, but the lock wouldn't actually open, forcing me to use string to tie the latch shut on the cargo door to ensure it wouldn't open during transit.

I used this location because it was nearby. Utilizing the online process made the in/out aspect relatively simple and quick. Recommend not to purchase equipment via the online option. The facility you request it through might not have it or just won't prepare it to order. Overall, excusing the mishap of not having my equipment in my vehicle this location was convenient and simple. Just be cautious and thorough when inspecting your request.

Have someone more experience running out the equipment. And making sure the equipment is maintained properly. Upon returning we we're in formed there was no brake fluid by the returning location in Port Richey.

The location of the Uhaul trucks were in a very small parking area of the gas station. I elected to pick up the truck by mobile because I thought it would be a very efficient and safe alternative then going inside. Well I was still prompted to go inside the gas station and the attendant was sort of confused by everything. I would not recommend the mobile app or this location due to lack of communications.

The location was average in my opinion. It's inside of a convenience store so, it's a “one man show”. The clerk that assisted me attempting to multitask by handling my matter while also checking customers out at the point of sale up needing to purchase items from the convenience store along with gas. It was awkward and just like I had no privacy to handle the purpose I came there for. It would be nice to have a little privacy and that, as a customer, an associate gives me their undivided attention. To top it all off, my truck was filthy on the inside and smelled horribly.

Improve communication and customer service/support from representatives. Have someone available to physically assist with hookup. Location not suitable for trailering.

My pick up went well, the online pictures did not match the truck accurately, and there was some stuff in the cab as well as what appeared to be a grease or oily stain on the passenger side floor. The location of the pickup and the personnel working was fine.

First of all it took forever to get the truck. They had one person working there. They had me and another customer getting a truck and had to stop for every person getting gas and any merchandise. People getting gas were pumping gas for 30 mins waiting for the gas to flow out and there response was it's cold and it comes out slower. My reservation was wrong and tried to charge my credit card before telling me how much my card was being charged. The price isn't what I was quoted. had to get on the phone with the place where I originally had the reservation with and they fixed it and was very helpful. not to mention my reservation was changed 3 times, 1 because they didn't have the size truck I wanted which was a 20 foot they didn't have so we went down to a 15 foot at another location then they text me 30 mins before my pick up time to the location above and was there an hour before getting the truck. The only thing good about this truck rental was the drop off location in Winchester va.

He did not tell me the actual price. He told me the price of it as if it were a pick up and return at the same location. I did not realize I was spending 510 dollars instead of the 30 dollars I originally paid. I am still waiting for UHaul to provide me the refund I was promised seeing that I was told the wrong price.

The location itself was fine but U-Hauls reservation system as a whole is terrible. I did not even book this location originally...this location is about 20 miles away from the location I originally made the reservation. And, my pickup location was changed 4 other times in between the original booking and the actual pickup. This is horrible.

This was not the original location I attempted to drop off my rented trailer. I informed uhaul that I didn't know the exact location I would be dropping it off at. I informed we would be dropping it off in the DC Metro area, Uhaul then auto selected a drop off location for me. Customer Service informed me it was no problem to drop off anywhere since I paid for the one-way premium. I then attempted to drop off at two locations and customer service refused to let me do the auto drop off without incurring a major fee. I finally dragged this trailer to a third (finally) manned location, but even then the staff was ambivalent at best. I then spent nearly an hour on the phone with multiple customer service offices only to hit a useless brick wall. Uhaul is not clear about their one-way policies, and is unclear of their fees associated with one way trips. It's absurd to pay double for one-way, only to be double charged for a ridiculous fee.

I was so happy! I had advised the agent that I had a horrible prior experience, so she said here are the keys, you choose the truck you think is best, and I did! The only reason I did not choose excellent was that I was initially advised that this location was closed on my requested day, so I chose to rent electronically via the app. I arrived and found out everything had to be done with an agent. I did not see any way to complete the transaction electronically, so I was glad for the assistace, but be clear and follow through.

Had a blow out 1 1/2 hours after we left!!! We had to wait 1 1/2 hours for someone to come and put a new tire on. Temperature was close to 100 outside and we had to stay in the car with the a.c. on for that length of time. This was not good for our car!

#1) There was a dead frog in the trailer. So no, not clean. #2) The gentleman that helped me connect the trailer at Parkway Sunoco did it wrong and the connection system was missing a rubber stay for one of the chains and a chain extension loop required the emergency brake system. #3) When I went back to get the rubber holder and chain extension loop, the lady had no spare parts. So, we took one off another trailer hitch system in the parking lot. For the chain extension, she said to call 1-800-uhaul. #4) The lady at the service desk was polite and said she'd call back in less than 30 minutes ... which she did. She told me the emergency repair person in the area didn't have a spare, but the lady at the Sunoco had one now. So, I went to the Sunoco for a second time and she again took a part from another trailer's system. Bottom line: If you are going to sub-contract your business to a gas station, require all employees to pass a basic hook-up and safety class. Thank you.

Had to keep stepping aside for regular customers as there was only one worker. Also was trying to overcharge me from the rate on my reservation, plus I should have checked the mileage on truck when I picked it up, because the end mileage was not correct with the miles I used. Will only rent from a uhaul place in the future,

It's a gas station, a bulletproof safety window is where you talk to rent the equipment. They didn't tell me anything about the equipment or point out which was mine to take. It was a very odd place to rent equipment. The truck was dirty and backed into a fence and tree so I couldn't even check the back without driving it. Trucks a/c didn't work.

The lone person in the store immediately began checking - confirming my rental details on the computer and verbally confirmed 8 or so details with me. Gave me the key and told mne hed be right out after helping a couple of customers that had come in. He was out at the truck with me a minute later what I was making sure all was good this the truck and was helpful and curtious. The 15' truck clean and looked quite new (under 11K on the odometer). I drive it 303 miles and (~280 loaded) and got 8.42 miles per gallon no AC, mostly highway speeds and I didn't "push" it. The truck drove quite well and the seat was acceptably comfortable. All in all a very good experience all around.
