The owner of the store tried to charge me $100 more than I owed for renting a truck for a couple hours. He wrote the speedometer mileage off by 100 and then I had to go out and record the real number which was 100 miles lower than what the owner tried to charge initially before I questioned the outlandish amount. And the rotting wooden door of the office had multiple bugs (crickets?) crawling around on it. I was pretty grossed out.

There was nobody there to help us pick up the car we reserved at the time we specified. After we called the U-Haul customer service, the person finally showed up an hour late. However, we are still requested to return the car at the original scheduled time. So we are forced to start late and have one hour less to finish the moving. That means customer needs to take the consequence for the mistake made by U-Haul personnel. Besides, the person at the U-Haul counter ignored my request to not have the insurance coverage on my reservation. Luckily, I noticed the extra charge on the bill and demand for the correction. Looks like the online reservation is totally ignored at this location.

On the receipt or my reservation I was told to go to a different location and was extremely inconvenienced to find out that my pickup location had been changed without my knowledge. No email was sent to me informing me of the change.

I didn’t select th option of safe move $14 online. When coming in store for picking up, the guy checked the option for me without my consent. I have no idea and jus paid for it

Service person was very nice and professional and knowledgiable about how to use equipment.

The person who helped me had a little bit of an attitude because they close at 1pm and are closed on Sunday. Told me to call whoever I talked to and fix the drop off location or he can’t hand me the keys. Took 30 minutes from my 11:30am reservation before I finally got the keys. But after I made the phone call he was nice and polite. Working can be stressful at times, but each customer should be treated as their first customer.
