There was no jack on the trailer hitch, the very nice woman working there had to lift it, and it wasn’t easy.

AYONNA SThe operator was not helpful in connecting me to the service I needed in unlocking the truck that I accidentally locked the keys in upon return to the location. I waited for 20+ minutes for her to stop talking to the customer in front of me about a story she was telling unrelated to her job and then was told there was not a spare key to unlock the vehicle and that I would need to call someone either a locksmith or tow company to get it unlocked myself. I did so, called a local company. While waiting outside, the operator came out and asked me the ETA of the tow company and asked if I scheduled a U-Haul-approved vendor…which was not made clear to me in the above interaction. She said that it I had done so, U-Haul would have covered the expense instead. This was incredibly inconvenient and unhelpful. Waiting as long as I did on a move-in day and her poor customer service and attitude will have me not returning to this location for business again. I relayed the above to my realtor as well to discourage business there as well.

MILUM LI made my reservation online and chose not to take the insurance as my insurance would cover. I was told at the location that I HAD to take the insurance, it was required and has been for the past 2-3 years. Yet the app gave me the choice to not take out the extra insurance. It makes no sense for me to have to take out insurance when I already have insurance. It also makes no sense that it was an option when making the reservation yet was told I had to pay $15 for more at the location…

JERIMIAH WI thought I would only be paying 20 something dollars for a Uhaul just to move 1 chair, but i ended up spending 47 dollars for only 1 hour of using the uhaul and barely traveling 8 miles in tota. No one informed me that I was required to have the $15 safe move coverage on the small cargo van. That was way too expensive and I even asked why my price was so high and they still didn't tell me the safe move coverage was added even though I opted out of it online, they told me it was the mileage usage price and would go down after I returned it (which it didn't of course). I think Uhaul should specify this when you book online that you can't opt out of the coverage because I would have saved my money and just not booked if I knew I was going to have to spend that much. I wish I didnt have to choose Uhaul ever but unfortunately it's the monopoly of rental vans.

RUSSELL GO'Hanlon's Service and Repair was super flexible for my drop-off and they were actually supposed to be closed when I arrived, but the owner/manager flagged me down as I was leaving the parking lot and she efficiently processed our trailer drop-off. She provided great local info about summer storage locations and local trailer rental for college daughter's future needs. Great experience overall and I will use O'Hanlon's Service and Repair for my Harrisonburg, VA UHaul needs in the future.

BRUCE DIt would be great to be able to adjust allotted miles ahead of time for those customers who need to drive from the pickup location to the loading location. Not all of us live super close to UHaul locations. I ended up being within the allotted miles, but it was very close even though I didn't do anything extra.

Douglas JI would recommend this location. They really helped us out of a jam due to the fact that the Uhaul location we were really sent to was no longer operational. After going to the next location that was recommended but did not have the equipment we needed we tried this location. We had to change the size truck we needed and do a round trip instead of a one way to make it all work. This location was very accommodating but we probably won't go with U-haul again any time soon.

Lorie CIt was a nightmare, trying to find a trailer or actually trying to find a dealer that spoke English. Most of them are Indian owned and run, and they do not speak any English.

Harold MPick up and drop off was easy and your employee was great. I am glad she told us the $19.00 truck doesnt have a ramp. We needed a ramp. The vehicle was clean, ran great, and was just what we needed. Thanks for helping us out.

Adrian MI didn't catch her name, but the lady running the shop was so incredibly kind and helpful. We ran into a few bumps in the moving process, but she was able to get us sorted with the additional time and equipment we needed, and even offered some expert advice. She certainly went above and beyond. I don't want to move again anytime soon, but if I needed to, I'd go back to this Uhaul location in a heartbeat.

Caden VTruck was not ready and unable to pick up using 24/7 luckily the storage facilities in Harrisonburg was open and able to access the system and assist.
Debbie LTrailer needs better placed marker lights so they can be seen at night when trying to back up trailer. Also the floor of trailer should be flat because you can't move stuff around easy in the space. With the ridges make it way to difficult to move anything without a flat bottom.
