So I had a complaint for my first rent but it's technically not our first try we never had good experience dwaling with people and how the transactions are being managed. We thought it would be easier to do everything online. I paid everything online and the chat support said just present the receipt and id because I did the checking in online but NO it wasn't still have to wait again to pay the tax and a slow system. So far not a good experience.

The people at this station were great but my experience with renting u-haul was not so great. First off I rented the truck for October 31st and did not receive it till November 1st which made my move way harder. I had hired help on the 31 st to load my truck and waited all day to not even getting it that day so 200. Dollars wasted there. When I finally got the truck the next day I had to find different help because my helpers had to work so there went 200. Dollars again. I booked my truck way ahead of time to be sure to have it and I guess it just doesn’t matter. If someone booked a truck should you not make sure there’s one there for the client?

I had to drive for 3 hours just to get to that location. And another 3 hours to get to mine. Plus I had to gas it up there it was only half full. An expense that wasn't in my budget. Estimated extra 100.00 Dollars

I called the evening before the drop off date and the guy at the Petro Canada hung up on me twice, telling me that it wasn’t Uhaul. The next day I drove to the location and the same guy at the Petro Canada didn’t want to receive the vehicle, I had to swear at him to drop off the vehicle. He told me it wasn’t Uhaul drop off location anymore. I pointed out the Uhaul sign everywhere in the gas station and also pointed out the Uhaul key drop off box on the building. I had to show him on my contract that I was at the right place. Brutal experience

Truck not ready for pick-up at 4:00 PM Find strange truck not fill with gasoline, we had to bring it back with same amount of gasoline when return. Customer service not very fast to serve us, alway's on the telephone.

-I used the location address that was in a confirmation email I received (I copied and pasted it into Google maps) and it brought me 2.6km away from where I needed to go. I was walking so yes it was particularly annoying and time consuming to get there. Please look into that. -If a vehicle is stationed at an actual gas station, it doesn’t make any sense to me not to provide the customer with a full tank to start off. I ended up overpaying at least $20 in gas because I was unsure of how much to put in. - It would be nice if the front end interior had been cleaned. It was obvious that no one had cleaned it in a very long time. It wasn’t dusty, it was dirty. -They were kind enough to give me a 10ft truck instead of the 15ft truck I reserved, I appreciated that.

Went to fill tank to what fuel level was when I got it, employee came outside and said 10$ should fill it to where it was then said that it was apparently 23$ said he'd charge me 20$. Apparently went over mileage but had to pick up the uhaul 2.5 hours away from the destination

Dès le départ, après seulement 10 minutes de route avec l'équipement, nous avons eu des problèmes. Cela ne restait pas fixé au camion, ça débarquait toujours. Nous avons dû retourner à l'établissement de New Liskeard pour qu'il répare l'équipement ce qui nous a beaucoup retardé. Après une réparation en vitesse, nous avons eu beaucoup de difficulté à enlever l'équipement du camion lorsque nous sommes retourné à Rouyn-Noranda car la réparation n'avait pas été faite correctement et par la suite tout le long du trajet pour Québec, nous n'avons jamais été en confiance avec l'équipement. Toujours la peur que cela ne tienne pas.

Would not accept drop off, I was sent across town to a different location. At the different location I was met by an impolite unfriendly person who demanded I drop the trailer off in an adjacent property.

We were told to pick it up at white wood they sent us to the other location even though when I was confirming they told me it was at Whitewood. I had papers saying when I was supposed to pick up and was told that was wrong. No one seems to know what the other is doing.

We could not drop the truck off at this location. We needed to go to an Esso station. Perhaps it should be noted there is only one location for drop off.

The people at the location where extremely friendly but the equipment was defective and should have been more properly maintained. Because I had done all the reservation online, it was a breeze to get through all the paper work. However, it took me 45 minutes to install the trailer because of a defective screw which require a crowbar to work...and remove.

Employé ne semble pas trop connaitre ses affaire. J’avais payé à l’avance pour aller plus vite sur place, mais ca a quand même été super long. Aucune aide avec la remorque, elle n’était pas accessible car une petite remorque était devant, on s’est débrouillé seuls pour la déplacer. Employés n’explique pas très bien, difficulté à se comprendre.

The trailer I rented wasn't working properly and it was in the mud. It was dirty. The guy that rented me the trailer had terrible customer service and was rude when I asked him to help me with the trailer as it wasn't working properly. I only proceeded with the rental because I was up there for a job and needed it. I just got a recite from uhaul. I was paid in full, I'm not sure why it says I owe money.

I had a terrible experience overall with Uhual. There is a serious lack of communication between the booking service and the pick up and drop off locations. First of, if you book a trailer for pick-up two weeks in advance then they shouldn't make you drive an additional 60km to go pick a trailer up during a move (one of the busiest times or your life). I booked in Thunder Bay and had to drive all the way to Kekabeka Falls to pick up the trailer. Plus they only give you one day's notice that they are changing your pickup location. Second off, with it being such a busy period of time, it would be great if you could have the equipment ready to go when you schedule your pick up. They didnt have any of blankets ready, they didnt have the cable to hook up the lights. There was several other issues with the experience but I dont have time to type them out. I really hope that you can get these issues resolved.

When I brought back the vehicle they were very rude. I was told that the by person at the place where I dropped off that he does not deal with u haul so park it in back and leave the keys in the box. I was very uneasy leaving it there with out someone walking around to check for damage. There was none but if something happened later how do you say it was not me. Never again will I go back there.

