I was unable to use the car dolly because the bindings were froze closed. It was too darn cold to waste effort and I just chocked up the wasted fee. They need a heated garage somewhere on the location to thaw out their equipment. And if it’s in this condition, better communication would be nice.

We were charged $150 for a crack in the windshield and we didn’t even do it. When I pleaded our innocence the Manager basically called me a liar. I will never use U-Haul again.

How many times would you like me to write about the miserable experience with your company? Again, you changed the drop off site from our town in Brown Deer to Wauwatosa and after I left my credit card information you made the driver give his credit card information which held them up over 30 minutes. Can you run a your company any worse? I’m disappointed and I’m telling everyone I know about this.

The customer service at this location was A1+++!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff member. The equipment was clean, and appeared to be well maintained. One area of concern that has nothing to do with this location, is that the trailers no longer have jacks connected to them. I understand the lack of a Jack is likely due to high theft of the trailers, also as I was told it was for the safety of the customer so they don’t disconnect the trailer and then reconnect it improperly to prevent a safety issue. But there are situations where the Jack would also be necessary for the safety of the customer if for example they had a tire blow out on their tow vehicle and had to change the tire using the vehicles provided scissor Jack which is very weak and not rated to lift the trailer connected to the vehicle. Or if the customer needed to have their vehicle towed or serviced in another way that required the trailer to be disconnected. That’s my two cents! I would definitely rent from this location again 10/10 thank you!

The staff was so friendly and helpful and everything was ready for me to go. Also, returning the van was great as I was in a hurry (my husband has Parkinson's Disease and he was waiting for me at home). They took care of everything. It was a very good experience and I would recommend them to any and all.

Better signage of where to return the rentals. Give Liz at the front desk a huge raise in pay because she is the best at what she does for this location. And give her a better desk and chair to use. She looked so uncomfortable when we arrived.

The Uhaul App/mobile check-in/out is incredibly frustrating - I gained access to the truck, but was not able to complete the check-in process without calling. Returning the truck was similarly difficult - the app stopped working without confirming to me that the return process was complete.

This was the worse experience I’ve ever had renting. I used the after hours pick up feature where all it was supposed to take was pulling up the app and following the process. When I arrived for pick up, the app didn’t work. I sat in the parking lot for 50 minutes trying to get the app to load and on the phone with customer service. When I arrived to drop the truck off, the app did not work again and took multiple attempts to finally compete the drop off. 0/10 stars, horrible experience.

There is a policy about sweeping the truck out after use. Cool I get it but my truck had several wood chips in the back when I got to my location and opened it up. No biggie I swept the back before returning it but if you charge if it’s not done you should be sweeping it before the next customer. Also the lady I returned my key to on the 30th was rude. Yes I took out a pole on the corner but there was another Uhaul parked to close in my turning radius. These are large box vans that don’t turn on a dime. Give room for customers to maneuver or mark out a safe parking spot where this is not an issue. She was rude when she walked up to me and just blurted out in a demanding tone I would have to pay for that. I promptly told her no there is a uhaul obstructing the turn and I took out insurance as well as there was no damage to the truck. She then huffed and rummaged around her side office and the front office looking for papers. She then got on the computer and said oh you do have the insurance I guess you can go and if we have any other questions we will call. She could have allowed me to leave and not stand around as she huffed and puffed looking for info she could find on her computer in seconds. I didn’t need to stand around for nothing. If I need a uhaul again I might return for my 3rd time and if I do I’ll only deal with the nice lady behind the glass window not the rude short lady in the office to the left.

I feel I was over charged. Uhaul added another $62.on to my card. I was sent to a location on Broadway whom would not except the Uhaul return on his property, stating he did not have the room for it. I went through a lot of phone calls and talking person to person because I feel they did not want to deal with my situation. I was sent across town to drop off the Uhaul I rented. Thus, adding mileage and using more gas. The tank was just below the 1/4 tank line and would have been right on without overage miles if the first place I went to, would have taken the truck. I don’t think I will ever deal with Uhaul again. Very disappointed.

Be flexible on what size vehicle you may need if you are doing this online, with not much knowledge. When I talked to the staff member about my items I would be moving, they thought a cargo van would be big enough, but absolutely would not have been. I went to a 10x10 truck and it was the perfect size.

The drop off process after hours was cumbersome and long. Your site was not working well (connections were fine). Took me 20 minutes to drop it off and go through the process. Might want to take some notes from car return centers. Also be sure to let customers know they are required to do the equivalent of a wedding photo shoot as proof before turning in their keys. The vehicle only had 3/4 a tank of gas when I picked it up but if you don't select full when you return it you are charged for the difference. Truck was fine, people were great but your corporate processes are lacking in my opinion from a customer experience standpoint. I would still rent and recommend you again but I would give fair warning that the drop off process is long compared to the ease of renting anything else so plan on extra time for your return.

I like this location. I've used their services a few times now. I like going to this location. They are so friendly. I've gone to other uhaul rentals. The staff are all so stiff. Not very friendly no conversation. I know a lot of ppl. like that type of service. For me I enjoy short friendly, polite, conversation too.

The employee was very friendly and polite. I put 4 stars for the fact that when I returned the truck, I filled it with exactly the same volume of tank as when I took it from the site (I took a photo of the dashboard at the beginning). But when I returned the truck, it turned out that the amount of fuel indicated in the return system was more than I actually had, and I had to go to refuel again. I rented a 15' truck, drove 29 miles, and ended up with 8-9 gallons of fuel. Consumption 1 gallon per 3.5 km. I did not press the gas and kept the speed limit.

Trailer had a crushed license plate light, and the rep wanted me to take it 1,000 miles as is. It took me 1.75 hours to get a 4x8 trailer. Finally got sent to the Main Street store in Green Bay where Cody (I believe his name was), had me with a different trailer and on my way in 10 minutes. GO TO THE MAIN STORE IN GREEN BAY!
