The location where the equipment was picked up was not kept up. All the equipment was in a dirt lot and the driveways were not maintained. Coming out of the parking are was also very dangerous due to the fact you can't see traffic coming from one way. There is a curve of a major road before the drive way. Though the staff was helpful, the condition of this location was very poor and seems to be very untrustworthy.Travis C.

My car sustained damage. I paid for assistance to have my car loaded to the trailer. When I unloaded the car I accidentally damaged a part under the engine because I didn't know there was a chain attached to the car. The Uhaul representative was working alone and she was not helpful. The neighborhood dealer itself was great. I had chosen the option to do a mobile pick up at another location. No one ever told me through email or text that the pick up location changed. I asked at the uhaul dealer last week where my Monday pick up will be. There's just not a lot of communication or clear directions with the mobile share. It makes an already stressful day of moving worse when you don't even know where to pick the truck upALLISON H.

The employee that checked us out, we very nonchalant and seemed as if she had no customer service care. She spoke as if she was just talking to a wall with a very I don't really care tone. Then they added 56 dollars too my card and claimed it was for cleaning which it was no where near enough cleaning in the van that could explain 56 dollars worth. When we arrived to drop off the trailer we rented, the business was not open yet. We left the invoice in the drop box. My husband called to let them know we had dropped off the equipment and let them know what time we had dropped it off. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and said they were not open yet. My husband called back about 30 minutes after they opened. She checked the trailer in for the time he called and charged us $30 for another day, even though the trailer had been there for nearly two hours. He called her back and explained to her that we were due that charge back, since the trailer was there. It's not our fault that they don't open until 11:00 on Sunday. I don't know about anyone else who works there, but she is very rude and we will NEVER do business with them.Anita C.

This is not an actual uhaul shop. I came to pick up my uhaul at 8:30am like they told me to and nobody was there. I called and then they told me they didn't open up until 9am when they told me to come at 8:30am. Once they arrived the lady who works there to check you out is EXTREMELY RUDE & aggressive!!!! They also charged extra fees if uhaul is dropped after 5pm. I will never use this location again if I need a uhaul rental.TANISHA G.

Was charged a 20 dollar after-hours service fee without any indication or proper reason. Was not made aware of this extra charge until 3 hours after dropping the vehicle off. I dropped off the vehicle PRIOR to the 9:00 AM drop-off time. I dropped off the vehicle at 8:57 and handed the keys to the UHaul representative by 9:00 AM. I was provided no confirmation and was told I was good to go only to find out they charged me this fee. As a customer, I should not have to go out of my way to dig into the details to ensure things are properly documented and reported. This Uhaul location has demonstrated poor customer service and I would not recommend using this location.Preston M.

First and foremost the customer service for the establishment was horrendous. I pulled up and had to find someone for help. I was told to call a phone number posted on a door. I called the number and a woman answered the phone, I explained I was trying to pickup a trailer she cut me off for my credit card number. After giving her the number she quickly gave me the trailer number explained it's location, said someone would help me and hung up. The trailer was down the street on a random lot by itself. I waited a few minutes and an older gentleman came walking up, he began to attempt to attach the trailer only to tell my my truck is to high to hook it up. I explained my Chevy Tahoe is stock and I believe the lot is just uneven. The older gentleman then explained he was heading back to his shop to get a jack. After waiting 45 minutes, I drove back to the shop to ask if the older gentleman forgot about me. He then tells me he needs to finish changing tires for 2 other customers before he could come back even though I was being helped before the 2 other customers. Drove back to the lot waiting another 20 minutes before the older gentleman finally pulled up to connect the trailer to my vehicle. After using the jack to hookup and connecting the chains I was then I don't have the correct wiring harness. I then said I don't have the time to hook it up and told me to goto a auto store and ask for one they'll know what it is. I then tried to confirm my receipt of purchase by checking my email and never found one. I proceeded to call the number I called early for pickup. I began to explain not receiving a email but was cut off and yelled at for calling a second time. I told the lady I just wanted a receipt of purchase. After yelling she confirmed my email address and hung up on me. I got the email almost 10 days later.DEMOND QUINTON W.

