The original pick-up location was a disaster. Car carrier wheels were frozen, and truck had hole in gas tank, plus no one inspected anything, we were tossed the keys and had the truck and trailer pointed out to us to get. We also had to wait xtra day for a new carrier at a different location. We were also delayed and had to wait to have truck gas tank repaired. 1)1st location a total disaster, 2)2nd pick up location people were nice and helpful. Problems weren't their doing. I feel like I should be given some kind of break in my costs for all the problems. Last, but not the least he moving help I paid Up front for a month in advance called me the day before to let me know they couldn't be there at 9, and would come at 2pm, I told them to forget it. Didn't do me any good that late in the day. Would like to have my money refunded for that also.

This location was open on Sunday and was a life saver because the OTHER location I chose to do app-only check-in DID NOT do its job in getting equipment loaded into my account. I spent OVER an hour with a very nice phone rep (after being on hold for 30 minutes) who did find THIS location for me. The APP and WEBSITE also was NOT working correctly. GET your act together or DO NOT offer remote after-hours check-in until you can make this process better. Moving is stressful enough.

The U-Haul location pick up changed to a location that was 45-1hr from where I lived which was inconvenient. The truck made a lot of different noises during the 16 hour drive and there was only one person in the store and she was helpful as she could be but the drive to get it was inconvenient. The auto transport was so rusted that the representative at the drop off location had to cut the belt.

The young lady that checked us in was incredible!!! We are from Florida moving to Greeley Colorado and she was very helpful given we were not use to the severe cold. When our hitch lock froze she heated up water so we could get it off. Service like what she provided will keep me coming back to uhaul. She deserves a raise/bonus or both

I requested a dolley and there was none when I opened the truck. I had to but one($120) for my move. The check engine light was on the whole time. When I called and told the woman at the location, she said oh well, it'll be ok.....right. I I told her about not having a dolley and she seemed like she didn't understand English all of a sudden. The truck was shaking all over the place when driving it and it was not clean. I've used UHaul in the past with success. This was a horrible experience and I will try to regain from using UHaul in the future.

Truck was dirty - I was WAY overcharged - the estimated cost was less than $70 . I was charged over $ 180 !! I drove less then 25 miles and had the truck less than 5 hours - I have filed a complaint !

I would definitely like people to know to make sure they have it checked in 100% or they will overcharge you at this location. It was turned back in on time and instead of the 60 some dollars I was going to pay I looked at it today because something was wrong in my finances on my card and they overcharged me the final cost was $104.38 this can’t be accurate and this is definitely an unacceptable situation. The lady behind the counter even said she couldn’t move the truck because she had no license that she had it fully checked in when I got there after she pulled my account up and everything my phone call from my ride to bring me my car keys for my vehicle that was left there was at 3:14 PM and when I spoke with the people from customer service at U-Haul they said as long as the truck was there before 315 I would not get charged an additional day or fee I need some answers because this is totally wrong to overcharge someone especially a single father with four children. I need answers.

Don’t trust Karley she a liar and unprofessional if you can go somewhere else to rent a Uhaul,because she says one thing and does nothing to help. She gives her number out and screens them and won’t answer. Worst experience I ever had!!! Won’t rent Uhaul again…

The person at the store did not tell me my total and attempted to charge me a cleaning fee even though the uhaul was dirty when I picked it up. Luckily I recorded it so I was able to avoid that fee. However I dropped off the uhaul 1 hour early and I was charged a late fee. I would suggest to keep an eye on these people they seem to lie to nickel and dime people.

The after hours drop box had no way to gain access to the actual box. The barcode had been peeled off. I had to call customer service (40+ minutes) in order to actually finish drop off.

In order to not block an entrance or exit, I had to park on an uneven dirt surface. This made unhitching the trailer incredibly difficult, due to hitch misalignment and soft soil/dirt surface. Took about half an hour just to disconnect the trailer. This also directly effected the additional fuel burned that I was charged for, even though I filled the tank to the correct line immediately before dropping off the vehicle.

