Van was clean on the interior but the exterior was dirty. It had not rained for at least 5 days prior to the rental so there was adequate time for a wash. The radio was not working. People were friendly.

Alexander MachtI was heavily overcharged I only drove the uhaul for 30 miles and was charged $157, the movers that I booked with uhaul broke my couch and didn't have any tools to dissemble my bed. They promised they would go back and get the bed but bailed. I waited close to 2 hours for them to arrive at the second location. Then had to go disassemble my bed myself despite me paying them extra. The process to return the Uhaul was also not straight forward and tedious. There was a lot of distressed involved with this move and I’m definitely not going to use uhaul nor movers associated with uhaul again.

Brad SandersThe van wouldn’t start once it was loaded. We got stuck in the pouring rain at night in the storage place lot and had to leave the van fully loaded overnight. We had to come back the next day while some fixed the van once again in the pouring rain. We couldn’t even unload the van until my son got of from work so once again we were out working hard to move until 9at night! I’m 66 years old it’s is taking me days to recuperate as I am the only caregiver to my special needs 70 years old cousin. My body just cannot take the strain anymore. I feel worse for my sons who had to work both days, They were exhausted!!

Harry AlpernI reserved a 15 ft truck paid for a 15 truck .Got there they have a small truck for $19.95 .I really needed the bigger truck .the tires were not filled right .I had to tell them twice about the tire pressure. They filled the tires .I was there for almost 40 minutes. The owner kept saying he was going to cancel my order .but if he did I would not of been able to rent another truck at another U-Haul place just because of the time of day. It was already after 6pm and the place would of been closed. And I really needed the truck for that evening.My Mom had passed away and I was donating her belongings.i only had help that evening to load the truck. And I had work the next day. And return the truck by 12 pm so with that being said having the smaller truck I had to go back and forth a couple of trips .if I would of had the truck I requested I could of gotten everything in one trip. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Hillary LeeThe location itself was fine but my whole over all experience with UHAUL was awful. It started with booking, I booked online prior to my rental because I was moving. First, 2 days before my move I got a phone call stating that there was NO trucks in my area in the size I needed. They basically told me it was the smaller truck or nothing. At this point I had no choice but to take it. Next the day of my booking a get a text that my location of pick up had changed and the time was changed for 8am to 10am because the location did not open until 10:00am. Again big problem for me because I was moving for New York to Philly. I called customer service to ask them why they had changed my location and they stated they didn’t have any trucks available in the location I booked. So I had to postpone my move 2 hours and go 25 minutes out of my way to pick up a truck. When I got the location to get the truck, I did all the paper work for them to tell me that they didn’t have the two furniture dolly’s I had rented. So now I had to go to home depot and rent dolly’s on top of it all which delayed my move another half hour. When I called customer service the second time I waited on hold for 19 minutes only to be hung up and transferred back to hold for another 39 minutes. This whole experience was an absolute nightmare. I will never ever ever use U-Haul again. They are unreliable and service is horrible.
Steven trifilioThe owners of this facility was nice and very professional. My reservation was in the system and I was given the contract via an email on my phone. Pretty easy. The owner, Alvin, explained everything to me about the start up of the 15' foot truck (turn off the tow/haul button), the gas tank and 11ft height clearance before I drove off.

I spent 15 minutes trying to upload an odometer and fuel gauge photo and was about to just give up and leave without doing the return at all. Thankfully the gentleman that checked me out in the morning returned with some additional trucks and was able to handle the return for me. Even he acknowledged the app is sub par. Please fix the photo submitting issue. For example, if after 5 tries isn't working, allow the user to continue without it or something.

Edible ArrangementsWillowGrI was charged $14.00 safe move insurance and I declined this additional fee on U-Haul Contract 92902627 while in the dealers office. I had a witnessed with me when I declined this addition fee. ALSO I was not informed of the "destination miles" which I went over. This is my fault for not reading the U-Haul contract prior to leaving the pick-up location. This entire U-Haul experience from originally making the reservation via the phone through the 800 line representative through the being charged an additional $14 was horrible I promise not to use U-Haul in the future. You telephone operators are rude and lack listening or problem solving skills. Last time I do business with this company. Budget was cheaper and I stay with what I thought was a reputable company.
