I was charged for insurance when I did not request it. Also, I was not told I would be charged a full day if I returned the truck late. I could have used it instead of my own vehicle the rest of the day!Eula N.

STOP using this location. The advertised business hours are 8-6. Before my pickup someone called me the day before and confirmed these hours available for pickup. I got there at 1pm and was told by a mechanic working there that the guy and only guy that can process Uhual was out for lunch and was coming back in ONE and a HALF hours. I am from Mexico and have not seen that happen in a public establishment in my lifetime there. Siesta time was a thing until the 80s. What bothers me is not that he went to eat lunch, please go ahead....but make sure someone can run your business while you are out. I left....went for lunch...waited and then headed back to Palacios Autocare for my Uhaul at the advised 2:30 time. Guess what? The guy had not come back yet and was told I could call him on his cell. I did, and he told me he would be right there in 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes turned to almost 30. When he got there, no apologies at all no introduction of who he was at all, just nothing. Clearly he was doing ME a HUGE favor by being there and fulfilling my customer order. The Uhaul was very dirty, so much that I had to actually wash it in order to be able to see properly through the windshield and use the mirrors.SANTIAGO A.

Train more than one person to use the computer so when the manager is not there, orders can still be taken care of. Only one mechanic was working when I went and he really did not want to be bothered with something that was not his job.David A.
There needs to be a sign saying it is a U-haul rental facility viewable from the street. There needs to be a sign on the building above the entrance to the mechanic's shop who is renting out the U-haul equipment. The man who owns the business was wonderful and helpful.Colette B.

Unfortunately, the area has received a lot of rain which made the location very unpleasant. Had to drive through a semi-trailer lot, all the way to a corner to retrieve the trailer. It was muddy and slipping and sliding. We signed the paper work up front and they sent us out to get the trailer ourselves which included moving a couple of UHAUL trailers to get to the one we needed. Very inconsiderate of client's needs and bad location. Will never rent from UHAUL if they send us back to pick up at this location. If I, a female, was by myself, I would have left. No way was I going to be moving those trailers to get to mine. Unacceptable. My husband was with me but even then it wasn't easy.ELIZABETH H.

It would be more convenient if you would rent trailer hitches and offer installation. I had to buy a hitch and pay for installation for a one way trip. Now I own a hitch that I have no use for. Otherwise, your staff and equipment are great.kathleen S.

the agent was 2 hours late for my appointment. the truck was parked in a very far area. had an auto transport that i did not rent connected to truck, and when i informed agent about it he said just take it!!! and 3 hours later he called me back saying why did you take my auto-transport!!! the worst experience ever! the agent did not even speak English well to assist me.AMIN A.

This location has a mud driveway and was highly inaccessible. The first dolly's rear lights were hanging out the sockets. They provided us with another one, but this one had highly corroded and rusted ratchets. It was nearly impossible to work the ratchets and tighten the straps on the dolly.Denver C.

We could not locate the drop box to be able to leave the key. We had to go by the next morning to drop off the key even though we dropped of the truck since 9/2/13 around 8:30pm. The drop box needs to be made accessible for customers.GABRIEL JR V.