My pick up process was difficult due to employee that did not know how to enter information. Vehicle was very dirty and when I returned it in survey it asked if vehicle was dirty I said yes and it charged me an extra $25 for something I did jot cause. I will never use your service again

My Wi-Fi service would not connect making it very difficult to check the truck in. I believe I was an hour late after trying to contact customer service on Christmas Day. She was very helpful and walked me through the process but it was far to drop it off from our home. Adding another 20 miles … we ended up going over miles allotted. Trip was 244 Actual miles.

The truck was not cleaned out in the back, had broken glass/mirror all over. I cleaned it so I wouldn’t be charged. The truck shook/wobbled SO BADLY when you reached a certain speed that I thought the wheels would fall off!! I almost couldn’t drive it!! I definitely couldn’t drive it over 55mph. It was awful!!

I picked up truck and it had 1/4 tank of fuel. Bed was dirty with gravel. I brought truck back with a 1/2 tank of fuel and got charged a cleaning fee and the bed was wxactly as I found it.

We've rented from this location several times, because it's the closest location. Other locations in our area have nowhere close to the issues this location has. It's common sense to tell the person running the location of issues when you return the truck. On one of the earlier occasions, we returned the truck and mentioned that a windshield wiper blade flew off in the middle of a heavy rain, which we had to pull over in a fairly unsafe location on the shoulder of the highway, because I couldn't see to drive with the heavy rain and a missing windshield wiper blade until the rain passed. The owner of this location was argumentative and tried to imply somehow this was our fault, instead of being professional and saying we'll take care of it, and we're sorry. Another time we rented from this location, we stopped then later got back in the truck and it was completely dead. It turns out someone didn't do something as simple as tighten the battery cable to the battery post and it came loose. Told the owner of the location about this issue, again, the same defensive responses, no accountability. Really bad business person. Another time we rented from this location, I was taking the dolly to the truck, and almost stepped in a huge pile of human feces in between the truck we rented and the one next to it, laying on top of an icy pile of snow. I mentioned it to the owner of this location and pointed it out to him, and he smiled at me and said I know, it's been there a couple of days. So, the owner of this location knows there's a big pile of human feces between 2 of his Uhaul rental trucks and just leaves it there for a customer to potentially step in. Something doesn't add up at this location, and the customer service is horrendous. This most recent experience at this location, the owner's wife or relative wouldn't print us a check in receipt to my wife, came outside with an attitude, ordered me to open the back door and take out the dolly, was divisive and unwilling to check the truck in in a professional manner. That's their job to check in the truck, and lock up the dolly, not mine. Bad look for Uhaul having a business like this represent your company. I'm fairly certain the people who run this run down gas station have intentionally treated us badly after we mentioned some of the issues with the trucks we have rented. I told the owner after renting on one occasion, look, I'm not trying to hurt you, I'm trying to help you, if someone gets in an accident because of faulty equipment, you're going to wind up being sued. He said, laughing, not me, Uhaul. Either way, I would think that someone who has a contract with Uhaul and is representing them, would care a little bit more about what condition their trucks are being rented in, and actually try to care about fixing the issue. Obviously, whichever mechanic is tasked with repairing the trucks at this location isn't doing a good job, when you have simple issues like a windshield wiper flying off in a rain squal, or a loose battery cable. The trucks rented from this location don't feel tight like the other locations in Greeley we have rented from. I quite honestly, feel like we have been treated poorly by this location for mentioning issues with the trucks they have rented, when there has been an issue. Human Feces between 2 Uhaul trucks and the one he rented to us, and he said he knew about, almost seems malicious and intentional. Why would you rent a truck that you knew their was human feces right next to the driver's side door, and not clean it up, before renting it? The other further locations we've rented from in Greeley, absolutely no issues like this. I don't know what's wrong with this location, but I won't be doing business here anymore. The only reason we've rented from this location, is because it's the closest location with availability, but other than that It's a horrendous location to rent from. Good business people hold themselves accountable and work to correct mistakes. Bad business people blame, obfuscate and make the customer not want to do business with them anymore. That's what this location has done!!! Please don't take your customers for granted, just because Uhaul is everywhere, doesn't mean it will always be on top. Just like Uber put a huge dent in the traditional Taxi Cab business (because of poor customer service), someone may come along, that has a customer service centric business model, and then you lose business fast. Customer service is huge, when people think of who they want to do business with. Price, convenience, location, availability also play a key role, but other than that and if it was relying on customer service alone, horrendous customer service. Go into this location and rent a truck, then go to the local Enterprise and tell me the difference in customer service. It's huge, and Uhaul gets an F for this location. The other locations the customer service is adequate, nothing great, but adequate, with well maintained trucks so far. I don't know what the issue is with this run down gas station location, but it needs to be addressed, in my strong opinion.

