The hours posted at the return location stated they close at 5pm. Our return location was 20 miles away from our destination. We rushed to get there before 5p to avoid the after hours charge. No one was there to receive even at 4pm. So we had to leave the trailer and hope for the best. Very run down area. What if someone had stolen the trailer then we may have been held responsible for not returning the trailer. Very poor set up. It leaves the customer very vulnerable and responsible for things out of the customer’s control. It was difficult to rent as well. Our reservation was a for a completely different pick up place and time frame. The size trailer was switched without telling us. Not an easy or pleasant experience.

This was way out of my way, suppose to be open till 12, no one there at 11 30. When I ask for a place near Blacksburg response was busy weekend, again I order this truck weeks ago. This was a terrible experience, not told anything about possible changes, I will not recommend u haul to anyone. Know one seemed to care about my experience, this is our policy was all I was told

Steering wheel was sticky. Cups holders filthy. Cashew nuts and bags on the floor. Truck kept going in and out of stibilitstabilizer trouble. Most horrible experience in renting a truck. Never coatings phone number is wrong. And the place is a hole in the wall.

Reservation changed by UHaul at the last minute. The new dealer did not have the unit. Then spent 30 on hold trying to contact customer service. VERY FRUSTRATING!

This is a remote location. I think they need to have a bigger inventory. I took all the furniture pads they had (24) my order was for 36. The person who checked me out was very nice and quick.

I got charged an extra 15 dollars for mileage because the location I selected in Christianburg didn’t have a truck and I was moved 10 miles away!!!!

This was the second drop off location I attempted to use after the original location was also closed. I contacted Uhaul customer service to determine where to drop off. I was advised that this location was open until 5:00, when I arrived around 3:30 it was also closed. Customer service then advised that I could drop off without the location being open. The first customer service representative I spoke with did not provide this as an option after the original location was closed. None of the paperwork I received indicated the hours of the drop off locations. By having to drive to a second location, in the opposite direction I was traveling, my trip was extended by more than an hour. Not a good customer experience. For in town rentals, when I have returned the rental to the same pick up location, I have had a great experience. For out of town drop offs, I will look at alternative rental companies in the future.

Have the truck delivered to the appropriate location where the truck was originally reserved. No smoking in offices would be more appropriate as well.