Very straightforward and down to business. Helpful when I was not sure of the securing device. These Auto Transport trailers have the easy latch instead of the tightening latch. Trailer was stable. Never towed before. Very easy with this equipment. Will come here again.ZACHARY H.
If they tell a customer that they close at a certain time, and the customer brings the Uhaul back by the time they checked it out it out the day before. I will never use UHAUL ever again. Customer service was terrible, had a family emergency, called in and had a different drop off location settled then they tried to charge me $500.00. Then after I brought the truck back I was charged another $125.00. I will never recommend uhaul or any of its services and never use their trucks again. Worst service and experience ever.JACKSON P.
The lady was not personable. Was not helpful just told me to put the trailer over there as if I knew where over there was said If.i could not unload the trailer I had to wait until one of here guys was available. She had one guy a machniic working on a car. I had to wait for him to finish before I got any help. Then she sent me to the other side of the yard after I had unhooked part of the trailer. It was raining, cold, and the yard was muddy. The guy finally showed up I told him to hook it back up or to take it off right there. He hooked it up I had to drive to another wet muddy yard. I Followed the guy and told him to take it off. He was having a hard time too so he had to go back to the tire place.to get some equipment to unhook the trailer. This women at the place was telling me it real easy you don't need no help. Just turn the know and it lift right up and off. My body hurts, I cut my finger, the trailer kept sinking into the wet ground and the more I turned it the more it sank. The man had the same problem. The woman was a jerk. Rhe man was humble about the situation said there was no way I would have been able to get it off. I was not a happy customer. Horrible experience.JASMINE Y.

The owner lady who was in charge was by far the most rude person that I've ever dealt with. They over charged me for miles used and lied about fuel level upon return. I have seen many reviews on this place and all of them are talking about the same thing that I am complaining about. These people should lose their privilege to rent a U-Haul vehicles to anybody. I have used this location multiple times due to it's proximity to my home in North Jax. The folks there are reasonably friendly and have always accommodated my needs. That said, the vehicles do not get cleaned and are not presented to me in this manner. There doesn't seem to be standards for a proper return of the equipment, and I've turned in my equipment directly to an employee only to be called by Uhaul the next day asking why I haven't turned in my vehicle. I realize this is an independent Uhaul shop but there should be audits and reviews of these places to ensure they are upholding the good Uhaul name.MATTHEW B.

The location is VERY difficult to get in and out of. The employees (owners?) were extremely difficult to work with. Even though I ordered online I still had to wait in line for 1/2 an hour. I also had to give my credit card information to the woman behind the counter aloud (!!) with other customers close enough to hear it. This included the code on the back. The only good thing I can say about this experience is that the truck was in good condition.Kate M.

Have employees in the office, so customers don't have to call a number. Even if the employee isn't in the office there should be a clear note stating what to do. The employee didn't show where the truck was, inspect the truck or give any paperwork for the rental before leaving the lot. Never received paperwork at all.KORTNEY H.
Employee was not trained in U Haul operations. An unrestrained pitbull dog attacked my friends dog. He followed me to the location to exchange the truck for a larger one. The truck we received was not sanitized. It was filthy. I found used PPE, trash behind the seat,coolaid spilled all over the dashboard, etc.James L.

The woman who called to take our payment asked for a reference. I have never been asked for one when renting a moving truck. We provided, our reference was never contacted. When we went to pickup the truck the man there told us to call the number for Uhaul - we did and the woman (same woman) said that he should just give us our key and we would be on our way. The communication is lacking. He should have made that call - not us. He did not walk over the truck with us - look for any damage - nothing was said to us about gas - but because we are educated and have done this a few times - we knew to return with more or at the same level of gas than received. OVERALL - it was convenient but the back-n-forth was a bit much.Billy A.

I was overcharged for the mileage of the vehicle. I was charged for 100 miles when I only used approximately 50 miles. I sent an email to the location without a response and was charged nearly $200 for a 17' truck that was picked up and returned the same day. The cargo area of the truck was clean but the cab, not so much.Leo E.

The checkout process was a bit of a scam. The one question I had to answer yes to incurred a $25 cleaning charge. You should word this question so it can be answered NO like all the others. If I had not closely looked at my bill, I would not have caught it. I think this is intentional on your part and a scam.Christopher B.
I arrived at 11 am for my scheduled pick up. I was told the owner would be there in 20 minutes. I called the 1-800 number after 40 minutes. I was assured by uhaul the owner ran out for a few minutes. The owner did not arrive at the location until 12:15. She informed me that uhaul says she is open at 11 but she gets there at noon. The location is on a blind turn it is difficult leaving.Travis B.

Highly unprofessional. I reserved a 10ft truck & she had a 20ft truck waiting, she didn't check the 10ft before assigning it then registered the fuel as full & truck as clean even though neither was the case. Her payment system wasn't working & I had to make two seperate transactions then when I realized what happened with incorrect fuel levels she wouldn't answer the phone! Don't go here if you absolutely don't need to.Jean M.
