We have rented trucks at other locations and have always received excellent customer service and very clean vehicles. This rental was filthy inside, outside and the bed of the truck. We asked the owner of the gas station to look at it with us and he said he did not have time and passed the keys through the window. It is also listed we drove 81 miles in one day. We went 51 miles. Upon return the owner of the gas station did not come out and look at truck until we were leaving. We did not want the coverage as we have rental coverage through our individual car insurance. The owner did not review any paperwork, contract, etc..... We are requesting a partial refund. Gracias.Nicholas L.

I reserved my 10' truck online the night before, scheduled my pick up time for 4:40pm, but had to reschedule for later in the evening due to family plans that conflicted (tubing down the Gun Powder) and the owner was EXTREMELY ACCOMIDATING. Got to the location and with the U-H app, got my keys in ~ 5 to 10 minutes. This location has WAY BETTER hours, into the late evening until 8:30pm and with the app, you can return after hours with key box drop off. Has an impressive and ample fleet. Would highly recommend.Edward C.

The man who owned it or worked there was talking on his phone the entire time. What should have been a quick process took about 35-40 min. My reservation was nowhere to be found. I was charged more than I was quoted and given less mileage. Overall experience was terrible and I'd never use that facility again.ELIZABETH F.

I called to see if anyone was going to be there between 8-830, as I've had issues with picking up a van in the mobile app before. I was able to get the truck, it was dirty and had a 15 mile range on gas tank. I asked about it when I got back and was basically told call customer service. The gentleman seemed pretty dismissive, so I don't plan on using uhaul again as this has been the recurring theme with multiple sites over the last few uses.JORGE G.

When I drop a vehicle, I expect to inspect it with the person receiving it. That service is not available at this one person operate self-service gas station. I parked the truck, handed over the keys, and waited until the next morning to see my final bill. If I were using Truck Share (that name is a nightmare of co-branding madness), I would expect this. Truck Share - I'm not sharing a truck, I'm renting via an app. It's not my neighbor's truck, it belongs to u-haul. Someone should fire that Product Manager.Thomas B.

The location was close for us, but the facility was rundown and felt a little sketchy. Shattered glass on the front door, the room where the owner was had a hole in the bottom of the door and it looked like someone was living around the back of the building (dirty socks on the ground, trash, etc) . However, the owner was helpful and knowledgeable and the rental process was fairly quick since I had reserved online.Matthew P.
I was charged for 2 days instead of 1. I had the pickup truck for less than 24 hours and returned it PRIOR to the drip-off time. When I called to notify the owner/operator of the double charge I was told that I would have to wait for another person yo contact me. I am UNHAPPY with this service. If this is how U-haul operates, I will find a different company for my remaining moving needs. Use caution.tara C.

I had to wait 50 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. The representative at this location was condescending and added coverage without me knowing. I asked for a receipt and was told one was already emailed to me. Because I was strained for time, I did not have time to check my email to realize he added save move to my rental. Site was rough around the edges, and took a bit of time to get rental, I am admitting I was 30 minutes late, though, so maybe I lost my place in line and attention paid to me was slower. Rental pick up was delayed due to multiple people needing to pay for gas, picking up a rental wasn't the owner/attendant's primary job, so it seemed. Access to get out and into the site is not convenient due to busy traffic, and construction impeding the access.Susan G.

Outside of van was clean. Driver's side outside mirror was shattered but usable. Inside cup holders were sticky and gooey. Inside windshield looked as if a drink had sprayed on it. Seats, dash and storage areas were clean. Not bad, just the little details.George B.
I have rented from Uhaul previously and this has been my worst experience. I was contacted the day prior to my reservation that my original location did not have the truck that I needed so they changed my location. On the day of my reservation I was unable to pick up the truck from the new location. Wasted almost an hour trying to pick up the truck and then I had to go to another location to finally pick up a truck. The side mirror was shattered, tire need air. It's a gas station first so customers filling up or buying something from there take priority over U-Haul customers. There was also an issue with the U-Haul I had reserved. I had to drive a U-Haul with no passenger side mirror because the person before me had apparently broke it and they didn't have another truck the size I reserved. I don't know if that's the responsibility of y'all to take care of it the Sunoco but it created a very hazardous situation for me since I had to move that day.ERIC R.

From pickup with Ghani Mumtaz to the great advice from the tow rental location to the awesome help at the drop-off location in Alabama, the entire experience was smooth and easy. Mr Ghani at the Sunoco had the truck that I needed badly on 12/31 very smooth and easy to get the truck and go Weather and places closed for the Holiday made moving impossible to unload / reload so needed more time and money two snow events plus the holiday was miserable to deal with The one Shining Star was and is Mr Ghani a true hero Thanks again for being there when i needed your helpJOHN Z.

I did not receive an updated copy of my rental agreement which should reflect that I did not have the truck that was actually mentioned on the agreement. I rented a smaller truck instead of the one listed on the agreement. Therefore the mileage used was different. The drop off location was different from the one chosen online and was told that there was nothing that can be done about it. I would not recommend this location at all.Tierra D.

Self checked in but had to stand at the counter for a half hour. Your self check in needs a better workflow. There was 2 box springs And a mattress left in the back of the truck. The vehicle oil light came on and made a beeping noise at start up. I brought it to the attendants attention, but he brushed it aside and said it is okay. He said he emailed me a receipt, but didn't address any terms with me. The vehicle had 3/8 of fuel. I returned it with the same amount of fuel. The attendant at the drop off location just asked for the keys and said, â€œyou are goodâ€ The next day I received a text stating that I was charged $88.00 for fuel. I am disappointed in the service that I received. Their was no instructions on both ends and the vehicle was in poor mechanical condition.ANTONIO P.

Unfortunately, our reservation for our 15 ft. U-Haul did not go well. Our original location for pickup was moved because of the unavailability of the truck. Then we were given another location for pickup which was farther away. I confirmed the pickup and then I was called 5 hours later and told the 2nd location for pickup was unavailable due to no truck availability. I was then given two more farther locations for pickup which was 45 minutes from us. I had made my U-haul reservation one month prior to our move and was inconvenienced and felt that was bad customer service. I will not recommend U-haul to any of my friends or anyone else's.
