Didn't open for another hour, which would have put me bast my 24hr time limit so they checked me out early

We had to wait an hour for someone who could rent it showed up even though they knew when we would be there. The truck was dirt inside. The check engine was on the entire time I had it and a check gas cap warning.

Office only has 1 person who knows what all needs to be done. I waited for 45 minutes while the other sales clerk was trying to do the U haul agreement who does not normally do U Haul and also work as the only general store cashier and clerk. Once the employee who does U Haul showed up it went very smoothly. I think the other employees should be trained to be able to do U Haul in case they are required to get a U Haul rental done.

I was frustrated that by arriving over 24 hours early I wasn’t reimbursed ANYTHING. That’s crazy to me as I know what it costs to rent one just for 24 hours. I figured some part of $1500 would be refunded to me, but nope. They said it’s uhaul policy. Not their fault but I’d like to talk someone that again could somehow right some of this mess of a rental experience.
