Christophe C.NO passenger seat belt took a chance driving illegally that way we had no choice as it was a 6 am pickup, it had a seatbelt but the locking mechanism was not there to clip it into. The alignment was extremely off the wheel had be turned to the left just to drive straight. There was mold and mildew in the ceiling on the drivers side. It also drove horribly and shook like crazy even at low speeds

Jonathan B.This location doesn't allow the rental of trucks and vans unless you live in the zip code. I live in the zip code but my ID DOESN'T SAY JACKSONVILLE, therefore, I am not allowed to rent. As a national company, I would expect more flexibility.
Clauselie P.The location only allows rentals from clients who live in the zipcode. As a national company, this is unacceptable, having to ride around and find other Uhaul locations. I hope in the future this location allows all rental equally.

But the truck was there and after the attendant drove off to locate the person responsible for releasing the truck to us, and the responsible person returned, everything went fine.

George G.Let the customer know that their key is in a lockbox AND provide a code. Advise the u-haul owner that someone should be available during business hours THROUGHOUT the business hours. If there is a sign that says “will be back in 2-3 minutes†please abide by that sign and not be gone for 30-45 minutes with customers waiting. If you are on the lot please have the phone with you. If you are not on the lot the phone should be forwarded to your cell so you can answer when you are away.

Christian D.When I picked up the trailer I hooked it up myself the employee only checked the running lights and it was full of leaves due to it being located beneath a tree. Upon return I was informed by another employee everything was good, 24HRS later I received my bill and there was a cleaning charge from the company. Fortunately I was able to speak with a nice lady at U-Haul and have that bogus charge refunded. Initially your live chat told me I would have to pay that bogus fee. I would highly recommend to u-Haul to not allow that location to rent U-Haul equipment anymore.

April A.I HAVE RENTED FROM THIS LOCATION SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. QUICK CHECK IN/CHECK OUT. GREAT EQUIPMENT AND EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS LOCATION IN THE FUTURE.

My wife was behind me and said the right front wheel was shaking so bad it looked like it was going to fall off. Truck smelled bad, headliner ripped abs coming down, seats torn. Budget rental has nicer trucks by far. I I'm always used budget and will use budget in the future if needed

Shaun M.The lady that open on Saturday morning very late , She charged me for after hot return,an charged me a cleaning fee ,an the return area is a dirt parking lot, I felt very abused verbally an I felt like I was being scammed, … I call customer service 3 times an finally I got a great lady name Lucy who was very professional , she was able to see I tried to Ck the truck in but something wen wrong an she refunded that charge an the cleaning charge, I drove 10 miles an we didn't need the truck so we never opened the door an I put more fuel in the truck than I started with Thanks to Lucy's professionalism I became satisfied but I will not recommend this shop for anyone they are very rude an unprofessional!!$

I stood outside a office door blocked by a dog gate while he was pre occupied with his phone, not sure if he was processing my account or something else but a simple discussion or explanation of what he was doing would have been beneficial. He may have looked up twice during the event and I had to ask him to repeat the three words he said during the entire encounter. He wasn't rude, it just was not what you would expect after paying $600 for a service, not even a thank you.

Wayne D.It wasn't location it was the whole experience 1st I reserved day before location ( new kings Rd) I was sent to closed but she helped me from telephone sent me to New Berlin Rd lady attend said deposit was 50$ later found out 100$. Truck needed tune up spent 210$ on gas. Trip should hv been 150$ gas. Had no more money. Returned truck quarter tank gas 50$ taken from deposit I feel only 25$ should hv been taken from deposit because it wasn't empty I put 30$ in before returning it. $30 was all I had. I have gotten U-Haul before if ever I need again I will not use U-Haul again. & Truck on outside was very dirty.

Todd M.Definitely need to improve on customer service. After completing the initial paperwork, I was handed the keys to a truck. I thought the rental agent was going to walk me to the vehicle for a pre- inspection but instead she jumped in her car and left. I literally had to roam the property to find the rental. Upon returning the truck, she was assisting another customer. She told me yo leave the keys and she would email my final receipt. I explained I would wait as I needed to know exactly what my final cost would be. She finally called me into the office to close out my account, while complaining about another customer. Then after reviewing my charges with me, she asked for a five star rating. Overall, I really think she is a nice lady but she appeared to have too much on her plate. For me, five star ratings are earned not given.
Cullena M.First you provide me a truck on E, on E. Seriously???????? Then I am charged $10 to leave my car in the lot. Then I was over charged for the amount of furniture pads were needed. Then because I didn't leave my car in the mud parking, I had to drive all the way back over which made me go over mileage. I am not paying that additional amount.
