1- I rented a van and it was double booked, so they said my truck would be $19.99 a day 2- My truck was $29.99 a day 3 I only made 2 trips during the week, and was charged for weekend mileage 4- I'm taking my business to Budget or Thrifty 5- I was way over charged, and they kept my deposit, I returned truck with more gas than necessary, and then they added more days, rate was wrong, it was just a bad experience. 6- The people at the Uhaul locations continue to say book on line, then when you try it hooks you up with a trailer, and my cars do not have the hitch for a trailer. I'm disgusted beyond belief, and though I didn't tell this particular location they failed to meet any requirements, I'm still stuck paying over $600.00! This was totally unacceptable, no one is being held accountable, and I'm out money I didn't have to spend. I would like a call back, and some of my money returned since this entire deal was a cluster fuck!

They overcharged us for an extra day and we picked it up and dropped it off all in the same day! No paperwork for assurance of drop off and could not even verify until Monday when we were sent an extra charge!!!

I went to the first location and they didn't have the truck I rented online. They gave the last one to the person in front of me who had no reservation. So I had to go all the way to the other side of town to pick up the truck. I was not pleased at all. I also was told I would get money off and mileage off because of this mishap but more than what was originally even discussed was taken. I didn't even get to use the equipment I had also set up to rent, the dolly, the blankets. All in all one of the worst experiences moving ever

I was quoted a price for truck and trailer and upon arrival the guy tried to charge me an extra 250 dollars. Stating that I paid over a thousand dollars just for the truck. Then afterwards uhaul tried to charge my card another 50 dollars. I do not know why but you do not give accurate quotes and you reserve things just to get the initial money instead of being honest. I will use enterprise next time. This was really a bad experience. Plus the store worker was refusing service to people that disputed prices and it's the worst part of town. People asking for money, asking if you need help moving etc. The guy did not know why I was being charged so much and was going to steal my money until I called uhaul.

Stop freezing so much money on credit card, $200. really? I barely had enough to take care of the business I rented the truck for. We are not rich, we simply want an affordable truck not a burden, of course it's your choice. Otherwise a great deal.

Owner was extremely kind and helpful! There was some type of issue with the system saying the truck wasn't available, despite me having reserved it weeks prior and the truck in fact being in the parking lot. He owner of the store resolved this issue quickly and treated me with utmost customer service.

I had to wait an hour for the truck to be ready after I arrived. They didn't have everything that I had reserved. The parking lot is way too small for the uhaul and auto transports to move through. I wasn't allowed to hook up my car when I picked up the truck. I was told I had to come back for it. They kept asking who was going to drive and didn't like it when I said I was. They tried to talk me out of the insurance options. I felt like they were rude and couldn't answer any of my questions. I would never use this location again.

dangerous part of town, homeless people outside, it was open but i just dropped the key off, i did not feel comfortable there with out a gun or security, people parked in cars just watching whats going on, i did not feel safe.

Located in a very sketchy area; clerk spoke on the phone with someone during the transaction truck had not been cleaned out and the ramp had apparently been caked with mud which had dried because when we opened the ramp, there was dirt everywhere

They gave me a car transport without working brake lights. The person from the rental store did what he could to help but the lights never worked. He tried to call customer service but they never answered. Corporate UHaul should provide better customer service to clients and associates. This is a fraudulent company, no customer service at all. The moving truck didn't have any windshield fluid either. UHaul is an awful rental company. Tge worst.

Let me start with the end. Where I finally picked up the Uhaul was an average place. One of those all you can get markets in downtown Louisville. So, that's the average rating. As for overall experience on Saturday August 21,2021 the service was worse than poor. The original location ( Pearls in Mount Washington KY) I reserved my Uhaul didn't have any trucks, so he sent me to another Uhaul place on Outer Loop here in Louisville. After waiting 30 minutes for the place to open, I called the customer service number listed. When I was finally connected to an agent, I was informed the location I was at had been closed for over a year. Even the agent on the phone was surprised I was sent there. The agent located a truck for me and I was able to finish moving my belongings.

He took the keys and didn't look at the truck. I was charged for gas even though I returned it with the same amount that I picked it up with, just under a half a tank. I think this is a scam and I will dispute the charge and contact the BBB.

When I went to pick up the uhaul I reserved originally at the 535 W Broadway location on Saturday 06/26/21 they didn't have one available. After speaking with a someone from a number the gentleman gave me I was informed that there wasn't a Uhaul within 100 miles of Louisville KY which cause me to delay my move and have to pay additional expenses to the property I was moving from for staying past the time I told them I would be out by. I relied on the fact I reserved a truck and was let down. If there wasn't a truck available a simple phone call could have resolved the issue or even letting me know when I called to make the reservation that one wouldn't be available on that date. Instead I lose money on top of wasting my time going to pick up a truck that wasn't available. The second location I went to which was the Oak Street Food Mart on Sunday 06/27/21 to actually pick up the truck from the second reservation was great actually but this isn't the first time I had trouble with getting a truck that I had reserved. Nothing against the Oak St location I would not recommend UHaul at all. To me the whole situation, which as I said has happen to me once before, was unprofessional and I regret relying on and doing business with UHaul.

Customer service was poor, no help whatsoever from the clerk other than to ask me my name and a couple of other questions. I feel I should have received some sort of refund from the $137 that I paid in advance seeing how I did not use as many miles as was estimated in the beginning. I did receive a $2 refund however after they charged me $12 for the dolly when it should have only been $10.

U-Haul corporate screwed me. I rented a 10 foot with unlimited miles. They called me and said they couldn't find one so I had to go 20 miles away and pick up a 15 foot. When my dad got there, the people who screwed with my account screwed up my reservation and they needed a tax ID even though I rented it as an individual. The very helpful independent agent did everything he could to help. This is purely a complaint about U-haul corporate. Then, when I returned the truck, I walked in and said "hey I'm returning a truck." The agent says "KEY!" I said okay, do we need a receipt? "NO JUST KEY. THEY EMAIL INVOICE." When i got the invoice, I was charged for too many miles. On a reservation that was supposed to have unlimited miles. I guess corporate screwed up my reservation every way they could. Thanks for nothing Uhaul!
