Getting the uhaul was a nightmare. It took me an hour because the person at the location can't help you and the app didn't provide the right code to get the key. The key wasn't in the right location. In all, I called customer service twice and wasted an hour doing it.

I have rented from U-Haul for over 30 years during which time I have always been pleased except for my most recent experience. I had a reservation (26607599) on November 10th to pick up a 17’ van at U-Haul at Westminster (8001 Federal Blvd, Westminster CO). When I got there, I waited an hour to be served, they did not have my 17’ van and when I tried to rent a 15’ van that they had available, their computer system crashed and I left after two hours without a rental van. They did not honor my reservation and their service was the worst I ever experienced from U-Haul. I will never return to that location and if anyone asks I will tell them to avoid U-Haul at Westminster. I called your 800 number to complain and was told I would receive a $50 check for not honoring the reservation. The check has still not arrived. I was also referred to your location at 6990 N. Federal, where I was successfully able to rent a 15’ van.

I was over charged for my rental. The place that I set up reservation at overbooked and did not have enough trucks and I was forced to rent from some shitty hole in the earth gas station. The guy who assisted me with the check I was sketchy and did not record the information properly for mileage and miles. When I asked why he stated "no one can prove it". This was the worst experience of my life.

The truck was in good condition overall, but the back of the truck was dusty with dark, fine dust inside. The rental facility has a lot of smoking paraphernalia which makes it feel more like a head shop than a convenience store, but the people that work there are friendly. The location is very convenient for me (close to home), or else I'd likely go somewhere else.

Attendant was extremely rude when dropping off. He said he wanted to go home and I would be sent a final bill by email tomorrow. I explained to him I wanted a hard Copy receipt had to argue just to get one. Not very customer service friendly at all the man also made it a point to show off a pistol in his waistband I was very uncomfortable with the whole situation.

The U-Haul was not clean when we picked it up, but that was not a huge problem for us. But we do bring a broom with us and it was clean when we dropped off. However when we pick it up it was very very slightly over half a tank of gas. (The indicator was still touching the half tank line ) The man who sold it to us told us not to overfill it because there is no refund and just bring it back with half a tank. When I returned it there was a different person there and he said it was not over half a tank “enough”. The indicator was not sitting on half a tank it was sitting exactly where it was when we picked up the truck. we tried to explain this to him and he said because it said “over” half a tank he had to have us return it with more than half a tank. This Became a losing battle of semantics since the indicator was clearly over half a tank. So we were given the option of purchasing more gas to get to the point he liked it or him charging us ridiculous amount for gas. We put in $2 dollars more. And this brought it to a point he liked .We have used in the store before and the other fellow has always been the one we have interacted with and he has always been incredibly amenable and helpful.

It was very hard to find the right location as either the original address that Uhaul gave me was wrong or Google Maps was wrong. If not for the other Uhauls I saw in the parking lot I would never have found it.

I was contacted after reserving the truck online. The lady said I'd get special pricing if I were to return the truck to a different location. I agreed. Time came to return the truck. I arrived on time and was told by the lady at this location that they did not have room for the truck I was returning. I in turn had to make calls to get this problem solved. Then I had to return the truck to the original store that I had picked it up from. This store is across town. Also since I wasn't returning the truck to a different store, the deal that was offered to me was no longer valid. Then I spent more time driving to the original location, and had to put in more gas to insure it was full upon return as to not be charged. This in turn, turned out to be a very time consuming and expensive. Then after all was said and done no one ever contacted me in regards to the "mix up" even though I was assured that someone would. Extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time and money.

Are you kidding me. One hour yup 1 hour to get my rental truck. I even pre reserved it on the phone gave credit card info so I could just pick it up at 68th and Federal in Denver. Store busy. No. Truck there. Yes. Computer issues maybe. Talked with Uhaul, one lady even hung up on me when she told me the price was 89 bucks when I told her that my quote on my reservation showed 63 which by the way was correct. Finally got "Bug" fixed and was on my way an hour late. Then Murphy's law took over. CAR wreck on the exit ramp 8 cars in front of me. Locked up all traffic could not move for 45 minutes. Don't sound like a lot of time but there are two people waiting for me at the other end to get this move done Thanks U-Haul

Gentleman waited on 5-6 other customers who came in after me. It was a hot day and I was in a hurry to pack the truck, and had a sick person and a baby waiting in the other car with me. Nothing was explained to me about the truck, esp. the fact that it would only reach 70 mph on highways. Not very personal, although I realize there was only 1 attendant at the desk. Truck was in good shape, easy to operate

The location is a convenience store that seems to be about 50% smoke shop, 50% gas / convenience store. The building is dark, and the Uhaul rental area is simply a laptop sitting on top of a crowded counter. To me, it didn't impart a feeling of professionalism or welcome. The people at the location are friendly though, and it's convenient that the location is also a gas station, making refueling of the truck easy.

The location was a Uhaul pick up / convenience store / paraphernalia shop. A person interrupted my rental pick up transaction in order to purchase a glass crack pipe. I had pre-paid and completed my paperwork prior to arrival and they still took 30+ minutes before I was able to leave with the equipment designated for me. Also of note, when I set my reservation to pick up the equipment I indicated BZ Enterprises Inc 12015 Irma Dr Northglenn, CO 80233, which is less than a mile from my home so I'm not sure how I ended up getting re-booked at this location at 6990 N. Federal more than 10 miles from my home. This was very annoying considering you will also charge me overage mileage. I should also note- I reserved a 26" truck for 1/28 when I place my reservation on 1/13 and you were unable to accommodate that request 2 weeks later when I needed to pick up. This was very poor fleet management on U-Haul's part, and very unsatisfactory from the customer perspective.

