Store was full of what looked like homeless people, eating and just standing around. The attendant was eating chicken while waiting on me. The truck was dirty, tires needed air and the washer fluid light was on

We reserved a truck at company location ,they told us we were on the list and sent us to another location. I called hot line an hour before we arrived there and they told us we had truck there.

Oak Street Food Mart was very helpful on helping us with our uhaul. And also very friendly. I would recommend them to any one. But always having problems with uhaul over charging. This would be my third time renting a truck and have had issues with uhaul it self charging for a extra day we did not use. We owed them $32 and now it's $107. I wished they wouldn't charge us for things that we didn't even get.

Hmmm...nice people to work with...1. maybe have them ‘explain’ prior to taking my drivers license that they must take a photo of it with their personal phones to submit...2.explain that upon drop-off a copy of my rental receipt must be attached to keys would be helpful, unless this is a per site request and they didn’t know it?!

Very dangerous part of town. I had requested a pickup in a more convenient part of town only to be notified of a last minute change. I would not recommend anyone going to this location. There were drug dealers hanging out in the parking lot openly selling drugs and a hooker walk into store while I was renting my truck.

The store owner/clerk double charged me intentionally and when I questioned the charges he became rude and aloof, hoping to rush me along. If I was not adamant about an explanation and followed up with uhaul.com I would've just been ripped off. Very poor customer service and manipulation of prices. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This vehicle was not safe. You put me and my family at risk. The driver’s side headlight was out. The passenger side rear view mirror was broken and wouldn’t stay in place. The driver’s side window crank was broken. There was broken glass in the back. It had not been cleaned. I would never recommend this UHaul location.

You should let people know you will give their reserved truck away if they are late picking it up. Had I known that I would have called to let them know I would be picking up later than originally planned. I reserved the truck and checked in on line. I did not know that wasn’t enough for Uhaul to honor the reservation. Unexpected events come up when you are moving. I had such an experience and had no idea when I arrived at the Bardstown Rd location to pick up my reserved, checked in, truck it wouldn’t be there and I would be sent to a very undesirable and unsafe location to pick up a truck from someone who said he didn’t have a particular truck when Bardstown Rd had told me he did just fifteen minutes before. I had to wait while the man kept ringing up customers to get the truck and get going. This is a convenience store not a Uhaul office. I also got charged additional mileage because I was inconvenienced and had to pick up the truck so far away from my location. It would be nice if the Uhaul agent would pick up the phone and confirm you are still picking up the truck after you have gone to the trouble of making a reservation and doing the online check in before they just rent it to someone else without notice. Unless this practice is changed I will never use Uhaul in the future. Also you need to set up an office at your Oak St. location. The convenience store deal is unprofessional and frustrating.

I am getting charged for a dolly and 6 moving pads that I did not even rent and when I got the truck is was messy garbage was left in the back of the truck and in the cab I had to clean all of that out I am not paying for the dolly and 6 moving pads cause i didn't even get those things and if I knew I could of kept the truck till today at 1230 I would of kept it cause I got paid for it till today when I didn't have it a full day on the last day thank j

Location was fine, not a great part of town, but that's fine. What wasn't made clear was that my contract for a 4 day move was based off 4x 24 hour periods from the hour of pick up, not 4 calendar days after pick up. This caused another $40 charge I wasn't planning on. Also, I didn't see anywhere where I had a mileage limit. I was under the impression it was unlimited miles, which also caused another $41.60 charge.

The truck was filthy in both the cab and the storage area. Upon return the owner wanted me to clean the truck, and threatened that I would be charged for returning the truck dirty. I explained to him how I the truck had been hastily rented to me. The issue was resolved but there seems to be some inconsistency with how/whom they rent and receive their equipment after use.

My truck was blocked in so I had to call for a new truck. This took over 45 minutes. When I finally got a new truck, it was missing the dolly I rented, so I had to go to another location.

The clerc was in a hurry, and did not bother to explain anything. I had to call U-haul later for questions. I expect at least the person to be civilized, courteous, most people would wish a safe drive or safe move. I did several moves using U-haul before.

use the location that was selected when I reserved the rental. I chose to rent and return from the locations chose because of proximity to our move in, the airport and the rating for each location.

When I picked up the truck it the fuel tank was on empty. Warnong signal said 5 miles before completely empty. The associae said it needed fuel during sign out and advised that I put in 30 dollars or I would be charged extra. The associate helping me said dont worry return fuel as I recieved it. i put $20 dollars in the fuel tank and I was still charged extra $ 31 dollars on return after being told I get a discount for taking a truck with low fuel. I will calling in to yo4 facility tomorrow. I estimated 20 mile drive and I only drove 10 and returned the vehicle within 2 hrs with a 1/4 tank of fuel.
