Terrible service. Bathrooms unsanitary, could hardly underhand the worker, trailer didn’t have working tail lights. Will never come again.

The younger gentleman who received, fuelled up and parked the truck was excellent to deal with. The older chap who I handed off the paperwork to was crass and unintelligible. When I asked him if there was any further action required of me, ie. signature or payment, he pointed to a picture on the wall of himself “flipping the bird” and told me to take a picture of it, shove the phone up my $&@ and get the $&@“ out. It was mildly comical but for the most part aggravating.

Getting into and out of this location was difficult. Entry is from a merge lane and getting out is tricky. Ground uneven and not enough room. No where to park when picking up the u-haul driver. Looks run down. Friendly staff but area needs to be cleaned and organized.

Honour that a "guaranteed booking" is actually guaranteed; cancelling on someone who needs to move the following day is absolutely unnacceptable. The service from UHaul was innexcusable.

When I booked the Uhaul truck I originally booked in Vernon 3 weeks before we needed it. Uhaul in Vancouver called me approximately 3 days before our pick up date and said the truck would not be available until 3 pm when I booked it for 9 am. I have movers booked to arrive at 9:30. She said there was one available in the next town so I had to take it and pay the extra mileage. Not happy!!! And was told paying .99 per km and ended up being $1.43. Disgusted with Uhaul. And to top it off they recommended the movers to use who turned out to be less than stellar. One had no front teeth but did his best. The other was completely useless and complained about everything to everyone so he didn't have to move. Grrr. We have been happy with Uhaul in the past but this last experience has left a very bad taste.

The worst U-Haul and one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I showed up at 1:55 and my pickup was at 2pm. They started off by asking if they could give me a 15' truck instead of 20', to which I said no, then they went on to say the 20' truck wasn't ready. 10 minutes later it was ready, no problem there. She then showed me my contract, which showed a per kilometer rate of $1.43, instead of the estimate I received a couple days earlier at $0.89 per kilometer. Really, a 61% increase? I have the email to prove it. She said they couldn't do anything about it and to contact U-Haul to get a refund, at which point the older guy pointed to a phone number scribbled onto a sheet on the wall behind him. She asked if we're good to proceed, and I said what other options do I have at this point. The older guy then was on the phone for 10 minutes with what seemed like a friend of his but said I had to wait before I could leave (although I had already checked in online days prior), then got off the call and said I was good to go. There was a quarter tank of gas in the truck, which matched the quarter tank written on the paper slip they gave me, all good. Then once the official contract was emailed to me they had put 3/8 of a tank on it! So even though I returned it with more than a quarter tank I now see an additional charge on my Visa at Parkway Gas. They were rude, unprofessional, and way over-charged. I will go far out of my way to never pick up at this location again. No wonder they have a 2.3 star review on Google. Seems high.

Don’t bill someone for being late returning when it was actually returned early. I strongly suggest that apoun returning the rental I should receive confirmation from them in writing to prove it was returned early. Personal came to us outside when we pulled in to location. Told us where to park it, looked it over and said that his mom which I assume is your uhaul representative would look it over and would email me. I’m assuming it was not inspected till today and charged us for an extra day because they were late a day inspecting. I am really not happy or impressed with this at all.

The lady tried billing me for 2 days when I only had the trailer from 2:30pm until 8:15am the next morning. I’ve rented from Joe before and never had a problem. Not a very nice lady!!! 😡

don't allow 24/7 bookings if you are going to change it to in person booking at the time of pickup. I was left stranded until the location opened. my booking clearly said 5:30 pickup using a well charged cellphone. they didn't open until 8:00. also the battery died, and I needed a bost.

outrageous, you didn't have 2/4 items I had booked and then had the gull to pull the policy card on me. you didn't have the vehicle transport, so i had to get my partner to drive beside me and then when we tried to drop off the truck in a different location you told me it was against policy. where was that policy for my vehicle transport? I hope i never have to use Uhaul again.

These people are like night and day in comparing them to the one in Saskatoon. The attendant there was very helpful he even found us a taxi to help us get back to where we needed to be after a long eventful driving experience with the truck.

If you are not heading to Vernon from this location you have to drive for 15-20 to get turned around safely and head into Kelowna
