The "Find My Location" feature would not work when I was trying to return the vehicle after hours, which held me up from processing the return. Had to use another phone. Suggest adding an option to manually enter the address/location of return to enable a user to finish the return process.Duane R.

Oyster Cove Boatworks Southside 1309 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23454 is a New owner of this Uhaul location however it is without question this IS Uhauls best rental location on the eastern seaboard. After renting all sizes of trailers and trucks over 20 times in the past 2 years from Virginia Beach, Hampton, Philly, DC, Florida and New Jersey this shop has consistently been flawless providing perfect personal costumer service, greatest understanding of UHaul's business statement and providing quality products by thoroughly inspecting Uhauls fleet before delivery. My wife and I greatly thank these ladies for their consistent dedication to both the business they work for and their costumers. Well done, keep it going!Matthew W.

Your 24 hour policy is contradictory. You can't state you rent a U-Haul for 24 hours then say â€œ well you told us you would bring it back by 4pm- so now we are going to charge you extraâ€. When I checked out the truck at 9 am. This is complete nonsense. I will be filing a formal complaint with U-Haul.Jeffrey T.

The location was easy to find with trucks near the road. The workers were helpful and friendly. I have had some bad experiences in the last few years (empty gas, missing gas cap, rough engine, no truck at appointed location) so was very happy when my entire experience was easy. My reservation was move from the VA beach "Town Center" location the same morning to this one because the other location did not have one available in the size that I needed. They were awful in how they handled the transfer and I was in no way compensated or even apologized to for the inconvenience. However when I got to the location above,the contactless check-in/Drop off was seamless. Deborah was a gem. She was attentive and professional. She even make sure I understood my bill properly before charging me for additional stuff.Audravette J.

The a/c didn't work and there was no way to get a complaint filed. The 800 phone said it was 18 minutes before someone would talk to me and the online system didn't have a suitable optionDAVIDLAWRENCE F.

Overall, entire experience was average-below average. The associates at each location I've been going to during this process wasn't very friendly or helpful. I've personally never towed a uhaul trailer, so naturally I had a lot of questions and concerns. It would be nice for staff to share knowledge without making me feel as if I'm bothering them or my questions are stupid. I also had a hitch installed at the Raby Road location in Norfolk, VA. I arrived for my appointment and they told me they didn't even have the part. No one called or got in touch with me to let me know. They did make up for this by getting the part from Richmond that day, but never even put the ball on which was an issue when I went to get the trailer hitched on. The truck's engine failed when we tried to return it. On the highway no less! Terribly dangerous situation to be in. We managed to get it to turn back on and drove straight to the U-Haul location. Due to this we were unable to refill the truck's fuel. Rather than acknowledge that this was their fault and waive the gas refill charge, we were treated as though we intentionally did not refill the gas and were charged for it even though the check engine light was on and the incessant beeping in the truck hadn't stopped. I'm very disappointed in U-Haul. It did not hold up its end of the contract to provide properly maintained equipment and yet we were expected to! Never againKWABENA A.
