Uhaul app was absolutely terrible and took 3 representatives to actually get the online verification to work. Didn't end up getting the truck until an hour after my pick up time. Ended up having to try a few times on a web browser, never got the app to verify the selfie photo.Mitchell J.

The lock for the key box was so hard to open. It took me 30mins to figure it out. It needs to pull hard to unlock. The uhaul app was so slow and it freeze then error. I have to sign in again, it end up that i was not able to upload starting fuel level bcoz i was rushing. In the end i have top up more gas.Rodalyn G.
I am never going to use U-hall and I will ask all my friends to do the same until a manager talks to me. We encountered 3 major issues when returning our car and when I finally as put through to a manager and I explained kindly the problem to the manager the manager sudennly hang up on me. I called again, I talked to another manager and after a 2 minute conversation he hang up on me. U-hall phones did not work last night, the Iphone app did not accept my pictures and more....Zbigniew S.

When I reserved the truck I exactly took off the safe insurance, I saw it around $36.95 then I pit the order. When I paid the bill the safe insurance came up. The bill is ridiculous! I would not rent a uhaul anymore!MEI L.

The location is good but the truck not. I'd recommend to truck before giving it to your customers. The truck had a crack on the top and the water was coming through and damage all my boxes. I blame my self for to checking it out the truck bit at the same time it should be responsibility of the business not the customers. I still payed full price.Jhonatan N.

The key locker code didn't work and after a lot of trouble to figure out how to return the trucks keys I had do drop it trough the mail door.Guilherme F.

the gas mileage a 10' truck is supposed to get is around 12 miles per gallon (4 miles per litre), but this truck was doing 1 mile per litre. The only thing we moved with the truck was a king sized mattress. The truck was not even close to fully loaded. I drove 24 miles and it took 25 litres to fill it back to the starting point. Thats 4 miles per gallon. That doesnt seem right at all. Ive never heard of such terrible gas mileage and it ended up costing me a lot of money. It cost me $127 to drive 30K to move a mattress. when the truck is advertised as $19.99 for in-town moves, that seems like false advertising.Kate F.
It is about my order on August 2nd. I was unable to check in or out the truck online. The same thing happened to me on the rental on July 26. So I was experienced of it. Even I turned on the â€œlocation serviceâ€ on my phone. So when I need to go into the shop (Nuk Bazaar - Burnaby, BC) to pick up my track. As I know my scheduled drop off hour. The shop is closed. So when I pick up the truck I already told the lady that I can't return the track online. She told me to wrap the key in an envelope and drop off in their front door mailbox. Which is exactly what I did that evening at 6:30pm. Which was only a 3.5 hour rental on the track. They charged me â€œAfter shop hour chargeâ€ even though I follow the instruction. I called the shop right away when I see the invoice. They denied everything they said. On top they charge me $10 cleaning charge. Reason is they need to sweep out the dust. I was just moving boxes and there's nothing dirty about it. I feel strongly that the shop just charged people small extra amount and hoping no one complains about it. I definitely very disappointed on my experience this time. I rented the U-haul truck twice within two weeks. What a huge difference on experience on the two different locations.Chi Yuen C.

Very difficult to park the uhaul here when completed our move. There's no dedicated parking for uhaul vans, and when we arrived there was no available space to park it. Had to wait a very long time for an available space in the same lot to open, parked there and was later made to move it again once another space opened that was next to other uhaul vehicles.Jesse James S.

The location name listed on the UHaul website for this location is incorrect. The correct name should be "Mang Isko Filipino Store". Additionally there are no address markers showing 4959 Kingsway. This location was extremely difficult to find. The interior of the truck was not clean, it was dirty and the center console was sticky with some sort of spilled beverage.Chris S.
Truck was wet from inside+ very strong smell of Gasoline or paint ( my couch that I transported got dirty wet and smelly of pain) I rented a upholstery machine to clean it and remover the smell and the dirt from it.) I took pictures of the water and inside the truck. Am not happy. HonestlyIssam E.

First of all location is very hard to find. Asian grocery store Mang Iskor is what you need to look for to find it not Nuk Bazaar. Second the uhaul app is very buggy. Cannot post pictures so ended up having to check-in person. Padlock was kept by the uhaul rep which was a big hassle for us returning after hours because you will need the padlock to check out leaving the keys inside the back of the truck and no one to call. Again mobile app was buggy cannot check out properly so I ended up wasting over an hour trying to call someone from uhaul and eventually just left the keys inside the truck and locked it. Never again using mobile app. Waste of time.Jeus carlos B.