Do NOT try to call!! It is a run around & a very obnoxious chatter, chatter, chatter for a VERY VERY long Hold Time!! And the web-site--Again-TERRIBLE. Questions POORLY answered! Poor site-map. Maybe it was for a professional not a lay-man. Was awful. Truck was fine. No problems there, but getting there was a pain. Probably will Not recommend to anyone else.

The place took over twenty minutes to rent me the truck. There was only one person there. He keep stoping and check others out and having me wait. Then he didn't even look over the truck with me. The other thing is that the store mostly sold drug supply. I personally choice not to go into facilities that have any of this stuff due to my job

I reserved truck a week early confirmed the day before pickup time. Truck was not on full take and the back was not cleaned out.

The original location was on York St. However, an hour before we were to pick up the truck they called to sqy that they didn't have the equipment we ordered and changed it to a larger truck at the N Federal location. They neglected to tell us that it was a convenience store rather than a UHaul retail store. That caused a little confusion but we called them back and got the clarification. The original location gave use different information on the pricing and the need for or not need for a deposit at the time of pickup. Everyone I talked to had a different story. Since we were running a bit close on cash the day of the move that was a problem. There were at least 4 different opinions on what we needed to have on the card, The guy at the N Federal location eventually sorted it out at an amount that we could work with. Because of the change of location we ended up having to return the truck 3 hours early to accommodate his next renters. That shorted us and we still have some large items that we are going to have to figure out how to get from storage to our new location. The guy at N Federal was great. The original location at York St where we made the reservation was not very good. I won't recommend them for sure.

We received our confirmation, but when we went to pick up our truck we were informed there was no truck available. There was a larger truck out front and we asked about it. The customer service agent told us we could have it, but we would have to pay more. We explained that it wasn't our fault the truck wasn't available and after several minutes he agreed to give us the bigger truck for the price we had already set with our reservation. We had done online check-in to make in-store time quicker and easier. Unfortunately, since he had to make a new reservation and manually adjust the price, it took a long time. Especially since every time a customer came into the gas station, he would leave us to help them. Once we finally got the keys, we had to wait for people to stop coming in so the customer service agent, who was working all by himself, could go to the storage area outside and retrieve the dolly we had also reserved. Very frustrating experience and a sketchy location.

Did not check vehicle when I picked it up , but wanted to check for dings when I returned it. Mirror was broken, had tape on it, so you couldn't adjust it . I filled it with way more gas than when I picked it up. But they wanted to dispute that. Felt like I was being scammed the whole time !

If I had been shopping for drug paraphernalia this was probably a great stop. As a uhaul rental location, it left pretty much everything to be desired. One clerk on the premises, so each time someone came in to buy gas, or cigarettes, or a soda, I had to wait. This also meant that I had to hook the trailer up to my truck by myself. I had planned to purchase a trailer hitch here too, but they didn't sell them. I had to drive to a different location for help making this purchase and then go back to the first location to pick up the trailer. If I were uhaul, I would advertise this as a location with the most limited services and no supplies. This way they won't be wasting their customers time and fuel.

This whole week was a hassle, #1 they got my reservation wrong the initial dealer on 67 and federal name Jose said he would have the truck I needed after I has called 6 other surrounding locations who were no help at all spoke to representative after representative who couldnt/wouldn't assist me in accommodating my needs then calls two days later says he can't have it ready and I should get a call from u haul within 48 his I called him (jose) back numerous times who was no help I never received a call from u haul to confirm reservation the best they could tell me when I called was I would have to rent a truck from Thornton which was 10 miles or of my way both Directions and I would need to pay for mileage trying abuse my money situation as it was, so then I get an email the day before saying my truck will be ready at 69th And federal I get there my reservation is all screwed up the gas station tenant has all the wrong information says there is Nothing he can do about it makes me get on the phone with u haul ( which I have to look up the number and information myself), I spent 45 minutes on hold and getting hung up on trying to wait for a representative before getting a hold of somebody and getting transferred again just get hung up on and have to wait another 15 minutes to finally get an answer and some Help, during this whole time the gas station attendant has no intentions in helping me out instead caters to his other customers and leaves me trying to figure out this situation by myself and then confronts me in a fighting disruptive manner tell me about me being a Bad customer, all in all the service was completely horrible I would love to speak with manager or somebody about it it is just not the way business should be run is not the first time I have ever rented a u-haul this is the worst experience I've ever had

This place is a convenience store / head shop that rents U-Haul trailers. No help in hooking up. Its a good thing I had experience hooking up a car hauler, If I had asked my wife to get the trailer she would have had a big problem. Only 1 person working, waiting on convenience store customers before helping me and during helping me. I used the excessive wait time to "admire" all the bongs that were on display.

Not impressed with the pickup location at all, would not recommend. Shady gas station filled with marijuana and smoking pipes/paraphernalia, among other things. Not well kept at all, from the outside it looked like a run down gas station that was not even in use. When I picked up the car hauler, the person that did my Uhaul paperwork did not even go outside to show me to the car hauler or advise on hook-up procedures/safety (I did not need it, but still there was 0 effort there). When I returned the car hauler, again the person (a different guy) did not even go outside to check things out or assist with anything. The guys were nice enough, but it was obvious Uhaul servies are an after thought. The only pro: the car hauler worked fine, other than a slight pull to the left when trailer brakes were engaged.

The truck radio did not work and the vents (a/c and air) had a high pitched noise. Very annoying for 1500 miles. Tried to use the free month of storage with the truck rental, nothing within an hour of our house even though there are at least 4 storage locations within 20 minutes of the house.

Not a good Uhaul location. The couldn't even do the renting through their system. They told me to online and get a reservation first even though I was at their location. I had to go on my cell phone to get the reservation.
