The staff was friendly and helpful- definitely worth taking a chance on the small town business owner!

I confirmed a location in Sinton TX & paid. Then after the fact, I receive an email saying that equipment is not available at that location so I had to travel to Idem TX. Once I arrived at the location at 9am at the scheduled pickup time, I called the number listed, the owner answered and stated they were in church & wouldn’t be available until 12 noon. That is 3 hours passed the scheduled time. I had to travel back home & return to Odem TX 3 hours later. When I arrived, the truck was filthy. I didn’t have a choice but to take it. We were 3 hours passed our scheduled pick time and had 6 hours to pack a 3 bedroom home. I took pictures of all the crud all over the floors that appeared to have been there for days. I’m not sure what it was. It appeared to be a mix of mud and a whit e thick film. I had to put my furniture on it but was unable to put my mattresses on it so we had to literally leave my California King mattresses behind because we had no way to transport them & had to be out by 6pm. We didn’t have time to clean the floors in the truck to take the mattress. On top of that, I prepaid gas for $50 miles but the truck had no gas. The owner of the Uhaul place said he would credit us $15. This was the most unpleasant, unprofessional experience we have come across. I WILL NOT recommend Uhaul to anyone due to our experience. It was awful. I called to speak to a manager & they said someone would call me back with in 48 hours yet not one person has returned my calls. Simply UNACCEPTABLE.

We are still waiting to be contacted by a manager from U-Haul. Our contract was changed by the store when we did not authorize it and we had to fight to have it changed back. Additionally, the customer service we received from U-Haul’s 800- number was uncaring and unsatisfactory when we called to bring this to their attention. Also, U-Haul DOES NOT honor its Reservation Guaranty policy.

Odem tire service made myexperience with uhaul a nught mare . They did not give me the right truck then had to bring me adifferent truck which never was put into thesystem. When arrivinf to storage and uhaul in Taylor,TX no record of the truck being issued was found it cost me 5 hours of my time waiting for this mess to be fixed. It had togo through regionalmanager. I was charged $239 when only to be $218 then i have been chargedagain. I willbeasking for a full refund because of my time and missery of allthe mixup before odem even recieved the order. Uhaul had changed my location and reservation 3 times before sending me to Odem. I will never recommend Uhaul to anyone or company moving. Will use your compeditors. Michael Page k

The first trailer was not road ready, and I refused to take it. The second trailer was hooked up and when I had them check the lights the whole right side did not work. The third trailer was under a tree and was filthy, ( look like it had been there for a long time) but I took it once I had them check the tires and I checked the lights. At no time did the location go thru the normal check list. I took pictures and send them to u-haul. This was the worst service I have ever had at a u-haul location. Then u-haul want me to take more pictures, and only want to cover their (sorry) ass.

Service was excellent. Representative worked quickly to get me my uhaul even though it was a short notice.

The return address on the contract was incorrect. When I pulled up to the assigned return address it was just a vacant lot! Had to call customer service for the correct location. A bit of an inconvenience to an otherwise good experience.

No one there to at this location to make inspection of rental truck . And long waiting for No nothing never got my recipe sign off . very disappointed with services at this location
