I was told that the trailer would hold the vehicle i was trying to tow and after i paid $75 and drove over an hour to find out the vehicle didnt not fit and i had to pay another $150 for a tow truck.

For the most part, the truck was not a complete mess when I picked it up. However, it was on the way back to my house that I noticed there were fake nails on the driver seat and floor, an empty bag of chips on the dash on the passenger side, as well as Chick-fil-let trash behind the driver seat. Although I did clean it up, I shouldn't have had to. I sure this was just a small oversight by those managing the location and I wouldn't 'not' recommend them. But, better attention to detail would have meant that I wouldn't have wondered why the seat was itching my leg so badly. Yeah... someone's discarded fake fingernail was the culprit.

The time it took to rent the u haul was ridiculous. The rep did not seem to understand the computer system. After getting everything printed, we had to wait for customers who were shopping, purchasing food etc. Because there is only one person working who has to lock down the store to come and walk out to the u haul to inspect the vehicle. To top it off, we had until 8pm to bring the truck back. They closed early. I called and was told that since they closed early, bring the truck back by 12noon. Arrived to return the truck, the doors were locked. So I went back home. Called the store repeatedly. Finally get the truck back and get told that I am being charged for an additional day and five miles overage but they closed early and left the store the next day. Both causing late return and mileage overage. Then to say that they have to charge because u haul is going to ask why was the truck back so late. I said tell uhaul the truth or is this a tactic used to get more money from unsuspecting customers. I will NEVER use this location again.

The person running the store was very friendly. I was upset that I booked a U-haul location on-line at 532 East Mercury Blvd 1.0 miles from step-son's house. Instead I find out that the location is over 8 miles away at 5011 West Mercury Blvd and I am getting charged 0.99 cents both ways. I do not think I will ever reserve online again. I was also upset that once we got the U-haul 10 foot truck, there was no ramp help move our washing machine!

Make sure you have the rentals for the customers reservations AnD not double book and make your customers run to 3 different locations for pickup and charge extra mileage for the inconvenience of your customers

Drop off was a parking lot with a lock box outside of a strip mall. It was efficient as there was a dumpster, parking lot was clean but I would not call it inviting.

Back of truck wasn't swept out from previous customer. But agent was friendly and helpful, so that kinda made up for it a little.

This has nothing to do with the pick up location, however, I reserved to pick it up at a location much closer to my house and was notified the day before pick up that it has been moved down to this location. That is a U-Haul issue not this pick up locations issue. The lady at the pick up location was wonderful and very helpful but it was inconvenient for me to have to go further than anticipated.

Horrible experience at original pick up place. Was sent to second location with no address and no indication that it was in an unrelated store. Tameka did not stop eating her muffin for the entire time she did not really help me. Bad, bad, bad!

I was not told of the pickup change location for my reservation until after I showed up to the original place and they told me they were closed. When I called the main number the people were rude and not very helpful. Once I got the new rental pickup location the lady was frustrated that she had to keep repeating herself and that I had questions about. Y rental. I will never use this service again.

I caught a ride to the location. The truck was not ready at 4pm. I picked up truck around 7-ish, I think after receiving a call saying that the truck was back. The tire light was on indicating a lack of air. I called inside the store. Owner said it was fine even though I could see that the tire was low. Someone from a previous use left an orange shirt inside. So, I don't think it was cleaned. When I returned the truck, owner tried to charge me for two days even thought my original reservation was for 24 hours from 4-4. Since they didn't have a truck ready for me until about three hours later, I should not have returned the truck until around 7. It was hard to understand the gentleman at the register due to his accent. I rented a truck for $19.99 per day but ended up paying $70+. I made my original reservation so that the truck would only be at Ace Hardware which was only 1mile from my school and 2 miles from my house. My school held a yard sale, and by the time I put gas in the truck and paid for mileage, the money I made at the school's yard sale went to Uhaul. I was not notified that there was no 10ft truck available at Ace Hardware until too late. Had I had revived an earlier notice, I would have gone with another company or cancelled the reservation. I'm so disappointed in this experience. I have used Uhaul many times before.