Have the person know if the right trailer ball is correct.Luckily I checked your website out before hand . I had a 2000 lbs ball, website said needed min 3500 lbs attendent said I was ok with 2000lbs. A loaded trailer traveling 700 km with wrong ball could possabley mean a serious accident. and trailers toungs should never be left frozen to the ground not very easy to free .

Why did the store charges were more expensive than the internet one. The internet cost was below 30.00$ and the store was almost double the cost for 8 hrs. Insurance cost was 8.00 dollars and the store insurance was 20.00 dollars. Would like a explanation why cost differ. Please contact me on my cel phone

The trailer tongue was in the mud when we picked it up. The right signal did not work, and we had to go to Bensons and get a replacement light and install it ourselves. We rented 12 blankets, and only got 11. Very disappointing. If there would have been an alternative supplier, I would have told hi to stick his trailer.

Provide better hours. We returned our truck a few hours later than the 3:30pm drop-ff and was billed for an extra day. So, my advice to future customers is to plan for two extra trips and one extra day. More so if your husband is a mechanic and has a garage full of tools to move.

We were quoted 953.72. had to drive 2.5 hours one way to pick up the truck as none were available in timmins even though we book over a month in advance. The dealer then wanted 965.02 and said take it or leave it. We then had to pay for the fuel for the round trip for our vehicle to get there and the add cost of fuel to ge the truck to Timmins. I called and spoke to a Natalie D (nathalie_dilidilisales@uhaul.com) who gave us the extra day rental due to the 5 hour drive and 400 extra km on the truck. as I explained to her this didn't cover fuel costs let alone our time that was lost for packing. She told me to send copies of the fuel to get reimbursed. One week later and I have sent copies repeatedly with no response. I have currently been waiting for 30 mins on the phone, just being passed around. 296.51 in extra fuel charges. We had to sweep the truck out as it was filthy. I included the pictures of what was swept out when I sent the receipts in. I have now been told the district manager Dean will call by the end of day.

When I dropped off the truck, the U Haul employee was quick to look after the vehicle and get me on my way. My mileage came to just under $10 but I was not charged for it. I very much appreciated that. It is these considerations that will make me use U Haul in the future.

The fact that this location was 2 and a half hours away from the location that I was supposed to pick up my trailer according to my CONFIRMATION call is the main issue. And then not being notified by your company that my tailer was not going to be at the confirmed location. I showed up at the place and all the could tell me was that my trailer was not going to come. And then those poor people were running around trying to help us find something for our move. U-Haul themselves did absolutely nothing.

Have better English speaking ppl work there. Hard to understand accent. And guy on cash tried to charge me exchange rate. And he did not know how to make change. Store a mess and Not clean. I Did appreciate the guy getting rid of my frig n stove when it wouldn't fit in my apartment and not aware there were about 30 stairs to take them up.

To specify to the client what amount of gas they may wish to put in the tank if simply local. I had put $50 and later the person tells me that I had put in way more than necessary. Not good. Also, truck needed "oil change required". Also not good.

Its the only one in our community so theres no other option. The only thing i didnt like is when i called two weeks in advance to make a reservation the guy said call back at the end of the month which made no sense to me bc if you leave it last minute you wont get one. So that was inconvieniant. In turn i had to go online and reserve one.

When I went to pick up the trailer at this location, i had to go to another location across town to complete and sign the paperwork before picking it up. I was not informed of this, despite a few calls to uhaul to confirm details of my reservation. The staff at the pick up location did not help or check on us while picking up the trailer.

I was given a truck with just above a quarter of a tank of gas and I only travelled 40 km in town . the gas guage didn,t move and when I returned it the attendant said there was more gas in it before I left and charged me 20 dollars which comes to the truck got 5 miles to the gallon in town, what a rip off artist this location is. I wouldn,t go back if it was the last place on earth

This is not the correct address of the local dealer. This caused me to run around late at night, when stores are closing, looking for the correct address on the other side of town. The dealer claims that they have been trying to correct the address with UHAUL for over a year. This is of no help to me when I rent the equipment 2.5hrs away and depend on the drop off location with staff who know what to do and who are expecting equipment to be dropped off.

The one time I had called to talk to a representative to confirm my reservation a lady named Nicole hung up on me three times. I know this was not a mistake because my husband called back the fourth time and she had no problem talking to him. Also, one time uhaul had called me at 7 am, this is a ridicoulous time to call. For the amount of money I had to spend within 24 hours, I was treated very poorly. It will be the last time I deal with UHAUL.

After making the reservation and was send to a different town for pick-up tried for 2 days to contact the pick-up location (both numbers) couldn't get through to find out there pick-up times. Not getting through, I called U-Haul and they called a different number and the pick-up place called me back. They have 2 lots one to pay and the other to pick-up that is a hassle specially when some one drops you off, how do you get to the second place across town. Secondly because you have to pick the truck and trailer up at the other place, you cannot check the truck or trailer out for damage and to see if the gas amount is correct before you sign the papers. When I got the papers filled out the representative didn't smile or be polite and it seemed more like a hassle to fill everything out, I went to the other site showed my paper work got the key, no one came with me to the truck to look it around, and knowing that I was also renting a trailer, the trailer still had to be hooked up. In my opinion that should have been done by the representative of U-Haul not the customer, the truck and trailer should have been ready to go.

The New Liskeard site was great, and the girls we talked to on the phone from head office went above and beyond to fix the problems we had with the original order from the Uhaul Site in Kirkland Lake. It was a mess, they promised us things they could not deliver and then made two orders for us, and one was a local order. Don't know where that came from. But the head office staff worked to fix the problem and the New Liskeard site provided us with a truck that met our needs.