They double charged me for no reason had the trailer back before my time. The guy behind the counter didn’t check my setup before I towed and put my shit In late to double charge me. I’m working on fighting this with uhaul and will update my review once resolved

The right light on the dolly was dangling out of the fender. Other than that I think everything worked. The small convenience store where the U-haul rep is located was disgusting. I made the rental of the dolly for one way to Tucson. Plans changed and my daughter decided to leave the car so we did not need the dolly. I returned it the next day and explained my situation. They returned the money for the rental except for 45.00. A full refund would have been more appropriate for my situation.

They never checked the truck out before we used it, the gas was barely over half when we got it, put more gas in it then what we got when we rented it, and still charged me more money, I didn't rent any equipment, but they tried to charge me for a dolly and a furniture dolly that was left in the back of the truck before we used it. People in the store where rude asf and didn't want to help us... kept helping other customers before even tho we were there before them... never again will I use this store...

You could start by not overcharging then not calling for a dispute. Also, when I scheduled a callback to get this sorted I got a callback from the wrong department and had to stay on hold for over 30 minutes?! Almost seemed like you were just trying to wait me out with all the hoops I had to jump through for resolution.

I showed up and the lady insisted she had no truck for me as the truck I had rented was broken. I was turned away and had to call uhaul customer service to find out that the truck wasn't actually broken, the lady just didn't mark it returned or something. Added 1 hour of bullshit to a very long day already and I'm not happy about it at all. Uhaul needs to sever ties with this location.

Truck has mechanical issues. It was difficult to pick up the truck because of some confusion on behalf of the staff. It was not clean when I rented it. Yet when I returned it after cleaning out my belongings, the representative did not want to review the truck and close out my account. Rather he said I would receive an email. To my distress,I was charged an unexpected $25 cleaning fee!

The owners were very helpful with both checking out the rental and especially when returning it and the UHaul website was down. Not a full service UHaul store, but it was convenient for me, and they did have the van I reserved and a couple other trucks.

I had a rental for 6:30am for a mobile rental. The website would not let me check in, because they didn’t open until 8am. We left and came back at 8. The employee started they opened at 7-totally contradicting all info. I told him I had a mobile reservation with mobile pick up. And he said yeah we open at 7. Not to mention we had reserved until 2:30, but had to plan for the lost time. Super disappointed.

Very poor experience. I had the truck for less then 3 hours and was charged for 2 days. Was also charged a cleaning fee when all I did was put a brand new couch wrapped in plastic in the back. Called the dealer and was given attitude and a customer service phone number. Rep told me to expect a call from a manager in 10 min and never received a call. I will never use Uhaul services again if this is how they treat customers. I thought they were a very reputable company before this.

The van was a mess, liquid spots from something being spilled in the interior, something sticky in the interior, USB port didn't work, smelled like cigarette smoke, very dirty inside and out. Covered in snow, nothing available to wipe it off. Could definitely use a cleaning inside and out.

