Uhaul as a whole is pretty much trash. You guys charge out the ass because you know you're pretty much the only option. I kind of hate that I have to use it however many more times in my life. Every single thing costs money. Like unreasonable money. When I finally booked the truck I literally got like 15 emails, and 6 text messages all saying the same thing. The truck didn't even have cruise control. Availability is god awful. The trucks are so underpowered it's almost hilarious, which causes them to get far worse gas mileage than normal. I'd bet they break down on people often, and they probably get the minimum coverage you offer, so said people are forced to fix it. Can't wait to use you guys again! So we are clear, I'm talking about Uhaul, not Olson oil.Leslie R.

If it not for Donnie (employed by Olson Oil) helping us, we never would have been able to pick up our truck. The locks were frozen and needed to be broken off. It was the closest to our destination which worked out fine. My only complaint is with the mileage charges. I don't recall seeing a definite rate for or allowance for how many miles were included. So my quote was off by $50. Giving more info regarding mileage would have been helpful to me. I went back and was trying to find a rate outside of the $1 per mile after ? how many miles? My SIL dropped off the truck at this location. I got a call from a man at the location on Hampden Ave in Fergus Falls who said it was supposed to be dropped off at his location and he said he had sent me a text about it earlier. I didn't see the text. So, he was irritated and said I needed to find the first contract email with Uhaul and email it to him so he didn't get charged!! Again, miscommunication problems at the drop off too! I don't think I'll use Uhaul anymore.Nancy R.

Well we didn't fill the tank up when done cause we filled it up before we left Fergus and we made sure it was at same gas when we dropped it off and there wasn't a dolly in the truck and I paid for a dolly so we had to go and rent one fro the other Uhaul in Fergus Falls, MN . Oher than that it was a good trip and moving went well.Peter K.
The online/app way to pick up after hours was horrible! The app and website would not load/log me in. Even though I had downloaded it the night before. After nearly an hour on the phone with 3 different people I was able to take the truck I reserved. There really needs to be a good way to pick up a rental after hours over the phone when technology fails us.Cassandra J.

Arrived and asked about check in. Guy says â€œpark it back there and use online check in. I injured my back attempting to lift trailer off hitch. Asked for help a second time. Basically had to beg for help. U-Haul needs to specify which locations are full service and which are self service.PETER S.

When a customer makes a reservation 6+ weeks in advance, it would be great if you made sure that store was open and they have the equipment the customer reserved. I had planned to pick up my truck at 5 pm load it that evening and then upload the following morning. However I had to load and unload all in the same day as the store I was picking up from was closed the day of my reservation. I was on the phone/on hold with UHaul from 4:45-8pm and then from 7-8:30 the following morning. The equipment wasn't all there and they flaked off paint when I first removed them from the truck.Kaleb K.

we were in Fergus falls at 4:10pm to drop off the trailer and the business hours are 8am to 5pm and no one was answering the phone and no one was there the door was locked!!!!! so we went into Olsen Oil and asked fi anyone was taking care of the U-haul , he said I don't know I'll get my boss RICK, so he came out and I told him what I needed and that no one was there and what am I suppose to do?? He said EARL was in back working on the car wash and it was okay just to leave it. I said okay and my husband and I left as it was a long day of moving. I told my husband we have no receipt saying we dropped it off, NOTHING! So now as I sit here I wonder what's going to happen because we don't have a receipt saying that we returned the trailer and no one checked us in, WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT, SOMEONE WILL SAY THEY DIDN'T GET IT?? The worker at the fergus falls location knew not only that it was summer but also that i would be driving it to south carolina which is 20+ hour drive and they knew the ac didn't work and did not say anything to me... which made it a miserable drive!!
