The low tire pressure light was on when I got the truck. I don't think they do much to maintain the truck between rentals because the tire pressure was really really low. I made certain to return the truck with more fuel than it had when I picked it up, but they lied about it on the return paper work and charged me the $30 fuel service fee. The place is a gas station, so I bought gas from them and then the gouged me by saying that I didn't, filled the truck back up with their own gas, and charged me again for it. What a ripoff.

This location was not professional the uhual is located in a dark area where rats were running and it smells horrible. Uhual was not clean and windshield wipers did not work. Front window was extremely dirty and wipers didnt work.

There were trash items in the truck from the previous users. I did not receive the 1/2 pack of moving pads that I paid for. The bed of the truck had a fair amount of debris leftover from other users.

When returned, I learned that the trailer was not installed correctly by the location attendant. The person at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Route 16 Medford / Somerville said "It could have killed someone". The attendant at the return location was appalled and directed me to report this event. I drove nearly 800 miles with a trailer that was not safe. Highly concerned and would like a response if possible. Gracias.

Truck's cargo area was not swept out prior to my picking it up. Driver's area of truck had odd odor and had cardboard stuffed behind seats. Ordered 6 furniture pads, but they only had one in stock. People at rental location were pleasant, though.

This location is a third party seller. The outside is a gas station , Once inside it's a convenient store, pizza restaurant, and uhaul pick up. This location is unprofessional and horrible customer service. Lastly I had to return the vehicle back to the same location (that was a given due to it being a 3rd party ) when I returned the vehicle the employer didn't check the vehicle nor walk around because he had a long line behind me which caused him to key in the vehicle information the next morning and he typed in the wrong mileage. Never had a problem with Uhaul before but I will NEVER!!!!! use a 3rd party seller again.

Truck was filthy trash in trailer and up front. Had problems with mobile sign in. Mobile app wouldn't approve me called uhaul was on hold for 20 min. When i do get someone they can't help so i get transfered again was on hold for another 20 to 30 min. Just a horrible pick up experience. Also the truck was literally on E.

I had to be at pick up location at 8:30am. I had my rental in for 8am. The clerk was late. Didn't show until 8:15, with his Dunkin' Donuts as he sat in his car for 2 mins before coming in. Very dissapointed because getting to pick up location someone had already picked up the couch I wanted, so I rented the truck for nothing. And trying to get customer service on the phone is a nightmare. Never again.

The original uhaul I rented had a slashed tire and didn't work. I ended up getting charged twice, i think for both the unusable truck and the one I actually used.

The location charged me for fuel when I filled the tank with more than it started out with. Showed the location the video and still refused to refund the fuel charge. Customers service took excellent care of me. I sent the video of the beginning and ending fuel. Mrs. Ruth apologized and processed the refund.

The store an area around was very dirty n nasty. The store inside for drop off was not clean. The representative went on lunch when I needed assistance. The representative helped me at first an then decided to take a lunch per the other store clerk. After I had just drove over 8 hrs.

Have the truck available for the person who reserved it. My rental was given to someone else. I had to rent the biggest truck available and it was a inconvience to me.Than i was told that i didnt have a reservation that was incorrect also. Nothing was taken off my bill for the inconvience.

Service is poor. My second time going there. My daughter had a bad experience there. You can't get int the vans by moble always a problem and there is no one to service you during business hours.

in addition to the cargo van we had reserved a furniture dolly, hand cart and furniture blankets. When we got back to the apartment, 15 minutes away, we discovered that none of those items were in the van. I tried to call the location, but no one answered (after letting it ring for 90 seconds). I called UHaul's 800 number, and after being routed a few times i was disconnected. I went to U Haul's website and sent an email concerning the missing items, and received no response. I ended up having to go to Home Depot and buying a furniture dolly (they had no hand trucks). Between all of those delays, and having to hand carry nearly everything the move took us five hours longer than we had initially rented the van for. The next day we were notified that we were being charged for the "missing" furniture dolly, hand cart and blankets. Not cool. And incidentally, we accidentally left our newly purchased furniture dolly in the van, so you all came out ahead on the equipment. A very, very frustrating experience.

After I returned to my home to start packing and opened the truck I found that the inside of the truck was full of rat feces. It was the single most horrific experience I have ever had renting a vehicle. I took it back and the staff was helpful even though I had to pressure them to power wash the interior at the car wash directly adjoining the gas station that was renting the vehicles. This is all already logged with customer service but I am putting this in again. This was HORRIFIC. The worst experience ever. I still smell rat feces. So gross.

Printer hasn't worked all week overcharged me by $100 said it was a deposit and will be dropped had to wait 2 hours as the system was not working properly always some kind of problem here I use it because it is 2 blocks away in the future I will be going somewhere else' this is the worst Uhaul I have been to and I rent a lot of Uhaul trucks check my corporate account I can't say how bad these guys are never check in until the next day -too busy making pizzas always a problem at check in often no paperwork at check in no gas no milage recorded Bullshit place! bad on U haul Poor neighborhood so these customers don't count for shit

They didn't have a key box the keys are behind the register and the attendants don't have an easily visible sign up for costumers to see wasted a lot of time trying to figure out were to find the keys

Since it is a difficult time with COVID-19, I would of thought the trucks would be clean & sanitized after each use. The truck had old trash still in it, old paperwork from April 15th (during COVID outbreak) & smelled of cigarettes. My experience with the representative was great though, he was very fast and efficient. Unfortunately this location can't give you any packing accessories or straps for keeping things in place. But overall, this location got the job done and my family is moved in & happy!
