MICHAEL MYou are overcharging for gas due to inaccurate fuel gauge . I drove 11 miles total, I added 1.5 gallons of gas and then was charged for an additional 2 gallons at check in.
Ingo PThe guy at the counter was very rude, barely said anything to me besides scan your id and you can leave now. The U-Haul was in ok condition, not the cleanest but was durable, however we had to throw away two half empty water bottles and a beer can.

MICHAEL RThe inside of the 10 foot cube van had some garbage in it. But the biggest problem was that there was no windshield wiper blade on the passenger side of the vehicle. I called and talked to two individuals at the Ace. Had no remedy or solution for it. I rented the vehicle for roughly 4 days. When it rained, I just folded the blade up, to prevent scratching the windshield. I was not happy about that. And, the wiper blade was not stolen while in my possession.
jose aTail light was out. Truck was dirty with wood when received. Driver door couldn’t be open from outside due to missing key knob.

Dragan K1. U-Haul agent booked me for 5am. Upon Arrival, ALL vehicles were behind a locked gate. Scheduling doesn’t open till 7:30 am; U-Haul store doesn’t open till 8am. 2. While getting breakfast at the neighboring Walgreens, I noticed the Trucks behind the Facility. 3. Eventually I found the Lock Boxes, but then the U-Haul App would not provide a code. 4. U-Haul agent said I had not completed the Approval Process, and had to make changes on their end before I was ultimately able to upload my ID and such. This STEP could have been handled BETTER with more Transparent Communication as I had already reserved via Mobile Pickup. Had I known, I would have completed this beforehand. Ultimately once ALL the kinks were worked out, it was pretty smooth. Then I ran into a similar issue when attempting to return the Truck (different facility in a different city). No code in Mobile App, no lock boxes to be found. 72 hours later U-Haul was calling “where are the keys?” “In the Glove Box” In the end, nothing wrong with either facility. U-Haul IT just needs to post-mortem these items.
Hank RNot only was my truck given to someone else but they gave my truck away under my name and reservation. And I told them I needed it for 4 hours and no one found it necessary to tell me that they would be closed when I returned and my car would be locked in their parking lot. There was garbage in the back of the truck when I received it.
Corey VThere was a problem with the truck , truck needs a tune up and was not well maintained. Had trouble accelerating. Brake light on the dash was beeping and blinking the whole time while driving. I drove less than 12 miles and was skeptical on the truck.

NIHAD NThe truck issued to me had various dash lights on. ABS and low tire pressure. It also stated that the stable link (I think) needed to be serviced. They quickly swapped it out after notifying them. Just delayed me about a half hour.
Bruno MCheck in process and return were a complete mess. During check I was ignored multiple times. When I finally was helped the people doing my check in were clueless. Even with a confirmation email they were confused and dumbfounded. Kept asking me if my name was Ilene. Asked me multiple times if I was gong one way. Couldn’t find my reservation. A complete mess. On return they asked me multiple times where I got the truck from. From this location I told them. Tat seemed to confuse them even more. Horrible experience. People could use more training on the system and costumer service.
Keith LThe drop off process was not through enough. I was told to hand them the keys and I was good to go. I would have expected to do a walk around and check fuel gauges and such. I left the haul with more gas than I had when I picked it up but the gentleman that took the keys from said it had only an eighth of a tank. It was well above a quarter. It was returned with the required amount. I mention this because I received an invoice stated that I was charged a $30 fuel service fee and $25 for 5 gallons of gas. This charge did get dropped, but had we done a walk around it would have never became an issue. The truck was awesome and performed perfectly. Thank you!

Dominick OI just walked in and gave the keys to the Customer Sevice rep and walked right out. He mentioned that I would get a drop off confirmation email and it literally happened within 15min. This process was soooo easy and the most convenient!
Paul SMy experience with the staff and equipment was great. I wish ALL your vehicles ALL had ez load ramps including the smaller vans. I had to get a 15' cargo truck for just 2 items because I needed the ramp. Maybe even some pickups with power lift gates!

Jennifer MI booked 2 months a head of the date at a location a miles away from pick up and drop off. Two days before, I received a called stating they need to move my pick up to another location down the road. It was 8 miles away. When I got there at my time no one checked me in for over 30 minutes. Then they did not have the size I needed to fit the space I had to park. So I end up renting two uhauls on that day. (This truck and a cargo van near Niles) I wasted tons of money on Ubers. I moved my family of 6 and uhaul made it a nightmare. Never again.

Victoria KYou guy over charged me I payed $600 dollars for a first timer renting a trailer and a dolly for less than 12 hour that ridiculous crazy never in my life I would want your service nor recommend anyone to uhall. I ask before I got they’re machine what’s the total they gave me one quote and I was fine with that but wen I return the equipment I was charge more off my card which crazy hate this!!! Really an honestly upset angry
