The website promises greater efficiency and shorter pick-up times if you check-in on-line and pre-pay. This turned out to be completely false. My rental pick-up still required 45 minutes! Don't expect to get your vehicle from your "preferred" location either. The day before my scheduled pick-up, my location was changed to one 26-miles away! When picking up your truck, you're completely at the mercy of the local provider and whatever level of incompetence they provide. In my case, an independently-owned gas station who conducted regular business over their wired network but COULD NOT check me in with U-Haul because their WiFi was down. I made a case that I was already checked-in & pre-paid and the truck was parked outside, why not just give me the key? Their answer was to send me even further down the road to another location! (I refused) I called U-Haul to ask them to call the station to confirm my check-in but they too were lost. Finally the store manager working from home was able to complete my check-in using his home WiFi. Did you expect blankets with your truck as promised during the rental process? Sorry, no blankets. I did get a moving dolly which I didn't need but they insisted I take it because they already charged me.Mark K.

This location was not acceptable. Before accepting this location I talked to a customer service representative and specifically asked her were there a higher rate for a pick up at a neighborhood area where trucks are reserved she told me no there were no higher rate than the u- haul stores . When I got my overall bill after returning the truck I were charged 99cents per mile where the u- haul store charge 79 cents per mile . I was very dissatisfied with this situation.ELAINE F.
Reason being for Not Applicable answer is because we couldn't get into the lock so we had to call which cut into my time. Yes we finally got it off. And the manager was nice about it though. I think they should use a key pad instead of a lock. Also the truck had roaches not sure if they came from the previous user. Moving forward make sure the trucks are being sprayed or baited. So the next user don't take pest home. Other than that they were nice about the lock situation and the roach situation I couldn't get anyone on the phone from U-Haul.TANYA B.

It appears that I was double billed (talked) and the U-Haul CS rep only explains that I was billed twice, but not how; I closed out my services for one final charger, then; a day later I find an additional charge. I have never seen this before at Enterprise, Penske, or Budget.CH W.
