I was unhappy with how long it took to receive my rental. It took 20 minutes for someone to even come into the office and assist me. Then when I went to get the uhaul, It was dirty inside and out. I couldn't take more pictures but the one I submitted. I began to drive off and heard banging noise inside, it was the dolly which had been unhooked. I returned this uhaul cleaner than how I received it. Clean and ready for the next person. Not to mention that this was the worse reservation experience I have ever had. I will not use this location again nor will I recommend this place.Angelajane T.

I picked up my Uhaul got approximately 2 miles down the road someone flagged me down an said gas was pouring out of it!!! I pulled over was unable to continue due to gas tank had a hole in it, had to wait for a tow truck, wasted 4 hours of my day an didn't get a replacement truck because non were available!! Also my money was never refunded as promised, I will never use this location or Uhaul again!!! Their customer service is horribleDaniel B.

The pickup truck bed has leaves and trash papers. The mileage isn't correct on the rental paper. I showed it to the operator and he told me that he would fix it in the computer. When I returned the truck, the operator still used the wrong mileage to charge me on the mileage I drove. I told him the mileage charge isn't correct, and he said that I should fix it in the computer. The altitude of the operator is not acceptable. I was charged with incorrect mileage used.Techang C.

My reservation was for 12noon I Called and confirmed at 1130 I arrived at 1215p. Then I received a call my reservation was canceled. I was over charged for my rental on my emailed statement. 2days later, I'm still waiting for U-Haul to get back to me for an explanation.Manuel G.

When my husband arrived, the appliance dolly we reserved was not there or not available. It took them forever to look for it before he was told he needed to go to another rental place to get it. Not only was his time wasted, he was not offered any discounts or anything for all the hassle.Dontrel H.

A little nip pickey about the gas I barely used any gas and brought back a little bit under 7/8 and the meter was not on 7/8 where he marked it, I bought the extra insurance as well so he could have gave me a break on the gas overall it's supposed to be about customer service and wanting me to come back, I probably won't be back or recommend this location.Jermaine B.

I didn't have a problem with the power in office but I did have a problem with the the florin rd office when I went to pick up the truck the man that was helping me was looking for the keys for about 10 to 15 minutes and then he went back to the computer and says oh the keys were lost to the truck and then he gets on the phone to call someone and they tell him to send me to another location , and he tell me that I will receive a $50 guarantee but he never put it in the computer that I didn't receive the truck so I had to wait until the following Friday to call uhaul myself and explain what had transpired and the lady I spoke with fixed it to where I would receive the $50 dollar but what a inconvenienceCorigon R.

I had a reservation. 0.25 mi away had to drive almost an hour to pick it up on a Thursday with traffic, and an over an hour back. I guess uhaul isn't what it seems. Be careful on your reservations online they will send you anywhere and say sorry that's all that is available. Bad experiance...Jeremiah R.

The process of picking up a box-truck and a transport unit was very difficult. Poor service at some locations in Sacramento orders were processed and canceled "many times". Had to go to several stores to get the equipment. It seems there is a logistic issue between product availability and the actual what's there. Could be computer software issues or poor inventory management.Jim P.

