I was reschedule three times to pickup truck the first time I call in to reserve truck was 6 miles from my home in Stedman, NC. Truck was in inventory at this time I was told would be there. On 5-9 had been update to pickup Truck at 2346 Gillespie St. Fatetteville, NC On 5-10 had updated pickup truck at 333 N. Main St Hope Mills, NC each time I received update pickup was further away from my home. I don't understand the problems I had with UHaul I will NOT BE USING UHAL AGAIN.

Owner made me stand there for 10 minutes while she was talking on her personal cell phone. Hard to find because the Uhaul sign is hidden behind trash items on the curb. Absolutely would not continue business with her if I was Uhaul

I arrived to find out that I had to talk to someone working from home and I had to read out all my pertinent information inside of the store with another customer inside. I was charged for gas refuel when I refueled it to the exact same point it was at. I will not return to do business at this location.
MICHELLE R.Ensure that the Uhaul Representative at the Thrift Store on Main Street (Hope Mills) is knowledgeable and capable of doing her job! My rented Uhaul trailer was connected to my car by a total stranger. A gentleman exited his car and stated to the Uhaul Representative and myself 'do you ladies need any help' then the Uhaul Representative to my surprise allowed him to connect the trailer to my car. She did not assist him until I stated that another Uhaul Representative at another store had informed me that the Uhaul Representative is responsible for connecting Uhaul's equipment. During my rental period I noticed that the chain on oneside the trailer had broken into two pieces. I attached two D-rings to hold the chain together. I think that the chain snapped because it was hanging too low and dragged on the ground/pavement surfaces. This may have not occurred if the Uhaul Representative did her duties properly. Upon returning the rented trailer, I informed the Uhaul Representative of the chain and she had me back the trailer closer to the staging area as she showed me her hand with stitches saying that she was not able to lift the trailer. My rental experience at this location was less than stellar and I do not intend to rent from this location again or recommend it to others. I've rented from Uhaul on an as needed basis for a few years and all previous rentals were superb!

I RENTED A APPLIANCE DOLLY FROM ORIGINAL LOCATION HAD TO RETURN IT THERE. CLOSED ON SUNDAY. I RETURNED THE TRUCK TO A LOCATION. TO ME JESSICA LEFT ME WHAT I TOOK AS A SOMEWHAT NASTY MESSAGE “ ASKING WHERE HER TRUCK WAS. “ Hi good afternoon this message is for going to limit Brian this is Jessica with store smart self storage and U-Haul in regards to the U-Haul that you have that was currently supposed to be returned this morning by 11 AM I need you to get in contact with me let me know what my truck is I can be reached at 910-426-2233 thanks…†I WAS TOLD WHEN I HAD TO BE TRANSFERRED TO A DIFFERENT PICK UP LOCATION THAT I HAD UNTIL NOOD TO RETURN IT. BUT NO I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THAT LOCATION TO ANYONE. U HAUL ON A HOLD. I REALLY CAN'T SAY ON A POSITIVE NOTE WHETER OR NOT I WILL USE AGAIN, OR RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANYONE.

nicole W.No one was at the location for the 10am appointment. Someone showed up 30min late, but wasn't proficient in the rental process. It took more than another hour to complete the transaction. The truck needs front end work, the steering is loose, and has shimmy at higher speeds.
