the truck was given to us with no gas - it was even below the E line. we were also asked to come in early to get the truck before they closed even though it was noted as a 24/7 location. the battery also died 30 min in to our move. The battery is probably not the location's error but they definitely should not be giving trucks to new customers with zero gas in it. The first thing we had to do was hurry to a gas station.Amanda B.

The keys for our uhaul truck arrived late from the previous renter. We had scheduled a 15' uhaul for 11:00 am but the keys did not arrive until 12:45pm The location was accommodating because they gave us a 24 hour rental for free but we would have rather just had the rental on time. Moving is stressful as it is.Charles D.
My husband lost keys on the premises and called to ask after them. The employee said they hadn't seen them but didn't look particularly hard--my husband came back later anyway, after looking everywhere else, and found them.Mary R.

I was not told about an "after hours fee" of $20. I had the equipment for less time than rented (rented for 24 hours, but returned it in the lot after 12 hrs). I would have had to drop it in the lot regardless as they aren't open on Sundays, so I don't know why I was charged for dropping it off Saturday night.Stacy P.

On the contract it said that if the car dolly didn't work out we would be refunded. It didn't work out and when we came back and told them it didn't work they said since we took it off the lot and we had it for a little over an hour they would not give us a refund. It took 10 minutes for her to do the paper work and another 15 to hook up the dolly and make sure the lights worked. Which they didn't. She also said that in the hour we could have towed it and brought it back. So it took 25 minutes to just leave the place and another 10 minutes to get to the car. So we some how hooked up a car, drove it 17 miles in rush hour traffic on 522, unhooked the car and drove back in 25 minutes. And how many times does the car brake down in the parking lot of a u-haul.Lisa S.

I am very unhappy with my experience. I reserved the trailer for 11 AM but called in the morning to say I wouldn't be able to arrive until 12:15 PM. I was not told that the "clock started ticking" at 11 AM, even though I picked up the equipment at 12:15. I returned the trailer at 12:15 the following day and was not told I'd be charged for a second day, as was 75 minutes late. The store associate was not helpful, and when I suggested I'd come back and would like to keep the trailer for another day since I'd paid for another 24 hours, she angrily told me that would be theft and she'd call the police. I was acting in good faith, returning the trailer within the 24 hour time period, clean, and in perfect condition. This feels like UHaul care not one whit about customer service and only wants to gauge the customer for extra money when possible. Very distressing experience:(Brook W.
We rented a 26 ft truck. The driver's door was NOT seal. It was so loud that we had to open the window from Seattle to Portland and back. It was not a pleasant drive, but the worse experience I had with a U-Haul truck. The seat belt on the driver's side need to be checked because it got shorter and shorter until I can't breathe - had to take it off every 30 minutes during the drive.Yeng X.

I noticed customers hitching U-Haul trailers up to vehicles, I thought it's policy to get help with this. Also, the truck was very dirty as there was stale donuts under the seat, and I could barely see out of the windshield. The lady that worked with me was very nice though.wesly Y.

Uhaul needs to have someone to move product to convenient locations. I made the reservation at a convenient location but reservation people had me go 42 miles out of my way to get trailer. Other than that all was a good experience and I will use haul again in the futureSteve S.

Confusing location. Charged for parking my car in a nearly empty strip mall parking lot. Did not have the vehicle I requested. Had to take the smaller cargo van. Did not finish my job. But will not return to that location.Marilyn J.

There was no one at the facility able to lift the heavy trailer tongue from the ball hitch. I am strong enough to do it myself, but some people would not be able to. Also they asked me to carry the one dozen pads into the store. I asked them to bring a cart out and get them, so one of them did. But they did not fit well on the cart so I ended up carrying half of them in anyway. My point: seems they depend on the customer to do the work, even during business hours.David E.

Provide the requested equipment at the location the customer chose and not redirect them to a different location 35 miles away and then notify them about it 1 day before pickup time. This poor treatment erodes trust.James A.
Definitely recommend Maria and her staff that were very helpful, I have the U-Haul App (which is to drop off after hours) and started the rental and she was able to finish everything needed so we could use a very balanced 5'x8' trailer. Thank you!!!Michael J.

The items had reserved where not at location. Lady was less then nice when talking with me. Her lack of customer service and friendliness puts you off. I would not recommend this location to anyone-LIsa M.
I was charged safe tow and another $5 charge without my authorization. When I questioned the charge she (Maria) waved me off. This CANNOT be the practice! My pickup location was moved three times, tripling my original travel time. When I showed up to pick-up the U-Haul, the person in charge of rentals had "stepped out" for a moment, and didn't return for 30 minutes. I rented 24 blankets, and the location only had seven. So I was sent to ANOTHER location to get the other 17 blankets. They had no idea I was coming, and it took 30 minutes - as they had to call to verify that I could take the blankets. The UHaul had a leak in the ceiling of the cab, and was rusting, so we've been cleaning dried rust water out of a large portion of our possessions since we've moved.Ben C.
