We have filed a customer complaint. First truck wasn't ready when promised. Then when we opened to start filling truck there was poop in it that we had to clean. We called to say we were dropping in West Allie and we're initially told it would be double the original $162 x 2 = $324. Then we're told because Hillsboro owned truck we couldn't. No where on the contract does it say you can't return to different location. We are waiting to hear back as we're due a refund.Jordan W.

I had a terrible experience picking up the truck. In the first place I wanted to pick the truck up in La Crosse. I was told I had to pick it up in Hillsboro and that the location is closed when I was scheduled to pick up. I called and spoke to the personnel at Hillsboro,who told me that the 24/7 Truck Share doesn't work at his location. I arrived at the location and found that it indeed does not work. When I called 888 number i was placed on hold for at least 15 minutes and still hadn't spoken to anyone. Fortunately for me, a passerby alerted the personnel that I was there struggling to pick up my rental. If he hadn't come to issue the truck I suppose I would still be there struggling with a broken system.Deborah D.
To be very clear. Im not rating the location. I'm rating Uhauls reservation system. At best on a scale of 1-10 it is a Negative 10. After making a reservation one week in advance i was forced to change my plans last minute Due to uhaul changing the pick up location the day before & Had drive to a location 75 minutes out of my way which i was chargeD mileage and gas for besides the fact that i lost 3 hours of valuable time from my day. The location is so remote that the gps signal was lost and i had to waste another 45 min working with dispatch to get the truck keys because the location is closed on Saturday!!!! It was a horrific experience That left me, my wife and newly graduated college son vowing never to use UHaul again. It Literally destroyed Our day to the point where i had to drop the truck at an alternate location because my schedule was running so late. I am extremely disappointed and still in shock as i write this a day later.Patrick K.