First of all experienced horrible customer service. Rented the uhaul for 2 days and when I asked how to return the uhaul "Gabriel Garcia" just kept repeatedly saying "wer're close Sundays, just return it Sunday there's an app" like he was annoyed or hated his job/life. So after those incomplete directions, frustrated as I was I just walked out with the keys. First thing I noticed was the uhaul was completely dirty and untaken care of. By far the worst condition uhaul I've seen(I moved 7x in college and rented a uhual for almost everytime). Tires seemed a flat, uhaul was so dirty and windshield was so dusty my uncle and I spent quite sometime literally cleaning the windshield so we can see. Picked up the uhaul Friday 10/19/18 and returned it Sunday 10/21/18 WITH gas. Was charged 3 days and a $8.93 for gas. Called the place asked to speak to "Gabriel" and supposedly "he wasn't in that day". The guy that picked up the phone put in my phone number and name and "I wasn't in the system" told me to call "1-800- uhaul" but it's suppose to be "1-800-GO-uhaul" stupid guy! Any ways long story short, DON"T RENT FROM THEM! They do not care about their customers! I only came here because it was the closest next time I rather drive another 7 miles and try my luck there! First and last place for this location! I regret renting from here!!!Fue T.
Not only was there no truck at the location i had scheduled, i waited on hold for 15 minutes just to talk to customer service (i have a picture as proof) i was moving into my apartment and it took an hour and a half to go get another truck from another location, plus my extra miles to drive there. So obviously i was going to need more time with the truck, and didn't get it, but got charged extra for it. The customer service rep wasn't helpful telling me i have to file a claim to report the situation. Like, really? How bout you just make sure i don't get charged for more time when your company was in the wrong. Extremely dissatisfied. Will not use this company again unless something actually gets worked out with me. And i will make damn sure no one else makes the mistake i did too.Catie M.

My location pickup was moved, when I called to confirm per the UHaul email the phone number was incorrect. I tracked the location down and learned from them my location had been moved again this time 30min away. In the end it worked out but communication from UHaul scheduling was piss poor at best. The positive was both locations were professional and very helpful.Bruce H.
I will never rent from u-haul again. First and foremost, You should not be able to reserve a truck on line and chose a location if the truck at your desired location in not available to begin with. It was a HUGE inconvenience when they called me morning of my move to say i had to pick up the uhaul at a place that was closed #1, and #2 was Almost 15 miles away from my residence. It was too late to make alternate arrangements so I had no choice but to pick it up at the other location. This change interfered with my move in inspection and moving schedule as it is a 30 mimite drive each way. This ate up my miles AND GAS. You get charged $1.09/mile so my rental ended up being 3 times as much. Im very very unsatisfied and a manager is supposed to be calling me so i can voice this to them as well. Hopefully there is some resolution and credit for the major inconvenience during an already stressful time.Michelle L.

I use u haul trailers quite often, and the service is usually excellent. This time was different. I made a reservation on line and when I arrived to pick up the trailer I was told they didn't have one ready and sent me to another location. It was pouring rain and I was unfamiliar with the city. I arrived at the second location which was actually a auto body shop and waited about a half an hour before the guy helped me. He was too busy running his shop. After doing the paperwork he told me I had to hook it up myself! I told him I didn't know how and he said that they can't be liable and that it's the customer responsibility. I never heard that before! The lights on the trailer didn't work properly and neither did the right side wheel strap. I needed it for a 350 mile trip. I made it home ok, but wanted to share...Itamar L.

had issue with my original reservation at florin road, they didn't have a truck at guaranteed time. Store transferred me to a customer service rep, Jessica. She sounded very rude. I asked her if there is anything like a discount that I can I if I was to rent from a farther place because she said there is a truck in downtown which is 20 minutes from me. She said no knowing that there is a $50 credit for guaranteed rentals if they did not have one when you reserved. I later found this out. She needs more training on being more compassionate to people and really wanting to help them out. I hear that interactions between uhaul employees are recorded and you can go back and listen to all my conversations with her. my phone is 530-219-2727. The rep that helped me with this particular rental was extra helpful. I don't know her name. I have rented many times with uhaul before and this was my worst experience dealing with Jessica.paul P.

My equipment was at a different location and no one contacted me to let me know. The different location didn't open until 9am so we had to wait out front until Nor Cal Customs opened. The owner never even showed up but he sent his son(who didn't show up until 10). To top it all off I got charged twice. I don't even want to be charged for the first day from all of the inconvenience this experience has cost me. But it is nearly impossible for any managers to give me a call for some reason. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life and whoever is in charge of the Sacramento uhaul services is doing a horrible jobJennifer T.
