No one available at site from U-Haul. The number to call on window outside did not ring thru. It took a lot longer than expected to pick up truck. Not very organized!

Mary MHad a little trouble with the app, it was not capturing pictures and then kind of closed on me during check out. Was able to call and confirm the check out went through but was a little hard to navigate.
William Fspecifically asked for in person pick up and drop off and both times no one was there and had to figure everything out myself. trucks locks get stuck so it was a hell of a time getting in the damn thing. worst uhaul experience i’ve had and i use uhaul frequently. staff needs to do their jobs the right way and not dump their responsibilities on customers!
John MClean and better maintained vehicles. Our van died twice because of which we lost hours waiting to jump start the van.
FEBIN SThe worst experience renting a vehicle I ever experienced. The truck broke down before I reached my pick up destination. The linkage from the steering column shifter to the transmission fell out. I was lucky enough to rig it with stuff I found on the side of the road to get it back in gear and to make it to a home depot to buy proper bolt and locking nut to make it back to the drop off location. But that isnt the worst part of the story. Owles Nest refunded my money when I complained but after a few days they put the charge back through to my credit card. Now I'm spending time in a dispute with my credit card company. DO NOT rent from these people. Go with another company for your rental needs. Seriously, it's such a hassle.
Steve MGPS location for remote pickup did not work, uHaul contacts for location did not answer, took 35 minutes to pickup the truck. Was not even the requested reservation location.
Greg SNot so much the location as my overall experience. This was not the pickup location I booked. I booked one that had a counter that I could speak with someone. This location was changed unbeknownst to me as I was enroute to pick up the truck that morning. Having arrived at my booked location they sent me to this unmanned location. Upon return and me filling up the tank higher than when I received it, the work from home person is trying to charge me for 2 gallons of gas I did not use. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Robert DNo clear instructions on site to indicate where you should go and where the lock box is located for the keys. This leads to confusion on what you should do which leads to wasting time when you’re trying to get stuff done.
Sam BNo improvements necessary except for a larger UHaul sign on the front of the building. Gail did an excellent job of processing the transaction and keeping us posted on what was to be expected. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with.

Teresa PRented a dolly and want informed that there wasn’t one until time of pickup.. was told that I could rent one at another location- was not given options of where.. I had furniture that weighed more than 150lbs. It was more than a major issue moving- it took nearly 3 tine the time to be able to manouvre the pieces. The had to pay for additional rental time for the time over scheduled.

Gwendolyn WU-Haul agents were forthcoming and helpful in a situation where the app did not work for us. Question concerning charge for 2 days, we rented by 8:30 am and returned before 8 pm same day, isn't that a one-day rental?

Luz WMy problem which I believe needs to be addressed corporately is that I ordered my truck a week in advance so I could pick the truck up at the owls nest which is less than a mile from my house. The day before I was set to pick it up. I got a message saying that I could pick up the truck in Philadelphia before I was driving to New Hampshire. Because of the inconvenience they would let me to have a few extra miles for free totally disregarding that it would add two hours to my trip and leave me with a problem because my car would now be in Philadelphia even though I live in Bucks County when I returned by train since it was a one-way drop off Corporately you had me driving past 23 U-Haul dealers to get to this location to pick up a 10 foot box truck. Clearly something is going on to prompt that action and it is not the focus of what is going to make it best or easiest for the customer , my guess is there must be some monetary reason and frankly it is quite bothersome to think that that would be done. The owls nest helped me through the problem and arranged for the truck to be picked up at their location and the actual process once that happened was quite good but getting to that point was anything but

ALAN EUhaul sent a citation a few weeks after the rental was returned and billing settled. They are claiming that there was an unpaid toll charged to the truck. This is not possible since no where in the short route was the truck driven through a toll or on a toll road. At the time of the claimed toll (11pm) the truck was parked and locked in my driveway. So either the toll company is trying to commit fraud or Uhaul is.
John DA plus service. They closed at 5 but when I got there the owner took care of me n got me going in 10 minutes. Will be back.

Edgar OTruck was very dirty. Cab was not cleaned. There was a cigarette lighter, ashes in the ash tray, boots and a bag of chips in the cab. The back was not swept out. The rear tires on the truck did not appear to be correct as they stuck out past the wheel well, which I believe is illegal in many states. I also ended up getting charged for fuel even though I returned it more fuel than I picked it up with.

Nazariy DGas cap would not unscrew and couldn’t put in the 2-3 gallons it needed to be as I got it. Also a stabilization light went on to service it. Lastly, I couldn’t get internet on my iPhone in the lot to complete the after hours drop off. Thanks. Darryl Puzan PS: Staff was courteous and pick up went very well.

ZACHARY GHi! This was overall a great U-Haul experience, and I've had quite a few. It was not obvious where the odometer reading is located on the dashboard. The vehicle was in need of tire service, so perhaps the error message was temporarily in place of the odometer. Not sure! The vehicle was very clean, but I checked off "no" because of the tire service alert, which made me a little nervous, but was glad to be just driving locally. The guy who handled my check-in was very friendly and laid-back, and would recommend this place to a friend! I would just suggest taking photos of the dashboard before and after using the vehicle, but I would recommend that for any vehicle or truck rental in general. Thanks again!
Elaine PThe truck is shaking when driving. If there was a bump in the road the car flew to one side. It needs work. I wiped Down the steering wheel and seat and the wipe was black when I was done. With Covid I would have expected it to be clean. I had to pick up the truck online and get walked through the process to get the key. No one was there at 9:00 am. Not sure if this is usual or I am not used to it being online but I prefer face to face.
Amy COwles Nest LLC, was very unorganized and not helpful. The most stressful part of my day yesterday was picking up the Uhaul. I was told an employee was supposed to be there, and no one was there, making this process very difficult. I was given the wrong key and passcode 4 times. It would have been so much easier if someone was there to help me. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone.

William PWindshield washer fluid. This is something I have dealt with a many occasions with uhaul over the past 15yrs. Washer fluid is indispensable when there is snow and salt on the roads. Renting a vehicle without it is weak customer service. I am not railing this specific location, more uhaul overall.
JOHN LThe van I rented for one day displayed warnings on the dashboard that the tire pressure monitor was not working and that washer fluid was low- in fact it was empty and the windshield was very dirty. I had to clean it myself. The people working at the location did not seem to know the difference between a dolly, which I ordered, and a hand truck, which was left in the truck. They got it sorted eventually but it took some time. The location appeared to be the site for several businesses; a flag store and a copier/printer rental or repair business in addition to U-Haul.
