The provided truck lock was broken and clearly not working before we got the truck. He hinted around as if we damaged it. Funny part is that was the first thing he walked to and checked when we returned the truck. It wasn't checked when we picked the truck up though lol. He tried to push and say we didn't put enough gas in it when actually we put in just a smidge over from what we received. Besides the customer service being shady, the truck it's self was probably one of the roughest trucks I've rented. The noises and the ride itself was rough. At the end of the day it did the job but I'll probably stick with the competitor.Shannon A.

Was secretly charged for the safe drive 14$ insurance.. the man admitted he added it and that I should have looked better.. he didn't ask if I wanted the additional insurance or that I could deny it he just charged it to me.. I would recommend a new clerk. The gentleman had poor customer service even at the sign out. He took a personal call while I was on time for the reservation. Then at the time of vehicle return, he claimed that he explained that we had to notify him before leaving with the truck that the cart would be charged if it is out of zip tie. We failed to check and when we opened the truck offsite, it seems the cart was off its zip tie. We tried to explain this to the clerk. He raised his voice and rudely blamed me for this. I explained I wasn't looking for an out, I was in a hurry to do some book donations. He then admitted that he recalled us telling him we already had a cart we owned. Then further added "I don't give a damn what you were doing - you were suppose to tell me if the cart was off its zip tie" In hindsight - I probably should have checked. However, I was driving off with the expectation the truck was in a condition that most U-Haul locations are. In mint condition and everything in tact. I am not seeking any refund for the rental, but I strongly advise you to look into this gentleman who handles this location. His attitude and demeanor were completely unprofessional.Eric H.
Well, the locations can be open when they say they are going to be open. We arrived a few minutes past 8:00 am and the location was dark and locked. We called customer service and all they could offer was for me to talk to a scheduler to find another location. The only information they were able to provide was that the employee had not clocked in for the day.. obviously. We asked if they could contact him to see if he was on his way; they said no and I could either wait or call another location. At 8:25, the employee finally arrived and wasn't he a gem. He finally let me enter the building at about 8:30, after turning on lights and starting the coffee pot, and clearly didn't want to deal with the uhaul side of his business. While he was barely speaking to me and getting me checked in, he stopped what he was doing TWICE to assist his convenient store customers. I didn't walk out of the store with keys until about 8:45.. so, it basically took me 45 minutes to get that van. The van itself still had trash in the cupholders and mud all along the floor. At the end of the day, the van worked for what we needed but this was not a pleasant experience.bri-anne D.

Signing for the uhaul was hassle free but the location is a gas station and the trailer is parked close to the pump so when I finally hocked the trailer up I had to wait for a customer to finishing pumping gas so I could pull out. After I returned the trailer and detached it, I went inside and asked if there was anything I needed to do before I leave the trailer. The worker simply said nope it's all good. The next day I get an email saying I haven't returned the trailer...Zachary H.
When the truck was returned at the last minute because no extra time was allowed, the computer was not working at the station. Therefore we got a late email that required a response. The woman at the Shell station counter did not inspect the truck, but just wrote a note about when it was turned in. Today I got a bill for cleaning This should have been done when we dropped the truck off so that I could have swept or dealt with whatever was needed. The worst service and equipment experience in my life! I had rented Uhaul so many times and in different states.. but, never saw anything like this!! The gas station was rude and belligerent when I asked him why I can't have the size truck I reserved online. His answer was: f*** you.. I was in awe and literally just walked out to find the truck old dirty and stinky.. the truck could barely make it uphill and I felt like the steering wheel was loose, it was shaking and scary.. when I got back, He said the system was down, estimated my charges to almost $45.00 just for me to wake up on a $80.00 charge on my account! I got to this location a few minutes before 8 am an it was closed. The man opening this store was 10 minutes late-I was reaching out to customer care when he finally showed up. The truck was clean but only on a forth of a tank. He told me there was a dolly and blankets in the back of the truck and that I would be charged if the seal was broken. First off, when I made my reservation on line, I declined all the extras. The truck is small and we had a lot of items to move. We had 2 of our own dollies, but apparently the seal broke on the truck dolly so I was charged an extra 7 dollars for something I did not use. I had to put gas in the truck before my second stop because it was already on empty and delivered the truck back with more gas than I started with. The man at the store was rude and refused to discount the 7 dollars on my bill. I will NEVER rent a uhaul from this store again. In fact I will let anyone I know who needs to rent one to avoid this location. Very very disappointed!!!Shirley R.

