Great experience. Reserved trailer and checked in online before arrival. I arrived earlier than expected but the trailer was there, it took only 3-4 minutes to check in, the staff hooked up my trailer in the pouring rain and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. The nice lady at the desk was friendly and interactive. Masks were required as well as distancing. Hand wash/spray materials available. Definitely a great place to rent a U-Haul. I even completed the project and returned the trailer a day early and they issued me a partial refund!!! Great experience overall!!!Ollie A.

I used a van to move a tv. Had the van hours. I was charged 25 dollars for cleaning. How unclean can a tv in a box make a van driven with no passenger. I dont recommend this location. When office personnel leave to go out on the lot a phone number should be post at the door and that employee should have the phone with them and answer it. I had a 3 pm pick schedule, arrived 10 minutes early and found door locked. The phone number posted on the door, when I called multiple times no one answer. The employee finally came back to the office at 3:10 pm. So I waited outside for about 20 minutes.Christopher B.

More than half of the lights on the trailer were not working. When I called this location to report it and try to get it resolved I was told that I had to get the 1800 number from the email they did not have it on hand to give to me. They seem to not care for my safety towing their trailer. When I returned it to this site they wanted to know all about the lights and then resolve it. Is safety a concern to uhaul?chris B.

Signs weren't visible. I thought I was in the wrong place. I asked was this uhaul when I walked in and she rudely pointed to a small uhaul sign near the bottom of the door amidst many larger signs on the door. And rudely said there's a sign there and one there! I continued to get a rude attitude throughout the whole ordealByron B.

The person who was issuing the trailer did not know what she was doing. She kept losing the information in the computer, and even though I did an per-registration on line, she kept asking for the information which was in the computer. It took over an hour to get the trailer, and meanwhile, the line was backing up behind me. Maybe it is not the attendants fault. Maybe she wasn't trained properly.Monroe C.

Outstanding Customer support! I was pulling a UHaul Trailer from Nebraska to Virginia, Prospect KY was my stop for the night place. The trailer's light harness had disconnected from my car and was damaged by the road. I needed a replacement section of the light harness to replace the damaged part to enable safe lights on my trailer. I called ahead to "My Uhaul Dealer" and contacted the UHaul manager (Paul, dealer #26434) at 13306 West Highway 42, Prospect KY 40059. I explained my situation and my requirement. I don't know Paul nor have I ever met him. I was a voice on the phone who required assistance from UHaul. First, Paul expressed concern to get the trailer lighting fixed for safe driving at night. Second, Paul offered to stay for 2 hours after closing time, until I arrived to ensure the correct part was replaced and to ensure proper operation of the trailer lights was restored. I declined the offer so as not to inconvenience the manager, especially after closing time. Finally, Paul call me back and authorized me to stop by his dealer location, to swap a good wire harness from one of his similar trailers and leave my damaged one behind... AT NO CHARGE. The customer care, his kindness, support and trust provided to me, a stranger but a customer, in a time of need, is commendable and a noteworthy example to the quality of character and leadership shown by this Uhaul Manager. My wife was given a quote of $153. When I picked up trailer, I was charged $173.80. I filed a complaint at Deer Park U-Haul in Newport News and the Owner/Manager gave me a written quote of $153 after tax for the same destination (she had to submit an "alternate price request"). Godfrey Waswa from U-Haul responded and said it was due to price change. U-Haul Reference #1845763. I think I am owed $20.80 because the difference of the original online quote to my wife, the same quote from Deer Park manager (after Ocean Storage had charged me the the $20.80 excessive fee).Preston L.
