Timothy LDistrict Manager picked up vehicle on Nov 27th and checked it in on Dec 6th. Where was the vehicle for 10 days? We were not even given the opportunity to take a photo of the mileage. Today someone from a different Uhaul location than where it was rented attempted 5 transactions against my debit card totaling $33,320 plus change. Bank of America has now locked my debit card and our checking account.

John BMake the rear of the trucks a air ride suspension as I had alot of broken glassware that was well packed ,but the stiff rear suspension bounced boxes up and down and this was how the glassware became broken

Patricia FElderly lady was only person on site and appeared not to be strong enough to lift the tow dolly tounge so I did it myself. It was very heavy for me at 78 years old. She was very helpful but should have a stronger person on site to assist
James BI have rented U Hauls MANY times. I drove this truck directly to my son's home (about 7 miles) and pulled into his driveway. We loaded the truck and were ready to pull out when we noticed the rear passenger tire was not only flat but had a slice in it and a dent in the rim right near it. This was not noticed when I picked it up but I did not hit anything. It took 3 hours to get a repairman to the house and then he had the wrong size tire. It delayed our move by more than 4 hours. U Haul did extend my contract and the repair is probably beyond their control but that tire must have been damaged before I rented the truck but the damage not made visible until there was a lot of weight in it.

Brandan BThere was problem with my 24/7 reservation and I could not get truck key from box. Tried calling u-haul customer service. Just awful. Waited and waited. Never able to speak with a representative. Fortunately, I was able to contact local owner and we made arranges for me to access key. Think I would still be on hold using the u-haul customer service #

Susan SStop over booking your trucks! A month before reserved truck shouldn't mean I have to drive 55 mins away from my original pickup spot to make sure I get a truck the night before my move! Thank goodness one of the managers Tamara (Pantops location?) took time out after 5pm on a Friday to help me over the phone because no one from corporate will answer the phone. She was amazing and very helpful. If it wasn't for her I probably would have never gotten a truck.
Ray HInteraction with staff was excellent. Unrelated to the provider I had difficulty with doing the return on the app. The staff were also helpful and responsive to the above concern and had it resolved within an hour or so of notification. Thanks to Tiffany!
David FGet people that are open normal hrs or that can use the uhaul online to pickup/ drop-off the truck. Employees should also be fully clothed and dressed for business not bed time. Employees should also be able to read a gas gage as I returned the truck with more gas than I left with but got charged for 3 gallons? 3 gallons in a 60 gal tank won't move the needle

Luis VGetting the keys was ridiculous. They forgot to give me the moving blankets. I had to use my personal linen to protect my furniture. I was ignored by customer service when I made a complaint. There was a rat trap in the back of the truck with debris from and garbage from previous uses.
William GMake sure the mirrors are solid. The right mirror was not stable and when your drove it moved, which made it hard to see on the right side.

Cameron KMy UHAUL experience was very stressful and time consuming. WHen i came to pick up my truck for rental in Chester VA. 45 minutes away from my original location I was suppose to pick it up originally they did not have the truck there. I then got re routed to MINERAL VA. and whole hour away from that location and an hr away from where I was using the truck and my original pickup location. Being charged >69 a mile and having to drive over a hundred miles just to pick up the truck and take it back is not something that is convenient in any way. I will not be using UHAUL ever again probably because it just seems like an unorganized company that lacks good customer service. Anytime I would try and get someone on the phone for customer service it would take 30-45 minutes just to get a live person and then they would pawn me off of another customer service rep. and never really help me or answer the questions i needed. The worst experience I have had in a long time with a company.
Patrick GI should not have needed to pick up at this location. My reservation was for Fluvanna. When that truck needed maintenance the replacement should have been brought to Fluvanna instead of me being charged for an extra 100 miles to pick up and return

Michael SYou over charged me by 306.00 and overdrafted my bank account. Since you then issued a refund and have withdrawn it. I will be contacting an attorney as I have proof of your fuck ups and over charging me as well as overdrafting my bank and now pulling back a refund you owe me

JJ SHave the truck where the app says it is or take a picture of the truck where it is. The app said it was in the South parking lot, but it was in the North parking area. I wasted some time looking at the wrong truck for the ID number. That was the only snag in the process. The rest was great!

Make sure the location chosen actually does UHAUL BEFORE it gets to the day before pickup.i had to drive an extra 45 mins to pick up a truck (that was not the size I reserved) because they told me that the original place that I chose does not do UHAUL anymore.
Aurora TWe had to self drop so from where we could determine to drop the truck we couldn't find a drop box so we left the key hidden and left a note to call us for the location not knowing that we had spotty phone reception in our new location by the time we got a text message the lady here was very nasty on the phone with me as if I was doing something on purpose and although I can understand they were trying to make money from a early rental since we turned the truck in a day and a half early there was no need to be so nasty. I would never rent from this place nor recommend them.

I would use this location and recommend this even if it where a little further or out of the way. I had to drive 100 mile to get truck and meet mover after talking to her her I knew it was going to work out.

Joseph DPhone-based check-in again, so the following isn't really locaation-specific. The check-in process said it completed, but found out the next day that my truck was still showing as checked out. When my wife visited to return our trailer, she inquired about the truck - The helpful folks here made sure it was checked in, but noticed a significant mileage discrepancy - no doubt a result of the discrepancy I had reported in the check-out process. I would have been billed $900 for the mileage difference. So... Phone based check-in was as disatisfying as the phone based check-out was. Again, not sure if this review space is supposed to be for the return experience or the return location. The experience sucked, the location was fine and irrelevant for a self check-in.
Tyler SIt was a great experience to use your company. I was already stressed out with dealing with my husband’s illness and being admitted to hospice. The vehicle was a dream to drive. The seats were comfortable. I have arthritis and usually I’m in a great deal of pain when driving a great distance but the comfort of this truck made that issue nearly non-existenant.
Dena GDevise a way to unhook a heavy trailer that doesn’t involve brute strength. I had very difficult time removing my rental trailer from my vehicle. I am 78 years old and needed help .