Uhaul needs to make sure the locations have a better understanding of their trailer hitches. The 6x12 trailer I rented had a screw on style hitch. The hitch continuously loosened even after tightening with a pipe wrench. I like Uhaul but wouldn’t recommend that trailer to anyone with that style hitch. The little store had a great staff and I informed them of this but hope Uhaul takes care of this or the trailer will come loose and injure someone

The merchant claimed he added insurance yet didn't when I called the customer service phone number they confirmed that there was no insurance. The merchant was extremely rude and after I complained about the insurance he threatened me that he would flag my ID so I can never get a UHaul again.

Loved that they had what I needed available and I was able to pick it up right away. Customer service was good- was confused by the half tank of gas (was plenty for the short trips I was making) but I had never rented one without a full tank to start. I returned it with a half tank as well as a result

When I got to location to pick up the U-Haul the lady didn’t know what she was doing. She asked for me to cancel my reservation. I canceled my reservation, then I redid my reservation. Didn’t work, she tried doing it on her end. she couldn’t do it. I tried again, it still wouldn’t work so I canceled it. I finally I called one 800 U-Haul they helped a lot. I set up the reservation through them. I was there almost 2 hours after I called it fixed it.

The issue I had was not directly then vendors fault however I do not feel it was mine either. When returning the vehicle i did as instructed and filled Gas to slightly above the fuel level but when parking the vehicle the path to park the vehicle was buried in aprox 6-9 inches of snow and had not been cleared in any way I approached the parking spot and immediately got stuck for aprox. 20 mins then I after freezing the vehicle I attempted the only other route and again got for aprox 30 min. I fueled the vehicle up onsite but while attempting get the vehicle unstuck it used more gas then unused during the entire rental period of aprox 20 miles round trip plus what I had just put in I do not think I should be required to pay for this mishap not penalized. I will be paying a visit to the attendant I rented the vehicle from in the morning. I would like to be contacted my ph number is 9708880987 please and thank you

The Clerk/agent immediately pointed and said ohhh you're the one. Another customer was asking what she ment by that as the clerk was handing me a mask. Then days COVID, Immediately causing the customer to Shrek away from me. I felt ostracized, I had 0 options, I tested positive and had severe symptoms that left me incapacitated for 5 days. I feel like there was no concern for my well being. No consideration for the fact that maybe I had no income while Ill. There has to be some way of absorbing some cost at price you pay in losing loyalty. I won't recommend.

Then Mobile check in was a nightmare! I had to constantly resend verification codes in order to login in. 4 of them didn’t work and when we went to take it back I had to load all my kids up to drop off the vehicle because it was not working on his phone/email. You guys have to call and verify 2 people? It was a nightmare and this is the 3rd time we’ve used uhaul and it’s been a bad experience. Safe to say we will never be using Uhaul services again!

It’s a rough road to get to the location & there wasn’t any assistance to load the dolly or back out the truck for the first time. The truck was pretty dirty so had to clean it out before taking it on the long road trip. You can tell that some of it won’t clean simply from being poorly maintained.

The owners do not speak good English and have a hard time communicating. I ended up getting over charged $122 for fuel (at $24.95/gal) which I am disputing.. I drove less than 15 miles which is about 1 gallon according the owner.. his wife told me he would call me in 2 hours to discuss the issue.. I ended up having to go back to the place 5 hours later just to talk to him..he never called. The truck had less than a half tank when I picked it up and I put $20 worth of gas in it when I returned it so it had MORE fuel than when I picked it up... They are nice people but blamed the computer system for the mishap.. He said he would call Uhaul Wed to get the issue fixed and then would call me....we shall see...

My husband dropped off the uhaul. It was brand new. Just a little ver 8900 miles. It was spot less front and back. But we were charged a 25.00 cleaning fee. No explanation. I would like to know why.
