This was my worst experience with U-Haul. I have booked for 12 PM but got the truck at 1.30 PM without cleaned/Sanitize and with just above half tank fuel, The delay made me pay an extra charge for the condo elevator. We fueled full tank as the guy asked to do so and said will pay back upon showing the receipt while handing over the key but he declined at the end and we lost around 54$ just for fuel. While returning, the guy called me and said if I do not return the vehicle at 5 PM(As booked), he will charge for the next day as well by ignoring that he handed over the truck one and a half hours late. I rushed and handed over the truck by 6 PM but his behavior was too irritating and it was a very bad experience for me from U-Haul. For more details, Please reach me on 6473311474. Original web booking for 8AM was moved (by U-Haul) to another location that only opened at 10AM. Truck was not there when I arrived. The reserved truck never showed up but I was able to take a truck that was being returned at 11AM by another Customer. I understand some customers do not return their vehicle on time but why did U-Haul move my reservation to a location that did not have a lot of vehicles. I would have gone to a bigger location that had plenty of vehicles. I lots 3hrs of the day waiting for a vehicle.

Dear UHAUL, Please be aware that the staff/owners at Nivetha Textile were extremely unprofessional. - A call was received from someone who shouted – Do you want the van??? - I responded who is this? They didn't respond. - I said is this UHAUL? Then they said yes, I replied I would be there in 15 and was hung up on. The person I rented the van from had no idea what they were doing and could not provide a receipt then stated they would email it to me. Then sent a link in where I could not upload pictures to UHAUL showing the current damages. The cargo van was in terrible condition, the front bumper was being held up by a wire, there was damage everywhere. The interior cab was filthy and there was food. The vehicle pulled on the highway and is in need of repair. I documented everything and returned the van with nearly a full tank, I was not provided a receipt again not compensated for the extra gas I put in. I will not be going back to this location again.

I had to wait 45m to get the trailer, even though I had checked in online (my information had to be "rechecked"). I was not given an agreement (suspect the dealer wanted to scam U Haul) or a diagram marking the dents and scratches on the trailer. Was charged an extra day for delivering the trailer 3h hours late, even though I was told that I could return it until the end of the day at no extra charge when I reserved it. Will not go back to this location.

I requested quilts and a furniture dolly which were not provided. The facility was closed so there was nobody I could talk to. I mentioned this to the online check-in person and he told me to come back a few hours later once they were open (not a viable option as we were on schedule), or to call a phone number in Kawartha Lakes (90 minutes away). After returning the vehicle I found the owner of the facility outside and he said he intentionally had not put those items in the truck for fear of them being stolen overnight. He further said that I should have called the number hand written on a door for a business that seemed different from the U-Haul rental business. The communication process for this situation needs improvement.

This was a horrible experience!! I was first given confirmation with a reservation number that DID NOT exist. Once that was resolved, the 24/7 mobile check in today over 30minutes and did not allow us to check out upon return. Very disappointed with the service for this trip!

This is the worst experience at all levels that I could have ever imagined! I've also been overcharged on my invoice for cleaning! Until this point, I was a loyal U-Haul customer. I could not be more disappointment in my U-Haul experience. The vehicle was filthy and uncapped.The customer service was unspeakably bad

I had the worst Customer service experience you can imagine dealing with the owner of Nivetha Textile. I have never met an unprofessional, ignorant and disrespectful person in my life. Being a business woman myself and dealing with customers on a daily basis I couldn't believe my eyes and ears as the owner of the textile shop treated me and my fiancé “Like Shit” no pun intended. I will never again rent a truck from this location even if I was desperately in need of one in the future. I completed the online check in prior to arriving to the pick up location. I headed into the shop to ask for assistance as I was having a hard time in completing the Pick up truck portion online. The owner was on the phone and speaking loudly in his language and disregarding me completely. I tried getting his attention and despite him hearing me clearly he decided not to answer me. I asked for his assistance many times and finally he answered “YOU DO ONLINE, YOU DO ONLINE” without giving me a chance to speak and ask for assistance when again he ignored me. I started to panic and felt super frustrated Where I started tearing up. He was on the phone yapping away with a friend and completely disregarded my existence and when he started to talk to me he was super rude and ignorant. This man is an extremely horrible person and should NOT have the opportunity to run a neighbourhood U-Haul at all. This is not a reflection of U-Haul but a reflection of the second party that does not have the skills or common sense to run a business let alone run a uhaul business and destroy U-Hauls brand. I suggest U-Haul to revoke their business from him before he ruins the company image even further in Toronto. I was so disgusted by this man that I did not even want to see or talk to him so I simply returned the truck and completed all necessary steps online to avoid him. PLEASE REVOKE HIS LICENCE TO RENT OUT U-HAUL TRUCKS AWAY FROM HIS BUSINESS.

