Not an issue with the location but U-Haul corporate has room for improvements with many of their logistics. U-Haul had no furniture pads or dolly in the truck as I had ordered so furniture was damaged when moving. Have already talked to corporate about scheduling but truck reservation time was moved 1.5 hours later than I had booked 1 day before my move. This was our original choice of location for drop off, but when Uhaul changed our pickup location they also changed our drop off location unbeknownst to us. When we dropped the truck off here and realized our mistake 3 minutes prior to closing- staff took the time to call and get the drop off location cleared by the Uhaul administration at their hub in Richmond!Gerald H.

The online check in system did not work at ALL. I had to call customer service both when I tried to pick up the vehilcle and when I tried to drop off. Luckily, you have amazing customer service. I was re-assigned this location, which was over 1.5 hours from my home where I needed the items moved from. So 3+ hours of my time to go pick up the truck. At the pick up , she changed my drop-off location form what I had entered online to another drop-off location over ANOTHER 1.5 hours away from where we were moving items to. After NUMEROUS attempts and on hold for over an hour each time to try to get the drop off changed (BTW I never reached anyone by phone or Chat), I attempted to change the drop off online. I was not able to do that either. I dropped off at the location I had pre-selected without any issue. Overall, the pick up location was clean, helpful, and easy to locate. It wasn't her fault over the computer re-assigning me to a different drop-off location due to incoming reservations. It's Customer Service on the phone and chat that are an issue. Plus I'm sure I would have been charged to "extra miles" to drop off at the assigned location over 1.5 hours from my One Way Destination.JACOBCALLAHAN A.

We rented a one way trip and were told after we made the trip that we had to return the truck. The lady on the phone was awful and yelled at us calling us terrible people etc. During the process of picking up the truck( we were sent to an alternate site to pick up the actual truck so that was inconvenient as well) we were never told we had to return the truck to Charlottesville. I requested a call and haven't gotten one. The rental truck was disgusting when we got it. The customer we moved made us clean it throughly, holding us up and costing us money. While our van was in good shape, the customer service upon return was abysmal. We did not realize that we were late to return the vehicle. The clerk did not greet us at the door on arrival or let us know they had been trying to contact us, just demanded the key back. She scolded my husband for late return, saying we had bumped another customer and that we would be charged an extra day and late charge. She did not mention how much and when he requested a receipt she refused to provide one. We won't be returning to this location.PAULMARK L.

There was an error on the fuel level at time of pick-up, which I am working to resolve. There was only 1/2 tank of gas in the vehicle, but paperwork indicated Full tank of gas. I called the Pantops location and they confirmed I should refuel to 1/2 tank prior to return. Final bill included a refueling charge, which is incorrect. I also took a photo of the fuel level and ODOMOTER reading to confirm. I hope this is resolved quickly.CHRISTOPHERKENT S.

charged 171.25 for less than 4.5 hrs use and a cleaning fee, in which the Uhaul was not dirty when returned. I was told it was no problem if after 2:15 pm, to drop the key off in drop box. called to complain and spoke to someone who would check into it and get back to me and haven't heard back.Deborah L.
