The place was completely abandoned, no one was there and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the vehicle there, ended up going to the U-Haul center up the road and the people there were extremely helpful and understanding. Please remove Pacific Highway Mobil from your drop off locations, it was VERY sketchy.Joseph R.

This location was absolutely terrible. It was at a gas station that was not in service and that had homeless people sleeping on the curb and peeing on the gas pumps. There were abandoned cars in the same lot and a lot of trash. This all would have been ok if I did not have to hang out at the location for 3 hours while I was supposed to be setting up my new apartment. This is because the pad lock that I was supposed to lock the keys into the back with was jammed (4 letter code stopped working) and I was stuck on the phone with UHaul until they came up with a solution. I also lost $25 in gas, as I went to the pump and filled more gas than I used ($10 out of pocket) but was still charged a $15 fee because the odometer wasn't at the exact spot as before. How am I supposed to know how much to fill to get it perfect? Why was I charged an extra $15 while I spent 3 hours in the sun in a dangerous lot because of the pad lock being jammed and none of the phone attendants having any idea how to check out process worked at this location?Ryan M.

Picking up a U-Haul at a remote location was one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a consumer. After setting up a U-Haul account online with my address and credit card, I thought the actual pickup would be smooth. I had the app set up but didn't have location services turned on. It still said I wasn't near the truck even though I was standing next to it in the rain. I used the Safari browser to log in but needed to set up location services for Safari. After I did that, I needed to take a picture of my license front and back on a rainy bumper. A picture of myself and then I needed to set up an alternate contact who needed to answer the call in order for me to access the code for the truck padlock. I entered my wife's phone # but the call comes as Robocall and she doesn't answer. I'm standing in the cold rain while trying to navigate all of this with U-Haul support. 75 minutes after arriving I was able to open the truck. When I rented the truck, I assumed I was picking up the truck at the Tigard center but choosing a simple pick up the truck remotely added a great deal of frustration. I emailed Ben Blair who said he would follow up with me. I have not heard from him. I would rather stand in a 30 minute line indoors instead of the cold and rainy experience I went through. the 4:00 return time is a scam to wring more money out of people. The mobile pick-up option combines indifferent employees with a lousy app. Why couldn't I provide an alternate contact when I made the reservation? The alternate identification option is stupid (who takes their passport to get a U Haul). If I need a truck again I'll be using a different company.Scott W.

The lockbox function did not work for the return. It was very frustrating as I was on a time crunch and had to call for help. Then I was transferred multiple times and finally was told to put the keys in the lockbox and leave it. I did not like doing that. Will NEVER do this type of rental again.Allen H.

Well, there was a scratch on the bumper when I picked it up that had not been marked. Ehm. I imagine that was an oversight or error on the part of the company. I am just glad I checked. Would be much better if I felt that your company "had my back" as they say. I suppose it was fine. Would be better if you had a marked off parking spot.James M.
.Fix bugs in app. .create an easy alternative if the app isn't working(I was told by U-Haul customer service to either take the Rental to a U-Haul location or leave it there and call the U-Haul attendant at their next availability, which would both breech the contract that I signed. She told me that there was nothing that she could do after my 40 mins of waiting and I had to wait again for a manager who was able to help.(I just wanted to send a few pics so that there was record of me leaving the truck there in good shape)Adam F.
