Van was not clean front or back and had to ask for them to send someone to clean it which prolonged us from leaving. Charge for insurance which was not requested or even asked if I wanted. Talk to this third party site for better cleanness.VerLisia W.

Not happy with the fact that the fuel pump was not working properly, gas leaked out from the bottom so it caused us to waste the money we put in which was maybe $9 (we had to put $25) but still not something pleasant to experience. Not only that happened, it took time from us using the uhaul since we had such limited time. I requested from 12-8pm to find out it closes at 6pm. What is the point of requesting a time if that is not how long the place is open? We were only able to do two trips because of the gas problem. All it did was cause a lot of stress and I literally got sick from being overworked due to do such little time.Ashley V.

I am actually waiting to hear back from someone name Jose Sanchez about the fact that the truck went haywire and I could not control it and it almost tipped over. It felt like the steering wheel somehow got disconnected from the rest of the truck. I was holding the steering wheel straight but the truck was waving through lanes. From talking to someone at a Uhaul location I took it to get it checked out there was no power steering fluid in the truck. When I called the place I rented the truck from, he was just saying no one had complained about the truck. Jose has called once to ask questions and follow up, I know he still needs to talk to everyone involved. With everyone I've dealt with so far only two people seem to care about what happened. The guy that helped me out at the uhaul center and the lady I spoke with when I called the customer service line. The person I rented the truck from is just saying the truck was fine before I got it and to call the Uhaul customer line. Jose seeemed to be more concerned about the miles I put on the truck then the incident. He did mentioned he was going get the van checked out, but he seem to put more emphasis on the miles being charged and I was responsible to cover them and the late charges I was told I may get, which lucky I didnt get charged. This could have been a lot worse, I'm glad it was at a time when there were only two other cars on the road and the truck didn't tip over. One was able to get pass me and the other was my wife who was seeing me almost get into an accident. Moving is already stressful, but Uhaul made it worse by not keeping up with the maintenance on a truck.Jose H.
We had to wait 3 and a half hours to pick up because the location was no open during our pickup time. Due to the delay we were then charged an extra day of rental because we went 9 minutes over past midnight. The delay was caused due to the location not being open and I still have to pay for it.Erick M.

I'm am extremely upset with the fact that you are price gauging. I will be reporting this. There was not an agreed amount for gas refill and I wasn't informed of the refill fee ahead of time. Gas is $2.40 per gallon right now and I was charged $4.75 per gallon.Jose A.

No improvements needed! Everything especially the customer service was excellent! I told them they should advertise because they were the first U-Hauls I have a rented that came with a middle seat, a large utility dolly, an attached lock with a key, and a few moving blankets. All for free! There's also another dolly available for a fee, I assume. They made my U-Haul experience and my moving experience more convenient! Thank you, Steve!Darian C.

Uhaul has a new automated system. Everything was done while the business was closed with use of a smart phone. Very easy process. Had a glitch in billing but Jose researched and handled it. Great customer service. Love this automated system.Patricia S.

The location would not accept the keys because they said that they no longer service UHaul. So, I was unable to return the vehicle. However, I had already completed the online checkout so I was unable to change my location. When I tried contacted Uhaul over the phone, no representative picked up and I was on automated hold for 30 min, then the machine hung up on me. This happened twice. I have still yet to be able to reach Uhaul.Alvin P.

I reseved a few dollies and a pack of blanket but they weren't available when I got the truck. The guy told me I could get them from one of the Uhual office which he did not verify for me because the office did not have them either. All these caused me the extra time and extra mileage that are below as a satisfatory customer service. I made a reservation 3 weeks ago and it was only one day before my pick-up date that I got a text message stating "your truck won't be available at the time you reserved but later at noon. Sorry." That was all I got on a reservation that I did 3 weeks ago. I would give negative rating for the customer service. I don't know how this type of service can still be in business.Ike T.