Service was horrendous and unprofessional. I will never use 2525 pharmacy location again. I was surprisingly extremely disappointed because my repeated and often previous experiences at Doncaster location with Arthur have been amazing. I have a reservation today (Saturday July 4th to rent a vehicle for a week and most likely 2 - 3 weeks. I have gone with a more expensive option.

I was supposed to receive 15 feet truck by 12:30 pm , but I was told around 11:50 pm that I can't get 15 feet truck as there was break down. On the the other hand I was charged more than what I should've been charged for. The estimated calculation was done on the 20 mile but the actual was 16 mile. Could please return the money back to my account?

The vehicle shows a lot of wear and tear. The steering wheel felt very loose. The floor was dirty. Covered with sand. So much so the items I has placed on the floor are now dirty.

Mobile pickup was bogged down due to volume. Contacted owner of the Nivetha uhaul location and he came over immediately to assist us with the pick up the truck. Nice person and good service. Cannot ask for more.

The gentleman at this location was professional in his approach and accommodating. He stayed back late on a Sunday night for me to get there and pickup the truck. Upon returning the truck, I had left something valuable behind, and he was accommodating in allowing me to return and access the truck again, after it was returned. Have rented trucks a couple of times from this location, have had good experiences, would go back, and would recommend it to others.

The store keeper doesn't know how to treat/talk with customers. Taking necessary details in regards to insurance (Which I've opted not to use Uhaul insurance) and still he needs me to sign on extra document which was prepared by him. I've no idea why that was done as I've been using U-haul for years now never experienced. And regards to fuel, fuel was in between 2nd and 3rd needle in the meter and not even half tank (I have pictures if required). Which is not easy to match the same while return. However, I've filled the gas more than what he gave me. And still he says the gas is low but "That is ok" . I was so irritated by his statement it looked like as if i'm giving less in return and as if he's doing a favor to me. I'm offended by his statement, it was so annoying. The gas was not given at specific range, I've filled more than it was and still the store keeper says " The gas is low but That's ok" ridiculous. overall worst experience not sure how this guy is running U-haul , hope he doesn't spoil the reputation which is at risk already.

Make sure your locations dont forget to prepare truck that was ordered 2 day prior to the moving date. Our location was moved 3 times! We ended up taking a smaller truck and have people wait for us for 4(!!) hours. The company wouldn't reimburse us for this time and didn't do anything to rectify this experience. Customer service did everything they could do, so no complaints here. Uhaul could apply their $50 Reservation Guarantee! to our order as they couldnt provide us with the reservation twice (!). Very unhappy with the experience.

Uhaul changed my reservation location without my consent. I had to detour 20km to pick up and drop off the rental. Uhaul has not reimbursed me for the extra distance travelled.

Small Mirror on passenger side was chattered before i took over. Had to walk around building in inclement weather to alert proprietor so as not to move the truck. He then put a sticker on it but did not take a picture. I took.pics n called uhaul 1-800 number. They assured me that if I had pics then I'm cleared of any wrongdoings I was very pleased to see snow tires on the vehicle as I had to contend with freezing rain n sleet This location has a bad rating wrt customer service as being abrupt n rude but I think alot of what people are sensing is merely a cultural difference. They are Indian/Pakistan propritors and I know from experience at my work that this abruptness is part of their cultural make up. So overall the experience unnerving but successful. Thankyou

Drove for an hr in a snow storm because uhaul switched my pickup location then the rate I was charged was not the $110 I was promised. Was also charged for a dolly I never recieved the transit manager is supposed to be requesting the calls so she can discount my bill that was never done.

The pickup location had a very strong odour, but the staff was efficient enough. He didn't go through the truck for its existing damages very well. They didn't even have appliance dollies available for rent.

The business is running out of a clothing store with no sign. It took 45 minutes to pick up the car. It was covered in snow and ice. I rented it for 4 hours and was supposed to be charged for 100 kilometets. My card is charged for150 kilometres, i was also charged an additional 8.63$ for 1 litre of gas. The guy doesn't communicate anything properly and accurately. He is absolutely unprofessional. I had a horrible experience and the surprise with more charges than expected. I need to be reimbursed for additional charges without my knowledge. Please contact me. Thank you!

I arrived before 10 AM which was my scheduled pick up time. I was told the Vehicle would not be delivered until 10:45 AM. After calling Uhaul and speaking to 4 different people i was told that i could take a truck that was parked in the parking lot from before 10 AM. I eventually got the truck at 10:30 AM. I am extremely dissatisfied by the level of service provided.
