I had to extend my rental. When I did I told them I did not want to keep the insurance. I was told that was not possible. Also, returned trailer on Monday a day early and was not credited for the day. Trailer wiring harness pin broke off in my truck.

1-Checkin process is not customer friendly. Very cumbersome & time consuming. Too technology-oriented obviously for benefitting Uhaul & not the customer. 2-Trailer condition inside was fine overall but there were a couple pieces of trash on the floor that could/should have been picked up or swept up.

Staff were very thorough in their communications. I had a ball hitch for my truck but it was the wrong type. Staff let me borrow the proper ball hitch. They were exceptionally helpful and professional.

I followed the 55MPH guidance and no interstates. I drove from colorado springs to Michigan and it was the most dangerous drive ever. Signs should be on the back of all trailers letting other drivers know the max speed so they don't rear end people, or get pissed at the driver for being slow on purpose. The road rage for holding up 1 lane hwys is real. The trailer also damaged my air shocks on my new truck. There were so many times that I slowed down on a 65mph HIGHWAY to 35mph because the trailer bounced on the crappy roads I had to take. Now the company Uhaul wants my feedback, but controls the questions so it seems the company will always look good this way. I was not warned about the trailer not taking minor bumps well and to drive for 36hrs with the fear you will cause an accident for driving slow is unacceptable. Now what am I supposed to do with 1,800 worth of air suspension damages the trailer caused?

Your trailer leaked and all my stuff got wet inside the closed trailer. I mentioned it when I dropped it off and the guy said I could file a claim before I dropped it off but not after I didn't even know if my stuff worked cause I barely got everything unloaded let a lone plugged in or inventoried.

Corporate uhaul scheduler did not correctly put in the amount of days I needed the trailer. So I had to then call back the scheduler. They assured me that they corrected the days for me. Then the next day I get a call from the drop off location asking where I was with the trailer. I needed it 1 more day, and since the corporate scheduler screwed up - the poor family waiting for this trailer for a long move was out of luck. I felt terrible but it was corporates mistake (not the drop off location).

The attendant met me outside, in the rain to unhook the trailer before I even had time to get out of the truck. She even asked me if the trailer did okay. I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. What a contrast to where I picked it up from.

The U-Haul we used had trash and garbage stashed away behind our seats. So it was kind of gross. And the fact I already did all of the information online I had to refill it all out in person, it was kind of annoying.

Allow access to Corporate accounts on Saturday. I had one hell of a time getting help on Saturday. The personal at the rental location was of no help either. Someone screwed up my reservation and my charge card was charged over $7000.00 for two day rental. They had me going 14000 miles in two day which would be 300 MPH for 48 hours to rack up those kind of miles.

Didn't need someone from a regional area to call a couple of times to ‘assist' with my check-in, especially after they knew my pickup time, etc. My local rep had already took care of pre-check-in just fine. A waste of their/my time to someone who wasn't even involved to call me.

The snow could have been removed prior to me taking possession of the unit. And it was indicated to me at the desk that the truck was full. In fact it was not and I had to put 6 gallons of gas into the truck to get it to full as agreed. I only drove the truck 24 miles.

Truck was returned within a hair of the quarter tank line, which was required. I was charged $43.50 anyway. To add insult to injury, Diane attempted to (incorrectly) charge me AN EXTRA DAY ($89.50) though she could not explain why she even did and didn't apologize for the BS which over-drew my card and left me with nothing until it's given back IN THREE BUSINESS DAYS. After the initial complaint, nobody even contacted me back for nearly four hours to reverse the charge and explain what was going on. The communication was poor--including a young man telling me to "calm down" (fyi, at no point in the history of ever has a woman calmed down following this phrase, young man)--the follow-up and attention to the matter was dismal. I will not EVER use this service again...and actually will not ever patronize this business outside of u-haul services either. Incredibly poor customer service.

Linda was GREAT and A LOT of fun to talk with. Everyone was VERY helpful (and no, they did not pay me for this comment, LOL) and come this Spring, I will be renting from them again. i initially tried to rent a vehicle from Gaylord, MI Meyer location and the women I spoke with was USELESS. The Alpena location, very professional and great fun to deal with!
