Online site said they had a furniture dolly but they didn't have one on hand. Otherwise, they were very professional.
Thomad JamiesonFriendly & helpful ✨ Keep it up!
Chelsea CartwrightSpecifically requested a dolly when booking this rental van. Was told there were no dollies available. Walking out could clearly see that there were at least a dozen dollies in the side storage room after we pulled out of the driveway. Very frustrating.
Sara HappelFirst van I was offered was damaged and lights did not work. Second one had semi bad tires.
Kirsten WebbNothing to improve. Service was excellent.
Mark CiniThey were great and even called us on our way to make sure it all worked out right for our pickup. Nothing to improve here!
STAN BOURNELocation convenient and had overnight parking for car while truck in use. Friendly and fast check-in and check-out. ++ Vehicle had 2 issues that are being investigated: high beams did not stay on and dashboard did not light up at night. Luckily most driving occurred during daylight. Positives: it drove easily and hauled more than anticipated (15') .
Thomas F Watson IIITell them to get pictures before ever leaving the lot with the rental.... As you can not always get hold of the rental location if there is a problem
Sherry ColbyLet people know you have to rent the dolly in advance!
Francine HughesThe movers dropped off the truck at the wrong location even though I told them Washington Street and you charged me an extra $300
CAMILLE GRACECannot think of anything
NANCE EATONNothing really, they were friendly and professional. I enjoyed doing business with them.

Charles MitchellGuest Wi-Fi for better mobile app use. My reception was low and took a while to load pictures on app. But great overall U-Haul experience. Maybe go electric cause those things are thirsty for fuel 🤣
William ChadwickWas quoted inaccurate gas tank level upon pick-up, then charged an extra days rental after returning equipment an hour early.
Becky BundyRental was quick and easy, people were friendly and the return was fast. Will definitely use the Out Ah the Box location again!

Robert CarlisleI Have no complaints with my rental at Out Ah the Box. My complaint is with Corporate Operations, their computer program, rental fees, and lack of corporate intervention and or apologies. To explain: I set up a rental with the corporate web site for PU of car transport at Out Ah the Box. (it is the closest location to me) I got a phone call from corporate that they could not guarantee a PU at that location and recommended a PU at a different location an hour away on county roads. I needed a guarantee so through deliberation I agreed. But corporate set it up for a return to the same location of PU. No, I do not want to travel another 2 hrs round trip to drop off the trailer, so set it up for one way and leave at my local dealer. I went to check in on the corporate web site and saw my rental fee almost doubled. I called my local dealer to see if by chance they got one in. Well guess what! They did and it was not reserved, and they were expecting another one in, the following morning. To save time I told the owner I would reserve it online. I went to the corporate web and canceled my previous rental and attempted to make a reservation for the Auto transport at my local dealer. I was directed to a different dealer because the computer system did not have one available at my requested location. So, I went into my local dealer and did a walk in rental. Saved myself $50 and 4 hours of travel on country roads all because corporate computer program needs updating, and corporate personnel do not have authority and cannot use their brain to save customers $$. Another note re: the computer program, The Owner of my local dealer also commented about the corporate computer program, where she had a pickup scheduled the following day for a truck that had been discontinued for over a year, (17’ and she did not have one on hand anyway) also the PU was scheduled an hour prior to her even being open. With that and more being said, Corporate should have been aware of my local dealers inventory and called me to inform me that the car transport was available. BTW, there was that previously mentioned drop off at my local dealer of another car transport the morning of my scheduled pick up at the dealer an hour away from me. Corporate could have (should have) contacted me about that one as well. Something else too. At a U Haul dealer in another state (Simi Valley U-Haul) 3 years or so ago, I reserved a trailer for PU in the morning at their opening time. Did the online check in, made copies of my drivers license scanned them in with my online check-in. They already had a CC# so according to the online program all I needed to do was to show my license and sign the paperwork to pick up the trailer. Prior to the dealer opening, I drove in the lot where there was a line at the door. By the time I got to the door it had opened and the people had gone in. I went directly to the counter at their designated opening time, and was told there was a person ahead of me that was renting the trailer. and I would have to wait for another trailer. In short this person did not have a reservation and I was told it did not matter that I had a reservation, because he was there before me. What are reservations for, if it was not to be reserved?? Corporate did nothing, I sent in various complaints with all of them being unanswered.
Bart HolmesWhenever I deal with a local outlet of your firm, everything goes smoothly. However, when I place an order through your national 800 number, the same cannot be said.
Scott HazlettI picked up the truck. I drove it approximately 23.8 miles. I drove it from the pick up location to 26 Bonne Terre Rd in Waldo (3.2miles), From there to 25 Perkins Rd. Belfast (8.4 miles), from there to All Purpose Storage in Belfast (3.5 miles), back to the Perkins Rd. (3.5 miles) and then to the drop off location (5.2 miles). Because the truck was not checked in properly with the previous user, I was charged for driving the truck over 200 miles. This is not an insignificant amount of money for me. A field manager is supposed to be contacting me, but I have not heard from anyone.

Adam SmithExcellent customer service. Very friendly and welcoming. The van was clean, good comfort, and carried what we needed. A nice ride. Plus at Ott Ah the Box , there are plenty of food items available to purchase for the road trip !
William G DurkinThe truck would only go straight when you hold the wheel at a “9 o clock” angle. So I had to keep the steering wheel turned the whole 1,600 trip. Also a few hours in the “service Advanctrac” light came on which disabled cruise control, traction control and hill assist.
Mitchell FisherEverything went smooth. Thank you.

Ezra KreamerOur truck reservation was canceled with no advance warning the day of pick up for our cross country move. We were then unable to obtain a truck as no trucks were available in the entire state of Maine. Traffic did find a truck in New Hampshire 6 hours away round trip that was canceled an hour after our reservation by the NH location. Also the cost would have been 4000+ dollars. To put that in perspective professional movers quoted us 4200 to pack, load, drive and unload our things. We ended up renting a cargo trailer and hitching it to my husband’s SUV. We had to leave some of our things in storage requiring us to have to return to pick them up at a future date. This put excessive wear and tear on my husbands vehicle causing his head gasket to blow. The return location for the trailer was an hour away from our home and required us to find help to tow it there as my husband’s vehicle is not operational. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company.