I think that there needs to be better communication because locations and anyone working for uhaul in general. On the morning of Friday May 31 I spoke to A person who answered the phone at the north bend location and she said I didn't need to be present that my card was on file and I had nothing to worry about. My dad arrived at the location to pick up the uhaul and come to find out that was nothing but crap. The pick up location was in an unsafe area, very sketchy in a run down messy shell station. The man working barely spoke or understood English. I'm not happy about being inconvenienced and I would like something to be done. Poor communicationRobert B.

This is for all the locations in our area. We had a reservation that was not honored, so we had to go to 2 other Uhauls to find our truck. We had a credit card called in, but when I got to the location, I had to use another one. I was picking up the truck for a family member. Very unorganized service. I would never recommend to a friend. We will use another trucking service.Dustin M.
Return the truck required a second trip. There was a note that they would return in 10 minutes but we waited over an hour with no one in sight.matt S.
The truck I rented had a faulty fuel gauge. The gauge showed full when I signed for the truck, however, at the same time the low fuel light was always on. When I returned the truck, it took 7.7 gallons to fill the tank (at $2.859/ gal.) I only drove the truck 32 miles. You do the math... that's just over 4 mpg. I don't know what the EPA estimated mpg is for that truck, but I expect it is somewhere above 10 mpg. Based on 10 mpg, the truck should have used a little over 3 gallons of gas. I was overcharged $12.87 for fuel. I expect a refund. I will be reporting this to Mastercard.Oren W.

Arrived at pick up location at 755am, suppose to pick up at 8am. At 815 the shop was still not open, I called the customer service number and got hung up on by accident. Called back and talked to someone that was helpful. She called the regional person and finally the attendant arrived at the shop at 827am. 27 minutes late. He does not greet me, say hello, sorry for being late, piss off, nothing. He proceeds to open the entire store including going into the back to turn on some other items while I wanted for him to get me into the truck. When I mentioned this to him, he got pissy with me and said he had to wait for the computer to start up (this was the first thing he said to me that morning). He then had a hard time getting my info which I had completed online earlier that morning because I was on a tight time frame. I had to do it all over with him and then he had me go inspect the truck by myself. All in all, I was an hour behind before pulling out of the parking lot, with people waiting at my house to help move. Then the drop off was difficult because the lady wanted to argue with me about the gas level not being correct. I had just put 6 gallons of gas in the truck after driving it 39 miles with no idle time. I finally convinced her to come out with me and I had to explain to her how to read a gas gauge. She then mumbled something under her breath and went back inside. All in all, a really shitty experience at the site. I was also told by the person on the phone earlier in the day that I would hear from the regional person to "make things right" and I am not surprised to report that that didn't happen either. All in all, very disappointed with the experience. I would like a call back to explain what UHaul is going to do to make this right. 513 265 9390Chris M.

I scheduled my pick up online about 10 days before the move. This was not my original pick up point. I think they switched it because of the day (12.31.2018). It is a gas station convenient store. The clerk was very familiar with the UHaul procedures. We were on the road in 10 minutes. The vehicle was in excellent condition. I would recommended this location. ¡Gracias!George T.

Upon returning the 20ft Uhaul the owner inside of store told me to put gas in the truck, and I expressed that the gas hand is on Full and took a picture, he relentlessly argued with me that just because it is on F does not make it Full... Then went as far as to cuss at me and call me names to unbearable to post. I put $5.00 in and he still called me a Kahn and Cheat, when the gas hand was on full. Serious negativity and definitely should not be trusted. Really unbelievable that he communicated like that to me. Beware!!!AMY D.

This location is a gas station Mini Mart. U-Haul is a side business and customers are treated as less important than Mini Mart customers. They bring up every customer who came in the door while I was there while I waited to have the truck inspected and returned after a long day of moving.Christina O.
I rented the truck on two separate days in order to complete the move. Both times when I returned the truck I was made to wait until there were no customers in the store before I could be checked out and attended to. I waited for at least half an hour before I was taken care of while other customers walked in and out of the convenience store and I continued to wait. They failed to see I was a customer as well. The gentleman who rented me the truck was very rude. He did a couple things that would rate as a zero when it comes to customer service. 1. when the mailman walked in and handed him his mail, he started to open it and read it while servicing my reservation. I had to ask him to stop and complete my reservation so I could leave. 2. He would not walk around the truck with me to verify if everything was as written in the contract and if all equipment was there. I told him there was no two wheel dolly but he declined to take it off my bill saying he couldn't. I still have not received my $10.00 credit for it.Greg C.
