A Uhaul rep called to tell me a day or two before pick up that the 10 feet truck I reserved was stolen and a 15 footer has been reserved for me same price as 10 footer. When I drove past Sunoco within that week of the call, I saw at least five small trucks just sitting there. Glad I got a larger truck with a ramp but wasnt charged same price as small truck as promised. I just dismissed it and didnt dispute.Though the Uhaul rep called to let me know he would be late, he was over 30 minutes late which put me behind moving from my home; there was someone ahead of me he needed to assist. Truck pick up was at 8am. I didnt get the truck until nearly 10a. He was, however, very couteous. Overall, the rating would have been poor had the rep been unkind.

The representative that completed my check out was very rude. It was a gas station employee, who kept pushing me aside every time another customer would come in so that he could sell cigarettes. At the end of my check out, which took about 20 minutes, he handed me a key through the counter window and said "it's around back." It did not feel like a personable experience, and I felt like I was a bother more than a customer. I will not be renting again from this location, and I'll think twice about renting a U-haul.

the first vehicle given to me had a discrepancy in actual gas in the truck and what was noted on the paper work. The next vehicle he gave me had a discrepancy on vehicle mileage. But this was the only vehicle left to rent. I drove this truck 4.1 miles and they charged me 18 miles. The store representative then asked me why didn't I take picture. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. THE PAPER WORK DOES NOT MATCH ANY OF THE TRUCKS.

The truck was filthy. The gas was low. It took forever to complete the transaction. The man spoke poor English. Hard to understand what he was saying. First time I had this kind of experience with U-Haul.

Shady business and the manager was very tardy. It took tim more than 1 hour to hand over the keys after we arrived the store! He did not explain there Was after hours service fees. He said everybody knew there was charge which is just silly and baseless. Gas was filled and put up but we got charged for gas and the truck was driven 9 miles. Can someone explain how to know how much gas do i fill when i got the truck with less than half the tank of gas! This business is taking advantage of good people. The manager working in gas station is very unprofessional and treated to call police when asked to explain the bill. The return vehicle time was marked 1 am the next day which should have been 9pm Of same day we rented truck. Please have a representative call me to resolve the billing issue. First of this was not the original location we were suppose to pick up the truck from when making the reservation and saying they had the truck. So they called me a few days before and told me I would have to go to this location. When I called the guy said he had no reservations for us and acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. Then after getting all the way home with the truck and starting to move I realized I was not giving the moving blankets I paid for. So moving the first night was hard. In the morning called the number about the blankets and was told he had them and to drive back to get them where he brought me out in his arms a balled up pile of blankets after I was told they would be clean and in plastic bags. After getting the blankets home and looking at them I realized I would not use them to move my furniture because the were gross and I didn't want someone else's bugs or something. I'm very disappointed in the whole experience. I spent so much time of my 24 hour renting that was not cheap running around getting blankets and stuff and not having what I needed or paid a lot for. At this point I'm not sure if I would ever use or recommend U-Haul again.

The pick up process was clear until it was time to get the key. The key pickup was very confusing and it was unclear. I was asked to provide my license and my credit card to the store clerk (not sure why when I just checked in and provided all of this information online) and then he couldn't find the key for 15 minutes. This delay our plan for the move

The service was normal until I returned the truck. To my biggest surprise my credit company sent a message that uhaul charged $6481 to my card. I called to inquire about the charge but was given any clear explanation to why that happened. That's unacceptable.

Location was changed without notification to us and the one assigned to us had a trailer on back, gas was not filled up, and AC didn't work. not necessarily the locations fault but VERY upset with UHaul. I was late to meet my movers since I had to change locations and then the man had to figure out how to remove trailer.

What the hell is all these charges?!? I understand the 19.95 rate plus the mileage. But why is there another $39.90 rental charge, and $28 safemove charge?! WHEN I CLEARLY TOLD YOU THE $14 ONE.... if I knew you were going to rip me off and basically steal my money I would never have ever done this. My bill should have been 19.95 for renting it, $14 for safemove, plus mileage 22.7, ply tax and stupid environmental fee. I want a refund for my money that was taken without my knowledge for no reason whatsoever. The bill should have been $60 not $100 I want my $40 back. FIX THIS.

This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. I did the mobile check in thinking my wait time would be faster but I still had to wait 45 minutes to receive the key for the truck. Anxious that I wouldn't make it to my pick up location on time I raced to the Home Depot only to find that there were no dolleys or furniture pads in the truck. So I had to go back to the uhaul location and beg for the appliances I requested on my receipt. I was only given one dolley when my receipt said 2 and I also never received the furniture pads. Uhaul still has not refunded me my money for this inconvenience. I should never have to beg for the things I am paying for. Customer service did not exist.