The place is a grocery store with one clerk who has to leave the store to tend to U-Haul needs out of sight of the store's door!!. They are completely uninterested in the U-Haul business. Use them only as a last resort.

Very disappointed with this U-Haul experience. While a staff person called to confirm reservation, nobody specifically told me the location had changed so I took a cab to the facility initially selected only to have to take another cab. Clerk didn't speak English very well, so the in-take process @ the store was painfully slow. No storage accessories available for purchase., so went back to the first store to buy.I'm a frequent customer over the years, but THIS was awful!!!! Please notify customers CLEARLY when site changes occur.

Originally the truck was reserved by my Girlfriend (Juliette Igram res# 25676910). We were supposed to pick up the truck at 10 we didn't get the truck til 1230 pm. I can't hold to them completely responsible because the truck wasn't brought back til around 11 am. First he couldn't figure out how to charge her card. Then he told us we couldn't charge it to my card because the reservation was in her name(which we found out from Uhaul that was wrong). So we switched it to my name it then took him over an hour to figure out how to rent the truck to me. Completely unacceptable situation!!!!

Was never informed where I was suppose to pick up vehicle. When I went to pick up what I thought was the truck, only the trailer was there. Lucky the representative I dealt with for the trailer was able to contact her manager to locate the truck. Which was a 20 min drive. I don't understand why both vehicle and trailer couldn't have been at the same location ready for me to pick up.

Equipment that we purchased like blankets where not available, and when she called about it, they told us to come to the main location.Poor customer service, and no we did not go get them. Plus it took us forever to do the initial paper work. Time we didn't have.

customer phone service was very rude, I was not from the area and could not understand the speech was difficult to understand. When I ask her to repeat herself she became verbally rude. When I told her I was not from the area, had to use my gps to find her, her attitude changed some what . Over all unnecessarily rude, and on top of that the site was 6 miles (round trip)out of my way from another uhaul I could have went to but I didnt know the area, and had already made reservations to pick up. I didn't appreciate the rudeness, I probably not go back, unless there were the only one with the truck. over all the customer phone service was ugly. There ws a guy there who had a better attitude

This pickup location was very poor. It took over 2 hours to get the paperwork completed and finally take the equipment I had reserved to pickup. Both employees who tried to help me didn't seem to know anything about the Uhaul process nor the equipment. Once the paperwork was finished after 1.5 hours we finally went outside to get the truck and car dolley. The employee didn't know how to secure my vehicle on the dolley. He asked me if I knew how to do it. I had completed a similar move almost 10 years ago so I had a rough idea on how things needed to work. As we were trying to figure it out the employee was reading the manual, while I looked at the equipment and figured out how to secure my vehicle on the dolley. I would STRONGLY recommend not renting from this location ever again. They were completely clueless and wasted a good portion of my day that I had planned for my move.

My experience was awful. I made my reservation a couple days prior to me moving and got the confirmation email with the address, it said someone would call me. No one called. The day of moving day I went to the location, there was no uhauls, it was an abandoned auto shop that said they were closed. Luckily there was a man in there that could look up the confirmation number, he told me it was at a different location that was another 15 minutes away. We went there and the lady that was renting it to us didn't even know how to do it, I had to show her. And this point it was 10:40 . The time was also changed to 11, again with out telling us. She then said I had to bring it back at 4....now I'm at 3 hours, I have movers waiting at my house for an hour....on the website it says "optional" to put your drop off location, later I find out that if you don't put one it automatically makes it where you picked it up. Nowhere did it tell me that. So she had to change the time to 5 and that was a process in its self...next thing I know it's 11:15 and I finally get my things moved. I was livid with the un organization and lack of knowledge with this whole process. I will not use uhauls again.
