I requested an appliance dolly with my rental, the property did not make contact with me prior to arrival to inform me it was not available. Instead upon arrival the agent informed it wasn’t available and attempted to rent me out a regular dolly, I did not need a regular one I specifically needed the appliance dolly since I would be moving large appliances. The location had me drive halfway across town to retrieve an appliance dolly from a U-Haul location and the appliance dolly had to be returned to the original U-Haul location. I wasted gas having to drive back and forth to retrieve the item. Had I known this was going to be an issue prior to arriving I would have cancelled the reservation and attempted to rent from another location that did have what I needed available.
