This site the truck transmission was bad and when I notified them in person about the problems with the truck they just looked at each other as if they already knew and then looked at me. Then they turned around and charged me over $300 for the rental when the initial fee was $156 not to top of I had to use there gas station to put gas in the truck that was empty. Then the sent me a email of receipt with one amount but charged me a different amount and look like someone tried to sign where I didn't. Also they had it had gas in it but it was completely empty and the truck was damaged. I would not recommend. Still trying to get me extra money back..Donurique E.
do not over charge the customer; ensure a receipt is given for the vehicle return, so there is no discrepancy regarding time. Do not charge the customer $9 for 2 gals of gas driving 6miles. Very dishonest location.WAINFORD L.
I had booked the van for 7pm, however the process of picking up the van via the mobile account took us an hour. We were given the wrong keys to our van and were unable to get through to any u-haul representative when we tried to call. This delayed our moving plans and caused a lot of inconvenience to us. Please improve the online pickup process and make it easier for a customer to reach a representative when things don't go as planned so that they are not left stranded not knowing what to do.Vamsi R.
Booked for self service, had to wait 20min, truck was dirty and had trash in it, had major unreported body damage that I had to spend time documenting and uploading proof of, and gas level was overstated. I was charged for for over 12 miles of usage when I only drive 10.7 miles a picture was taken before leaving the facility and when returning. I never agreed to â€œmoving insuranceâ€ and was charged $14!â€¦..I was charged $7.49 for fuel when I filled the gas tank back up to it's original status which was 1/4 of a tank. I received no receipt they said it will email me it it's been a day and haven't seen received the email they charged me $69 off my card but then when I got the ask to see the paperwork it was $32 I have yet to receive my money back and like I said I still don't have a receipt the only thing I had I had to force him to let me take a picture of the receipt and he's very unprofessional I wouldn't I would tell no one about that I would never go there again and I really don't want to deal with you all no more because of this experience I try to reach you back on customer service put me on hold for 30 minutes then the b**** hung up on me I want my money back I want my $32 back if you want it you can help me that way call me at 202-247-1328JEFFREY W.

Dear Sirs: The check engine light came on while driving. I also believe the customer service representative is dishonest. I asked twice what was the cost for returning the truck two (2) hours late. I was told on both occasions $20.00. However I was charged $33.95. Had I been told $33.95 I would've kept the truck until 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. The customer service there was awful. The lady was rude. I didn't receive my papers until I returned the uhaul. You're supposed to get them before u leave the lot. The paperwork was inaccurate. July 4 I picked up my Usual Van. This location did not have enough people to run the store and service a Reservation. There was one person and took him over 20min to check me out. When I returned the Van there were now two people working the store at first there was one. It still took me 20min to get out. I traveled from that location near lake Clifton to cold spring and back to the location. The man tried to bill me for 39 miles. I only used about 15. 39miles is like Baltimore to Columbia or Arundel miles. He did my receipt over for me to check two days later he still bill me 89.04 in two different amounts instead of 64.05. Also, he put refund in cash when he said it'll go back to my card. He cannot multitask and he is a crook. Find another place to go.Sasha F.

It was easy pickup and dropoff, but the vehicle was filthy. We had to clean it before we wanted any of our things in it. Otherwise, it was easy and great. We had booked a different U-haul for the morning and they said we could pickup 8 am and then when we got there and tried to pickup the app said we had to come back at 10:30, so we canceled and booked here.Monica E.

First, the store clerk had to manage his store's customers before heading to the U-Haul desk, I had to wait forever Secondly, the truck was filthy (floor and walls) Thirdly, none of the blankets was ready. The low tire pressure light was on when I got the truck. I don't think they do much to maintain the truck between rentals because the tire pressure was really really low. I made certain to return the truck with more fuel than it had when I picked it up, but they lied about it on the return paper work and charged me the $30 fuel service fee. The place is a gas station, so I bought gas from them and then the gouged me by saying that I didn't, filled the truck back up with their own gas, and charged me again for it. What a ripoff.Max R.

When returned, I learned that the trailer was not installed correctly by the location attendant. The person at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Route 16 Medford / Somerville said "It could have killed someone". The attendant at the return location was appalled and directed me to report this event. I drove nearly 800 miles with a trailer that was not safe. Highly concerned and would like a response if possible. Thank you.Grace B.

Truck's cargo area was not swept out prior to my picking it up. Driver's area of truck had odd odor and had cardboard stuffed behind seats. Ordered 6 furniture pads, but they only had one in stock. People at rental location were pleasant, though.David S.

This location is a third party seller. The outside is a gas station , Once inside it's a convenient store, pizza restaurant, and uhaul pick up. This location is unprofessional and horrible customer service. Lastly I had to return the vehicle back to the same location (that was a given due to it being a 3rd party ) when I returned the vehicle the employer didn't check the vehicle nor walk around because he had a long line behind me which caused him to key in the vehicle information the next morning and he typed in the wrong mileage. Never had a problem with Uhaul before but I will NEVER!!!!! use a 3rd party seller again.Keehyn Aki F.

I had to be at pick up location at 8:30am. I had my rental in for 8am. The clerk was late. Didn't show until 8:15, with his Dunkin' Donuts as he sat in his car for 2 mins before coming in. Very dissapointed because getting to pick up location someone had already picked up the couch I wanted, so I rented the truck for nothing. And trying to get customer service on the phone is a nightmare. Never again.Alisha M.

in addition to the cargo van we had reserved a furniture dolly, hand cart and furniture blankets. When we got back to the apartment, 15 minutes away, we discovered that none of those items were in the van. I tried to call the location, but no one answered (after letting it ring for 90 seconds). I called UHaul's 800 number, and after being routed a few times i was disconnected. I went to U Haul's website and sent an email concerning the missing items, and received no response. I ended up having to go to Home Depot and buying a furniture dolly (they had no hand trucks). Between all of those delays, and having to hand carry nearly everything the move took us five hours longer than we had initially rented the van for. The next day we were notified that we were being charged for the "missing" furniture dolly, hand cart and blankets. Not cool. And incidentally, we accidentally left our newly purchased furniture dolly in the van, so you all came out ahead on the equipment. A very, very frustrating experience.Elizabeth A.
