I was promised a truck at Weston. I was 20 min late and they gave the truck away. I-haul then offered a truck 15min es away which then I had to drop off at same location and then had to pay the miles. Not complaining about Miami garden location. Mostly Weston and the fact I had to pay for 30 miles.

Robert A.This was our worst u-haul experience by far. Spoiler: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! When we arrived we saw people sitting and loitering on our truck. It made us very uncomfortable as this is not an area we have been and the business was not even open. We arrived at roughly around 7:10AM and the business hours started at 7AM. The business did not open for about another 15/20 minutes. We were not even able to access our truck until 20 minutes+ after our reservation because there was nobody in the business. When we did finally receive our keys, the clerk informed us there was no furniture pads and we will not be charged. This is funny because they ended up charging us for a dolly we never even received. When we finally got to the truck, there were still many people loitering. We then started it and went to see the bed. Now let me tell you, this was the most DISGUSTING truck I have ever seen. First off, the SMELL. The smell was so horrid and pungent you could smell it without even being near gate! I gagged several times when even looking into the truck bed. I wish you could smell it, it was actually surprising because it was so disgusting but unlike anything I have ever smelt. Not only that, but it was absolutely FILTHY! There was dirt? sand? glass? all over the floor. We aren't even sure what it was because we saw what appeared to be food (chicken maybe?) on the floor as well, so who really knows what it was. There was also left over items. There were strings, latches, rope, and a pair of sunglasses left behind! That means not only did the previous customer not clean (more like had a party) but the store did not even care to check or clean the truck in the slightest. I mean cmon there were literally sunglasses hanging there… The cabin was also a mess. There was drink spillage and sticky substances everywhere. Unfortunately, we literally had to still rent it as there were no other places/trucks available. We deeply regret it as now our furniture is ruined since it got so dirty from the bed. When we dropped off the truck there was even more people loitering. Also when we tried to let an employee know that the truck was filthy when received, she couldn't be bothered with it. It seemed as though WE were bothering HER for even talking to her! She just shrugged us off saying we are going to have to pay for a cleaning fee. Literally could not care less about our experience or being customers at all. Oh and just to let everyone know, be prepared if you go here. This place is a corner store that offers U-haul. It is NOT a moving store. I did not see any moving equipment or supplies, so make sure you already have everything you need. Overall this places was horrid and we do NOT recommend this place to anyone. The employees couldn't care less about you, the equipment is disgusting, the area is just odd, and it doesn't even have moving supplies. The whole experience was stressful and just horrible. God I truly wish I could turn back time so that I never had to have this experience.

Talib N.I had difficulty finding the UHaul person because its inside a busy store. There was no UHaul signage and your representative was doing other tasks besides UHaul. While performing the paperwork and payment your rep left me twice to wait on other customers not UHaul related. I was however very satisfied with the vehicle.

Neil L.Inside driver's compartment was nasty! Gas tank was almost empty and did not record it. Clerk stated everything was loaded, but none of the equipment paid for was in truck. Have truck topped off, equipment paid for and ensure vehicle is clean.

Juan S.The original location where I created the appointment for didn't have my vehicle after a 2 day reservation was created. The location that I was sent to was able to provide the vehicle, however. The location was a corner store in which I would've NEVER chose that location & the vehicle was not only riddled with claim stickers, the passenger sideview mirror was shattered, the front passenger side was missing part of the bumper & the truck bed door was smashed. I wouldn't have reserved that vehicle or chose the location.
Tiffany W.First off, I was given a call 15mins prior to pick up that the truck battery for my rental was dead. I was already halfway there. It was the last day of the month so time was crucial! The agent calling didn't do the research to know that the nearest location was not convenient. I had to remind her where I lived and I helped her find me the next closest location. I chose the closest bc obviously you charge for miles. I had to drive twice the distance(not about cost but convenience). Hence it wasn't a horrible experience just not as smooth as I planned and I returned the truck the same day as courtesy for youre other customers instead of holding the truck 24hrs. Would be nice to know that this survey will actually help future customers.

MICHAEL M.i was NOT given a receipt upon my return of the truck that i rented. this turned out to be the biggest mistake every cause now i constantly get billing notifications of a new balance due. this was suppose to be an $80 rental for 2 hours. im now close to paying $200. i will never use this company again absolutely horrifying experience with you.

Unit its old and direction did not run properly on the road. owner /operator did not wanted to switch the unit for another ( saw 3 units on premises) VERY UNHAPPY whit this unit and location Next time gonna go with PENSKE

RAUL R.10 minutes before I got to location I was told there was a 15 foot available, when I arrived it was there but I was told that it was not available, so I took the 17 footer, then the miles on the paper work was less then on the odometer, third and last insurance was placed with out giving me the option to use my 3 different insurance coverages that I have . Will never rent there again.
