When returned, I learned that the trailer was not installed correctly by the location attendant. The person at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Route 16 Medford / Somerville said "It could have killed someone". The attendant at the return location was appalled and directed me to report this event. I drove nearly 800 miles with a trailer that was not safe. Highly concerned and would like a response if possible. Gracias.Grace B.

Truck's cargo area was not swept out prior to my picking it up. Driver's area of truck had odd odor and had cardboard stuffed behind seats. Ordered 6 furniture pads, but they only had one in stock. People at rental location were pleasant, though.David S.

This location is a third party seller. The outside is a gas station , Once inside it's a convenient store, pizza restaurant, and uhaul pick up. This location is unprofessional and horrible customer service. Lastly I had to return the vehicle back to the same location (that was a given due to it being a 3rd party ) when I returned the vehicle the employer didn't check the vehicle nor walk around because he had a long line behind me which caused him to key in the vehicle information the next morning and he typed in the wrong mileage. Never had a problem with Uhaul before but I will NEVER!!!!! use a 3rd party seller again.Keehyn Aki F.
The attendant was late. He did not arrive until 30 minutes past my rental time. This also occurred with the same attendant on a different day that I rented from this location. I will not rent from this location in the future.Colleen K.

Truck was filthy trash in trailer and up front. Had problems with mobile sign in. Mobile app wouldn't approve me called uhaul was on hold for 20 min. When i do get someone they can't help so i get transfered again was on hold for another 20 to 30 min. Just a horrible pick up experience. Also the truck was literally on E.Walter B.

I had to be at pick up location at 8:30am. I had my rental in for 8am. The clerk was late. Didn't show until 8:15, with his Dunkin' Donuts as he sat in his car for 2 mins before coming in. Very dissapointed because getting to pick up location someone had already picked up the couch I wanted, so I rented the truck for nothing. And trying to get customer service on the phone is a nightmare. Never again.Alisha M.

The location charged me for fuel when I filled the tank with more than it started out with. Showed the location the video and still refused to refund the fuel charge. Service is poor. My second time going there. My daughter had a bad experience there. You can't get int the vans by moble always a problem and there is no one to service you during business hours.Kim W.
in addition to the cargo van we had reserved a furniture dolly, hand cart and furniture blankets. When we got back to the apartment, 15 minutes away, we discovered that none of those items were in the van. I tried to call the location, but no one answered (after letting it ring for 90 seconds). I called UHaul's 800 number, and after being routed a few times i was disconnected. I went to U Haul's website and sent an email concerning the missing items, and received no response. I ended up having to go to Home Depot and buying a furniture dolly (they had no hand trucks). Between all of those delays, and having to hand carry nearly everything the move took us five hours longer than we had initially rented the van for. The next day we were notified that we were being charged for the "missing" furniture dolly, hand cart and blankets. Not cool. And incidentally, we accidentally left our newly purchased furniture dolly in the van, so you all came out ahead on the equipment. A very, very frustrating experience.Elizabeth A.

After I returned to my home to start packing and opened the truck I found that the inside of the truck was full of rat feces. It was the single most horrific experience I have ever had renting a vehicle. I took it back and the staff was helpful even though I had to pressure them to power wash the interior at the car wash directly adjoining the gas station that was renting the vehicles. This is all already logged with customer service but I am putting this in again. This was HORRIFIC. The worst experience ever. I still smell rat feces. So gross.John C.

Printer hasn't worked all week overcharged me by $100 said it was a deposit and will be dropped had to wait 2 hours as the system was not working properly always some kind of problem here I use it because it is 2 blocks away in the future I will be going somewhere else' this is the worst Uhaul I have been to and I rent a lot of Uhaul trucks check my corporate account I can't say how bad these guys are never check in until the next day -too busy making pizzas always a problem at check in often no paperwork at check in no gas no milage recorded Bullshit place! bad on U haul Poor neighborhood so these customers don't count for shitray D.

Since it is a difficult time with COVID-19, I would of thought the trucks would be clean & sanitized after each use. The truck had old trash still in it, old paperwork from April 15th (during COVID outbreak) & smelled of cigarettes. My experience with the representative was great though, he was very fast and efficient. Unfortunately this location can't give you any packing accessories or straps for keeping things in place. But overall, this location got the job done and my family is moved in & happy!Patrick T.

Even though in my online reservation, I explicitly denied SafeMove insurance purchase, the location tacked it on for $14.95. And then he adds a $10 cleaning fee after you walk out after returning the truck. They tack on extraneous items that you don't need and don't have to pay for. Am going to fight with the main 800# to refund. Pain to work with. Stay awayGarry G.

The location is not equipped to managed a car tote or car trailer rental. When I picked up my car trailer, the gentlemen was the only person on site and he was behind a plexiglass wall managing gas pumps, coffee sales, keno betting, etc. Additionally, he was holding a personal conversation via his bluetooth phone and was managing a vendor delivery. When he finally got around to me he installed the trailer incorrectly resulting in damage to my brand new Range Rover Autobiography and potentially injury to me and others. It was a complete disaster of a rental.David K.
