The checkin process was confusing as they seemed to have no records of the reservation and asked me many questions. The truck had construction debris throughout. The windshield wiper fluid wouldn't dispense, so not tested.

I was told on the phone when I made the rental that I wouldn’t have to worry about mileage. Then when I returned my rental, I was charged an additional $12.96 for going over 30 miles. I specifically asked I had to worry about mileage and the man I spoke to on the phone said no.

Where I parked the truck smelled like urine. Instructions didn’t clearly show where the key box was. Needed a code, after I completed the check out, in order to drop the. Thankfully thegas station attendant was able to take the key.

I live and work in Baltimore City and did not feel safe at this location. Pick-up was complicated and took over an hour. UHaul App was buggy and provided a lot of difficulty. Would not recommend this location or Uhaul in general.

One person working gas, convenience store items, lottery, and UHaul. Neither App nor website would load on my phone. Had to be manually checked in over 35 minutes. Returned truck but App and website would not load on my phone. Had to call UHaul to learn what to do. Returned to location and was able to get them to manually check in. What to do to improve?? Be sure App or website is able to load on phones.

The trucks tank was empty when I picked it up. No where did the site prompt me to take a photo, nor did the agent on the phone request this. Upon checking out I was asked to make sure the tank had 1/4 gas. long story short I put a 1/8 tank of gas in on my dime. For a 5 mile round trip I had to go to two gas stations. With the 4 hour rental I spent 1 hour with the pick up and drop off process because the venue did not have the staff to help with blankets and a designated person to assist with my rental needs even tho I chose self check in and out.

This location is the worst!!!!!! It took them 45 minutes to figure out that my reservation wasn’t working because the size truck was not available although they had 3 of the size out front so they upgraded me to a bigger truck when they figured out that was the problem. Then to revive the keys I asked the gas station attendee and he didn’t know what I was talking about so after being on the phone with customer service for another 30 minutes I went back in and asked a different guy who handed the keys right over. I requested for 4 hours and only got 3 then the next day they had the nerve to charge me for 2 days even when the truck was brought back 10 minutes earlier than the drop off time!?!? The customer service reps were all nice though

This uhaul location is in the most terrifying part of Baltimore. There were people begging for money and hassling me all over the place. I didn’t feel safe enough to fill the truck up with gas and the pickup and drop off was at a gas station. The instructions were unclear on how to get keys. The truck was filthy on the inside. I asked if I could return at another location I gets safe at and was denied (I was understanding of that). I will never ever use uhaul in Baltimore again.

I had an overall good experience with the U-Haul location and process. The equipment was functional and working properly. The only issue that I noticed was that I was charged $7.50 for gas when I have documentation showing that my gas was above the half tank mark that it's showing listed.

Mainrenance your vehicle completely and review the charges with the receipt from the hold deposit before coming up with the final cost. I have complained that the cost was miscalculated since the day I dropped it off a quarter filled with gas more than I picked it up with and I didnt recive a refund for overpaying or a thank you for the extra gas. I am completely disapponited. The vehicle only had a single windshield wiper working on the drivers side. The engine was loud and jerked me forward before it would accelerate and the service tire monitoring system keptcoming on and off. And Uhaul sent me a message and premarily said their rep said the truck was fine, but, I was highly concerned for the next customer. On top of that Uhaul has overcharged me and after about 4 days of waiting on a reply to my concerns, Uhaul took an overcharge of costs out of my account and advised me that that came with a 20% discount. I will be renting trucks from another business from here on out. Super unhappy about the entire experience.

The truck's door got stuck in the ceiling before our second trip. Not very pleasant experience with the door open while moving. We had to secure all furniture with tie-down straps.

I was rented a uhaul with bad brakes I was scared to drive the truck so I lost a whole day of unloading the truck. The truck had to be towed to my storage unit unloaded than towed to a repair shop before you rent out any vehicle it should be checked I know DOT would have shut that truck down and they still want to charge me for a day rental

It was one person dealing with customers in store as well as trying to do u haul rentals. Had to use his cell phone to talk to someone bout the rental . I have used u haul on many occasions and never had a bad experience the truck was dirty they didn’t give me paperwork before I left with the truck with my Milagros or gas he told me they don’t give it to you until you come back and I told him it wasn’t true especially since I just gave him $160 as well I don’t recommend this location to nobody worse u haul experience ever and they was real unperfessional and it was another customer trying to rent a truck had a bad experience as well but she just ended up leaving. Never again at this location

Not professional set up at all. no signs marking it is in the gas station, clerk at the gas station didn't know what he was doing. Had to wait like 30 minutes for the other guy to come. Couldn't add another driver. The whole experience was terrible. The location was very convenient to where I was though.

This place rented us a truck with a clearly ailing engine (with a loud knock), and a check engine light on. The truck was unsafe to drive and would sometimes downshift at inopportune moments for no discernible reason, creating unsafe driving situations. The truck's back was open with a bunch of litter in it -- it was clearly not cleaned. The truck was not safe to take on the freeway. I ordered the truck through the U-haul website, and it completely got all my selections wrong. It thought I selected self-checkout, and rented a van, but I did neither -- I wanted to check out with th attendant and wanted to rent a 10' truck. This is, by far, the worst rental truck experience I ever had. I will never do business with U-haul again, and will be sure to steer my friends clear of U-haul, as well.

I requested a 15 ft Uhaul at a location very close to my home, when they called to confirm, they said I had to go to a different location. When I asked why, they advised it was because the location by my house did not have any 15 ft trucks available that day, only 10 ft trucks. 10 ft was too small, so I said OK, I will go to the other location. The day came, I drove out of the way to the Uhaul location I was told to go to, I got there and waited 20 minutes, the owner then came over and said they didnt have a 15ft truck only a 10 ft. So I went out of my way, waited around and then got the truck I didnt want. Had I known I could have only got a 10ft truck, I would have just gone to the place 3 minutes from my house. Terrible, terrible service.

I made the reservation for 7am pick up and location was not opened when the app allowed me to make the reservation. This made me late for the time I need to be. Then the prepaid was charged and after bring the van back the charge was only $42.89 but only credit my husband card $6.73 and did not credit it the other $28.85. So where is our refund?

The 25th street location was absolutely fine and the guys I dealt with were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the alignment on the 26' truck we rented was significantly off, so I had to have the wheel turned slightly left pretty much all the time. This was clearly a known problem, as there were white lines drawn on the steering column to show where the actual "neutral" area was.

It’s in the hood. Furniture blankets were just laying in a random shopping cart. No hand trucks available. Customer service was a little sub par. Air conditioning didn’t work in the truck. This was also my second attempt at getting a truck, since my “guaranteed reservation” on Hanover wasn’t honored and the truck I “reserved” wasn’t available.

I've used this location before but this time the customer service was below average. The waiting time was too long as one person was handling uhaul transactions and other kiosk and I was asked to download the app to "speed up" the process. But alas, this didn't expedite the process as the gentleman wasn't able to walk me through how to use the said app. Should I avoid this location next time?? Thanks!

App was not loading properly for check in process. Customer service rep was not very helpful. Even though I signed up for self check out, I still had to go inside and get the key at the gas station where I had to wait 20 mins for a cashier to provide me with a key with the van cause he was too busy selling lottery tickets. I was delayed on the move by 30 mins of inconvenience. Would not recommend the service.