Truck dirty, trash, old license plate Gas tank not full, yet we had to fill it up for return Confusion on pick up despite filling out all paperwork and uploaded driver's license. Confusion on drop off location, took 40 minutes to get truck. Drop off was fine but guy gave us a hard time about the license plate that was in cab. He took it and the phone # of pick up place.

Be able to make a reservation at the site and have vehicle available when requested I waited 45 minutes in my cold car for service after telling staff I would be there before 7 am for 7:30 pick up and owner forgot my conversation day before with staff no paperwork of cost given just took credit card and sent link on my phone after waiting 30 minutes to be waited on

The gentleman at the Sunoco made this transaction painless and very quick. I had originally made a reservation with Budget and sat in their office for 90 mins before I left and initiated my Uhaul rental. I was on the road in 10 minutes! Great value, the bill was just what I was expecting. Thanks!

Getting our vehicle took about 40 minutes after our reservation time, even though we arrived early. For some reason, I had to give my license information 3 times (2 during the days before the reservation & another 1 during the pickup). The 3rd time, the app didn't even work in terms of capturing the license info & needed to be verified. After being "verified" by the live agent Vivanta, the app took us to the key code page to unlock the lock box for our key. The app decided to malfunction & didn't should us the code. After clicking the link to ask for assistance, the app said to contact the UHaul center which was not helpful since it didn't say which one. I attempted to message the "live agent" on the app but Vivanta just ignored the 2 messages. I called the 1-800 number on the UHaul site to which I was put on hold. Since I stayed on hold for way too long and it seemed to not be close to anyone answering my call, I decided to call another UHaul number from my girlfirend's phone to ask for assistance again. I got to an agent who gave us a local UHaul center to call and was transferred to them. There, the rep told us to go in the gas station to ask for the key. I went in to ask and the employee said he couldn't help and to call the UHaul center which we explained we just did and were told to talk to him. He said he couldn't help so we called back and explained the situation. The rep then called the gas station herself and apparently he could've helped and came outside with the UHaul key. We finally got the key and were able to continue with the truck inspection. The picture comparison step came and I went to compare, noting a couple of scratches on the UHaul front top and side passenger door. The app failed to continue with these comments so I tried it without comments which it then worked. The next step came to take pictures of the cabin and back seat which the app then crashed. I'll never use the app again to pick up a vehicle and will just drive the extra couple miles to pick it up from an actual center with reps who know what they're doing.

I had the worse experience with U-Haul. The Original location did not leave the key. The second location after 2 and 11/2 hours in the parking at 10:30 pm trying to get through to your verification department, still did not leave the key. I was told by u0haul customer rep to go back at location 6am and no once was there. apparently the location did not open until 7am on the weekend. I would never recommend anyone the service.

This location should not be used as a drop off site. I arrived at the Sunoco around 11pm & filled up the tank. The alleged manager/owner "Shabir" argued that he did not have any schedule for a truck to be dropped off as well as any "room". Despite me offering to show him my contract confirming the drop off at 2920 E Joppa, he insisted that I do not leave the truck there. I was about to leave & Shabir stopped me saying that because "You're a female" that he'll go ahead & let me drop off the truck. Terrible experience.

This was the worse Uhaul location management I've ever experienced in all my years of doing business with your company. The attendant was rude and did not seem to know what he was doing as he kept having to speak with another associate on the phone. I was given LESS than a 24-hour rental, give my actual pick-up time, despite explaining that the 12P pick-up reservation was FORCED on me. I knew I would not be ready to load my truck until that evening, and would need the truck until the following evening. I was told to return the truck at 12Noon or else incur additional fees and penalties. Due to this, my move was NOT completed, as planned, and I had to rent yet another truck from a different location two days later when a truck was available. My attempts to reason with the attendant, or receive some consideration for the inconvenience and expenses to me were futile, as no Uhaul employee could offer even a simple apology for having extended my move by three days. I am resolved to NEVER do business with Uhaul again.

Local pickup at Parkville Sunoco was easier than the depot in Middle River. The convenience of local pickup makes U-Haul attractive. The area field manager met me onsite, and I enjoyed my interaction with Mike. U-Haul has “stepped up their game” with both the new equipment. The 20' truck was comfortable to drive, handled the highway well and carried a huge amount of our possessions.
